Well I have to stay here again. Buy the service is very bad. I travel a lot for work and pleasure and have always appreciated even its a bad service. Well, I made a silly mistake of calling the hotel from California in 10 pm PST time zone and the reception was on EST and they thought I was arriving at the same day… Wow… They covered up mistake pretty well and made it a No show and charged me for it. Well, I did not complain and paid for another night to stay there… OK… They did not have water for 4 hours since I checked In. I needed to shower and get ready for my meeting… WTF… They said it will be 20 11 am Before its fixed and then it s 3:30 pm… They really need their license to be revoked from Marriott corporate for this kind of service . Well, the people at reception don’t have the energy to welcome you and not even helpful. God. Thanks to Unilocal and reviews to find things around… The quality of room was good and I couldn’t say any less of that… I never bi#@h …but these guys made my 2 days at Pittsburgh not worth it… I hope they fix this.

Thanks to Unilocal and reviews to find things around… The quality of room was good and I couldn’t say any less of that… There were a lot of missing pieces to this hotel… It could be fixed with the service systems engineering. I hope they fix this.

Clean room and updated accommodations. Took a star off for the breakfast prices and service.

Good front desk people and they have pack n plays for the little ones. We booked on Priceline for under $ 100 a night and this hotel was easily worth it. We called after booking and they made sure we had a king with a sofa bed. Perfect for our family and the place was clean. The hotel is a little hard to find because the entrance is beside a Sheetz and it goes back at an angle. The Courtyard is on top of the hill. The Sheetz beside it is great for buying milk and coffee. It is nice for an easy run to Idlewild but traffic is a pain if you are driving during the week towards downtown. This a suburban hotel and nice if don’t need to go to the downtown area on multiple trips. Rush hour is crazy around here.

Very clean with exceptional ladies at the desk. It adds to a nice getaway when you stay at a great hotel! Give them a try if you’re in the area. Only 10 – 15 min. from the things in the«Burgh».

Very clean rooms and excellent staff. I stay in Marriott properties often and was pleased to call this home for a night. Close to restaurants and an easy drive to downtown Pittsburg.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful! We immediately hit the indoor pool upon check-in and it was very clean(and luckily not a lot of small screaming children!). The fitness center was also clean! Only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again!

I wasn’t there long, only from 1:30 am to 8 am on Monday night, 3⁄17 – actually 3/18, based on the time. The room was nice, but my experience checking in was a nightmare. More like a daydreammare; since I was fully awake. I arrived at 1:30 am to a sign that said something like, «Helping a guest, I’ll be right back.» Fifteen minutes later, I called the hotel with my cell phone, and it rang and rang and rang on the desk next to me. Finally, a guy appeared from the back. I have to believe he was dozing off or enthralled in a TV show. No apologies, nothing. At least he was relatively quick in checking me in, and I was able to hit the hay soon thereafter.

Nice lobby, friendly staff. The rooms are fine — nothing to write home about, but they get the job done. About what you’d expect from a Courtyard Marriott.

This was a solid sleepover stop outside of Pittsburg. The people were nice, and the rooms were as expected. the bed and sheets were a bit rough to deal with, but better than most budget hotels. If you need to stop between Chicago and DC, this is a good option.

I had never stayed at this Courtyard before but was the best stay at a Courtyard I’ve ever had. They went out of their way for me and allowed me to check in way eariler then normal. They also were really nice to my daughter and called her princess the ENTIRE time we were there because she said this was a princess castle. It’s stays like this that are the reason I choose to stay at Marriott properties and not stay at other hotels. I will stay at this single Marriott every time I go to Pittsburgh. Cost was not any higher then almost any other hotel that was not a dump in that area. The GM of the hotel was also there the day I checked out and I got to pass along how great the stay with them was.

Flawless overnight stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Monroeville, PA. I scouted the location on Google maps prior to arriving, and good thing I did, as the entrance was a little tricky(I entered near Sheetz and drove up the hill… SMART.) I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff and check-in and check out was simple and efficient. The room quality was top-notch, actually one of the cleanest places at which I’ve ever stayed, from the lobby to the room/carpet/walls to the bathroom. I only wish I stayed longer and had time to take advantage of the bar near the lobby, which looked great. This hotel just needs to keep on doing what they’re doing.

I love Marriott. In fact, as I write this review I’m staying in a Marriott room in DC for the next 120 days for work. However, the Monroeville location doesn’t seem to value its customers’ sleep. I was startled out of bed by a very loud drill that seemed to be going off in my room. After a quick inspection, it turned out that there were contractors doing work in a hall closet that shared a wall with my bed’s headboard. Instead of attempting to go back to sleep, I checked out and complained to the manager about the morning noise. Instead of apologizing, she just condescendingly told me that it wasn’t a drill but a different type of power tool. Marriott is lucky that they have treated me so well in the past, otherwise this experience would have cost the hotel chain a 120 day stay.

The good. Friendly staff and a nice«bistro» and bar with a fair selection of food. Decent rooms and food. The bad. Shower in my room looked as if it had not been properly cleaned. Some stray hairs from the previous tenant still in the shower. My room faced the«eat and park» across the street. Below me was an outside patio area with a BBQ. I guess the hotel allows, or doesn’t care, that folks stay out there and party late into the night. Just about ever night going on midnight there were people outside talking very loud and the hotel staff did nothing about it.

This place really goes above and beyond. Sure it’s just a «Marriott Courtyard.» But, this place is different. There is a very positive attitude among all the staff. They have a decent little bar that gets hopping sometimes. The bartenders(especially Amber) are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome. I travel frequently. This is the best Courtyard that I have ever been at. I really appreciate the service and attention that I get here.
