Even by food court standards I did not enjoy this place. I got the 2 piece combo with jalapeño and sesame chicken and half noodles half rice. The sesame chicken consisted of weird ground chicken and seemed very unnatural. The noodles and rice did not have a lot added into them and were very bland. The only plus was that the water cups are huge bubble tea containers. Next time I’d go for the pizza or cheesesteak instead.

I think 3 stars is reasonable for this place. It could be 3.5 stars. It is in the mall. Staff is not very friendly, but the food was actually pretty good and is a good alternate to Panda express which is right across from it. We did notice you get a larger portion than from Panda.

I love this place. We go to the mall just to grab dinner there. The bang bang chicken with some steamed rice is great.

Yeahhhh. I agree that there are few dishes on the menu that seem Thai to me(a non-Thai person), and seem more Chinese to me(a non-Chinese person). Sort of disappointing, because I might have gone out to lunch somewhere had I not been excited about Thai Food In The Mall Right Here Right Now. That said, I got a one item bowl with half fried rice half chow mein on the bottom, with tofu vegetables on top. It was not great, but it was fine. The tofu was like tofu-skin, like inari at a Japanese restaurant(I’m also a non-Japanese person, btw). The veggies were primarily cabbage, but it was kind of good cabbage. I put some hot sauce and soy sauce on it. It was a ton of food for about $ 5. Kept me fueled for a couple of hours of good shoppin. I’m really not sure if it would be better or worse than the Panda Express: It truly depends if the Panda Express is particularly good or not. But it’s kind of cute in there, and the staff was friendly, and I liked my seat at the edge of the food court watching the shoppers.

This joint is a Chinese takeout pretending to be a Thai food place. Almost all items on the menu don’t taste like anything of Thai foods. In fact, they taste more like Chinese cheap-quality takeout stuff, which you’d get from across the hall at Panda Express. So, unless there’s no other place in the world you could pad your tummy, don’t spend your money here. You’ll regret it like my wife and I did.

You made my daughter physically ill. The chicken curry tasted and looked like fish. Staff claims it wasn’t but chicken doesn’t flake. Thanks too for not offering another entrée or a refund. Didn’t matter if you would’ve. After just a few bites, she spent the rest of the day nauseous. Awesome.

If I could select zero stars I would. Complete disgusting bad imposters. Could not find one single authentic Thai dish. It’s fake Thai and embarassingly bad. It’s 100% pure Chinese food. Why would they market themselves as Thai? I have no clue. Chinese fast food mall places generally do just fine. Here a sample of their misrepresentation: What they said What it was Panang beef Broccoli Beef I’m not kidding. There was no panang curry or coconut milk. It was broccoli beef. Thai BBQ chicken Mandarin chicken Thai BBQ chicken is usually marinated in a yellow curry seasoning similar to Satay. This was BBQ chicken but sat in sweet teriyaki type sauce. Thai mango chicken Orange chicken Bang bang chicken General Tso chicken I mean on and on. Now to be fair. I did not eat here. I refused to. They gave me samples of everything I asked for(the above) and when I realized, which was fairly quickly, that this was Chinese food. I was literally mad they called themselves Ruby Thai Kitchen. WTF!!! So of course I looked at the Asian lady behind the counter and asked her. Are u sure this is panang beef. She smiled nodded her head yes. I said that looks like broccoli beef. She smiled said yeah it looks like that but it’s Thai panang. Once I peeled myself off the ceiling. I calmly informed her that I was Thai(mother) and this is absolutely NOT Thai food. She turned red, we smiled and I walked away, much like I think u should too… if u want Thai food. If u want Chinese food… then Bön appetite.

This place sucks. So disappointed with the quality of food. Ordered a spicy beef noodle soup. Paid almost $ 8 for a small bowl of plain soup. Will never eat here again!

This place is probably the best option in the Vintage Faire Mall’s very tiny food court! It’s directly across from Panda Express, and the two places are VERY similar, but I seemed to like Ruby Thai more because of the delicious food and helpful staff! The staff basically lets you sample anything you want. Upon entry, I was given a sample of their lemon chicken. I then asked to sample their mango chicken and honey shrimp. The lemon was definitely my favorite out of the three, and what I ended up ordering! It was sweet and tangy and very delicious! The mango chicken looked almost exactly the same but had a more subtle taste. The honey shrimp was decent, but the sauce was slightly thicker than I was used to and I don’t think I liked it as much. TIP: They charge 25 cents for a water cup, but I would say it was worth it because they give it to you in the same cups they use for the fountain sodas! :) The seating area was very clean and also had some nice Asian artwork on the walls! Overall I would definitely recommend dining at Ruby Thai Kitchen if you’re looking for a good place to eat at in the food court!

First off, the staff is so wonderful! They always ask if you want more samples, so I end up trying pretty much everything before I choose. Choosing what to get is rather difficult, too, because everything tastes so damn good! I usually go with the Mango Chicken and some other assortment of food. Don’t hesitate to eat here! I prefer it so much over Panda Express, especially over the one in the Vintage Faire Mall.

Stopped by to try this place out seeing as how it is kind of new. Got the Pad Thai and orange chicken. The noodles were very good with lots of peanut flavor. The orange chicken was very good and what I got was all white meat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, place was nice and clean and someone was always there to clean up after the people who didn’t know where the(in plain sight) trash can was. Good prices, service was very fast. Definitely a good place for a quick bite when in a hurry.
