Been a while since I’ve been, but have ALWAYS enjoyed the food & received decent service. Not a place I have to go, but would not object. The facility is nice & clean.

Great pizza and sandwiches. Their pepperoni is my favorite choice for pizza in Monroe next to homemade. Only complaint that they can be inconsistent, especially the service. Been in there when its busy and gotten great service. Been in there when its practically empty and the service has been slow. Guess it must depend on who’s working when you show up. Food seems to be generally pretty consistently good.

Not impressed at all! With a coal fired oven you’d think you’d be able to get a crispy crust… WRONG! The two owners are ultimate douche rockets and the one owners kid walks around the place like he’s gods gift to pizza. If you want a decent pizza you’re better off getting one frozen from the grocery store or better yet, ordering som Howies!

Ok, just okay. If you are going to commit to eating here, go on a weeknight during happy hour for half off apps and drink special. Decent martinis. Dine outside. The pizza sucks. Overpriced everything considering the quality of the product. Watch out for rotted veggies in salads.

Every time I come back, I think it will get better. Couldn’t be wrong. Mexican Pork Nachos served with refrigerator cold meat, no melted cheese, WTF. Calzone served with sauce spread over it before baking instead of on the side as a dipping sauce(like it was pictured). This made it really soggy, and nasty since I hate their pizza sauce. Appetizers were good, but they are just frozen and deep-fried, so the oil must be clean. Small, weak menu selection; basically 6 types of food. Pizza, sandwiches, salads, pizza, calzones, and maybe burgers. Oh, and one-off«Inventions» like these lame nachos. C’mon Monroe, get some good food around here. If you want to hang out and drink a couple beers, it’s a nice place. Skipper the food unless it’s and appetizer. Which are half off in the late evening(what’s that tell ya?) Wait staff was worth 5 stars, which brought this up to a 2.

I really wish this place had the flavor of Tony Sacco’s pizza. I had heard it was the same but really it is far from it. It was just ok but not good enough for me to go back.

Love this place. Awesome food and a great crowd of people. Pizzas are amazing. They are also very quick, great for lunch hour.

The best coal fired pizza ever. We come all the way from California to eat here. The Stromboli is also impeccable! Will definitely be coming back soon!

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible and is the reason I’ll never go back. Upon every visit the service has been slow and employees unfriendly. We got up and left after waiting 5+ minutes for someone to even come to our table when they weren’t even busy. Very disappointed.

Driving home from Detroit we got to the point of being hangry. Looking on Unilocal,we took a chance on Nick & Ninos. Wise choice. Calzones were large, and flavorful. Service was decent if a little inattentive on the beverages. We would recommend this place for sure.

Poor Customer service! Manager has stated that our take-out business is not needed/wanted so lets stop giving it to them. Take your business elsewhere where its appreciated. Maybe Nick & Nino’s will want our business after they have done without and it has put a dent in their pocketbooks. The manager has also stated that they do not have to disclose restrictions/conditions on their coupons but you & I know that everyone else does! This means they think that its ok if you come in with a coupon that says one thing & they could change it at their whim. Example, Dennys, Bob Evans, A &W, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse(just to name a few) all designate on their coupons with the words«dine-in only«when they must be used in the restaurant. Nick & Nino’s manager has stated that they dont have to disclose that the coupon is for dine in only. So you order your take out, show up to pick it up, give them your 20% off coupon and they can refuse to honor it even thou NOWHERE on it says dine-in only. To me thats shady and dishonest. If they are that sneaky/dishonest with their coupons what else could they be hiding from us customers? I wont take that chance with my family Anymore!

You must try their coal fired pizza. Also love their burgers and their Caribbean fish tacos. Garlic knots are a delicious appetizer. Their salads are fabulous and generous portions. Servers are cute, young girls who are super sweet and friendly. Atmosphere is cool with sports memorabilia and several large TVs to watch the games. Monday nights pizzas are on special. Also they run a Kids Pizza 101 class for the little ones certain Saturdays. Kids get to make their own pizza for only the cost of the pizza. Try it!

This is a small pizza/sports bar type place connected to Dolce Vita. I have gotten carry out as well as dined in– service and the food is very good. They have a few different craft beers on tap, which is a plus for my beer-snob husband. However, I can admit that I’ve only gone in during«off peak» hours, so I can’t speak to what the Friday night rush service looks like. However, going in on a Tuesday afternoon won’t be an issue :)

I just recently moved into the area and was looking for a sports bar type of atmosphere. This is a family friendly place, but also had lots of flat screens and a nice bar selection. The coal fired pizza was amazing– the crust was great and perfectly crisped. The buffalo chicken tenders had good flavor but could have been cooked a tad bit longer. I also ordered the grilled chicken wrap which was bland and the chicken was dry. However, the pizza was exceptional and this will be an establishment we will frequent often when we want pizza.

This is a pizza bar type of establishment and I found the pizza to be excellent. There are a lot of Italians in Monroe so if you can’t find good pizza in Monroe… I don’t know where you could. This place is very good.

Food is good here, but sometimes I just leave aggravated because some of their waitresses don’t like to do their job at all. If I’m lucky enough to get someone who cares about their job, I have the perfect meal. The owner and manager is super friendly and the atmosphere is extremely nice along with their daily specials. All in all, I would recommend this place and will keep going.

The pizza at Nick & Nino’s is a bit thin for my taste. I prefer a little more crust to my pizza. If you prefer it thin, you’ll probably love it. The turkey club sub is OK and very filling. They put lots of chopped bacon on it, so if that’s not your thing be sure to order it without. The fold over style of bread works well. The chicken soft tacos are pretty good, although a bit spicy. Three large tacos come with fries and is enough to fill me up. They come with melted cheese on top rather than the typical shredded cheese, which I find to be a nice touch. Lots of televisions in here, so it’s a good place to go to watch a game with a few caveats. One is that it’s small and poorly laid out, so you might not have a great view of a TV playing the game you’re looking for. A second issue I’ve had — and this could have been a random occurrence — was one night while watching the Wings game, they turned the TVs off with less than 30 seconds to go with the Wings just taking a time out so they could turn the place into a «dance club» at 10pm. Not only is the place not really suited for that in my opinion, I don’t see why they couldn’t leave one TV on the game. I was told that the gentleman who blew me off and shrugged about it when I questioned this was the manager, so that’s why I will be rating this establishment only 3 stars.

Unfortunatly I can only give 4 and not 5 because the services sucks! I LOVETHEFOOD. My family knows Tony and this is one of his best restaurants, however he hires cute girls who look good in tight shorts and well their waitressing skills are pretty lacking. They try hard, but God blessed them with being cute, not being good at listening, remembering orders, or being quick. That said the food is AWESOME! Sometimes I find it a bit over priced but if you use coupons or go for some of their deals it’s worth it. Their pizza is top notch, best crust good sauce, etc. I love the Gio bread, the garlic knots, anything pizza-like. They have good bread for their sandwiches too. You can’t order something bad.
