The best bread in the sub sandwich world. Pizza is made on the same dough… excellent. The subs put Subway, Quizno’s, and the like to shame. A little lack of discipline in the staff is apparent at times, but they are always friendly and get their jobs done. Sadly the move from Telegraph to downtown was nearly the death knell for Mancino’s of Monroe. The downtown corner location had sucky parking so between that and the downtown low-lifes and parasites lurking around, we stopped going. Update 6÷25÷13: I see now that they have moved yet again, this time down the block on Front Street next to Senior Cactus. Next stop, the east side.

Mancino’s has been moved a few times, but hopefully Unilocal will approve my address edit soon. It’s not on Telegraph anymore and hasn’t been there for years. I love the grinders at Mancino’s, especially the turkey grinder. A half-size is good enough for a regular lunch. I believe it’s 8″. The whole is enough for two meals for me. I haven’t had their pizza very often, as I like the grinders much more. Most people I know like it, though. No Wi-Fi here and the cell signal in this building for at least Verizon and AT&T is horrible, so don’t expect to do much work here during lunch unless you work offline. As a bonus, you can order food and drinks from the neighboring restaurants since they are all interconnected. I’d give them 4 stars, but they are usually a bit slow to get your order to the table.
