We were staying from out of town in Modesto and after speaking to some locals, we agreed to have dinner at Fuzio’s. I’m glad we went because our food was amazing! I was wanting a simple pasta with tomatoes and olive oil and they satisfied that craving. My bf had the steak with potatoes and asparagus, he said it was the best meal he’s had in awhile. We were so happy with our food and service that we went back the following day for lunch and again… very delicious! The chicken/bell pepper flatbread with thyme fries was SO very good. I wish we had a Fuzio’s in Bakersfield!

The food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait! I got a chicken pasta and my friend got a flat bread pizza, both delicious. Also the cocktails are pretty good! I would go for happy hour if you’re looking for a good deal.

Fuzio Bistro is my favorite place downtown. I love their shrimp pasta, calamari, flat bread pizzas, cocktails. The waitresses are always nice and pleasant. Sitting at the bar and watching them cook is my fav.

Very disappointing! Having a guest from the bay area, I wanted to show a nice place here in the valley, and it turned out to be an embarrassment. We walked in asked for a table for two. hosted says, «everything is busy, but if you like u can go on the bar, and to a center table that was pointed to us. She allowed us to sit and stay long enough to look at the menu. Afterwards, she comes to tell us that the table was reserved. What awful hosting skills!

The setting was nice. Not too fancy. The pizza was very delicious. The fries were good but not out of this world like some people say on here. The burgers were not as delicious as the pizza but they were good. The customer service was on top of things(seating, orders, drinks, etc) and very friendly. Overall a good experience For the price on the food items if I have to pay that much I’d choose to go somewhere else. unless I want pizza.

Food was good. Despite the long wait the ambiance and location are unbeatable. Perfect dinner + movie date choice considering it’s across the street from the movie theater.

The food is delicious, the service was amazing! Our waitress was very kind and attentive the entire time. The venue is beautiful, you can watch the chefs prepare meals from every table with fire flaming from the grill. The bar area is a nice place to hang out with friends, and the food comes in really good size servings! My waitress had a refill of soda waiting for me when I had finished mine. Now that is incredible! Wait is long so I recommend reservations! Also the menu has many different options, all are amazing! Even for kids, there French fries are to die for!

Often hard to rate things when the food and service differ in ratings and/or things change during the meal. We chose to eat outside on a lovely evening. Manuel was our server — super pleasant and helpful with menu selections. Service started out super — and then went down hill as more diners came. Bottom line — there was not enough staff. Manuel had our table outside, he had inside tables, AND was serving a group of 20 in a banquet room(and that room, our table, and kitchen were not at all in close proximity!!!) Manuel was VERY pleasant and never complained — he always had a smile. We went VERY long periods without seeing anyone(even to refresh our drinks!) The menu had a variety of food — seafood, chicken, steak, pasta(including whole wheat!), and they work to customize your order. That night they had a roasted red pepper soup — it was outstanding. I do think the service was 5 star at the beginning and would have stayed that way if there had been adequate staffing. Food was good — and yes, as others have shared the wait is LONG.

Amazing food, amazing martinis, amazing happy hour, great service! Devyn makes a mean Watermelon Itch(martini)…it’s like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. And the spring rolls and lettuce wraps on the app menu rival the best out there! Second time here and will definitely be back next time we’re in Modesto.

Maybe they are better for dinner dining in. But don’t order to go. * I have to rate this business with a better review now! It takes so much just to get anyone to care or acknowledge unhappiness with any aspect of their experience. Management here seems to care! That is a sign that a restaurant deserves your business. I did go back in for a lunch special and it was very tasty. I haven’t ordered food to go again, but when I did order, I ordered calamari appetizer and a pasta dish. I live 4 min away from the restaurant, so it was the lack of flavor in the pasta dish, and the calamari had become soggy very quickly in the to go box. These are things that are hit and miss. But now having dined in, I know the food if pretty good for the lunch special. Its also clean and in a fun location. *thank you for responding and the great second experience !

Happy hour appetizers were good enough to make us stay for dinner. It was really nice this evening so sitting outside was awesome. Service was a little slow but the food was good, The drinks were great I had the Fuzio’s martini and it was very refreshing.

Just had another wonderful experience at Fuzio. Our food came fast and was delicious. We wanted an espresso martini which is no longer on the menu but Cindy made it for us anyway and it was AMAZING.(Better than Galleto) The manager came over to make sure everything was up to par and we were happy with our experience, the staff is always so friendly, making Fuzio one of our favorite spots to grab some food, and awesome drinks.

Disclaimer: We were comped our meals(without asking) because of the horrible service, but I feel like the food was still less than desirable so this review is still of value. Come here only if you have a lot of time to kill. The restaurant was pretty empty, but we decided to eat at the bar because we wanted a more casual setting. There were a couple people sitting at the bar, and only two other tables had customers, so again… pretty empty. My friend and I order drinks when the server came over. No problems. When she came back with our drinks we were ready to order. I am always nervous when a server doesn’t write the order down, and this night would be no different. We ordered an appetizer and two meals.(I requested my salad have the dressing on the side and no salami, my friend didn’t have any special requests). After about a half hour after ordering, we realized the table behind us that had six people and sat down after we ordered had received their food already! When we flagged down our server, she said that we ordered an appetizer that took a long time to make and an entrée that takes a long time to make, and that she put them in separately so that we’d get the appetizer first. She said that she didn’t realize we were in a hurry. Hurry? We’d been in the restaurant 45 minutes and all we’d received so far is a mediocre appetizer(more on that later). It wasn’t that we were in a hurry, it is that if you know that we ordered things that take a while, and then choose to stack the orders, couldn’t you have let us know? It would have been NOPROBLEM! Our server, without prompting, said that she’d comp our meals for the trouble. My guess is that she forgot to put in our entrée orders after putting in the appetizer and that is why she comped our meals so quickly. We asked for more bread to go with the appetizer cheese dip while we waited and she asked if it were ok if it wasn’t toasted, so that they could get it out to us quick. Yes! Fine! It still took 15 minutes for the sliced bread to arrive at the table. Over an hour after first sitting down, we finally got our dinner. Yay!!! And of course, my salad was sopping with dressing and they hadn’t even put the blue cheese on it. Boo!!! The one good thing is that they remembered to not put the salami on it, but it was inedible because of how much dressing was on it. When I mentioned this to our server(our meal already been comped, I just wanted to bring it to her attention) she said they don’t usually put the crumbled blue cheese on the salad when you ask for the dressing(balsamic… btw, whats the correlation?!) on the side. When I reiterated that the dressing was not actually on the side, she offered to remake it. No way! I’m not waiting another hour for my food! The baked garlic brie wasn’t very good. We only finished it because we were waiting so long for our meals and we were starving. And it wasn’t a baked brie like you’d imagine, it was just a ramekin of gooey cheese. Not sure why this was the appetizer that takes the longest to make. But if it takes 15 minutes to get sliced bread, it must take a really long time to toast the crostinis it comes with. I can’t give an accurate review of my chopped salad because balsamic is so tart and there was so much of it, i couldn’t taste anything else. Which is a shame because on paper it sounded delicious. My friend’s chicken entrée(we are guessing this is the other«takes a long time» entrée considering I ordered a salad) was decent, but she admitted definitely not worth the wait. By the time we left, the restaurant and bar were both pretty busy. Our server seemed stretched thin. But this is no excuse for such shoddy service. Especially since it wasn’t busy when we arrived and initially ordered.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. Tonight my husband and I went to have dinner after a meeting we attended, we walked in and there were many employees, waiters and waitresses we had to go and ask if we are to seat ourselves the waitress seats us and not one person came to take our drink or food order, they passed us looked at us and even talked with each other about whose table was it and they continued talking. Nobody helped us we sat there and nobody helped us we got up and we walked out. Very very bad service. I wish I could take that one star off!!!

Good drinks. Scallops and risotto were cooked properly. Lots of bold flavors. Portion sizes were big. Went and sat on the patio when there was a live band playing outside. Good friendly service.

Tasty. I came for lunch and got a cheeseburger with thyme fries. The burger was def well done like I asked. It was a little salty though. Other than that it was tasty and a lot of meat on a brioche bun which is always good. I couldn’t finish it. The fries were shoestring fries… but like shoestrings on a infants shoe. Lol they were so thin It took like 4 of them to equal the thickness of a regular fry. They were good though. I ordered to go but it looks pretty family friendly. I would return but I’m not crazy about burgers so I wouldn’t get that again.

Came in for a quick lunch. The restaurant looked really clean and well up kept with a bar and a dining area inside as well as a couple of patios. I was promptly seated, attended to, and placed my order in no time. Deciding to try the Potato Leek soup as well as the Grilled Chicken and Red Pepper Panini I went for the lunch special and got both. The order came out really quickly and since a picture is worth a thousand words, I enclosed one below. The soup was actually very good, if albeit a bit salty. It had a very nice creamy texture and balanced potato and leek flavors. As for the panini, I am almost lost for words. It was basically two greasy, undercooked pieces of flat bread with a thin slice of chicken and a few strips of red pepper along some sautéed onions. It was, messy, oily, and just overall unpleasant. Before trying lunch, I was considering this place for dinner, but since then I have strongly reconsidered.
