I would give it zero stars but Unilocal won’t let me :(left my PS4 system for 2 weeks and never got fixed I finally decided to just pick it up… the man at the store said the HDMI on the system was an easy common fix and I would have it back 3 – 5 days…2 weeks later I decided to pick up my system because i kept getting the same answer when I called to get status «it should be ready in 2 – 3 days» I the guy at the store said that because I canceled the fixing process i would forfeit my deposit (which was $ 50!) I told him that his min deposit was $ 20 and that was all he was allowed to keep! He said that he did not have the $ 30 to return to me and to come back 3 – 4 days later… apparently they don’t make enough people to carry $ 30! VERY Bad customer service!

Just went here with my friends, and we had an amazing experience! The young man running the store looked up the prices of games so we knew they were fair offers. He was very friendly and offered wonderful customer service. He tested all of the games we were interested in, tested my console before I bought it, and made sure the dvds were all in their cases. I’m definitely going back!

Came in not sure what to expect based off previous reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many games and such a nice guy who is there to assist you with testing the games out before you buy. He tries to make sure the price is market fair when he sells which I can understand as the market does fluctuate a bit. Like the quality assurance and trade in policy. My friends and I will be back.

I give this place a 4 star, why not a 5. Games prices can be a little high. They do have a huge collection and even carry games that are hard to come by unless you look in amazon or eBay. It is nice to see the games in person to see if they are in good condition. I purchased some games and a couple of consoles from them and they worked great, except for 1 that just needed better connector which they replaced with no problem. Games they carry are from NES, Super Nintendo, Game Cube, N64, Wii, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, Playstation 1,2,3, and they also have the consoles and many handheld games gameboy, gameboy advance, 3ds, psp too many to name here. Check it out, do not let the outside appearance fool you.

Wish I could write a review for this place. We walked over today at 1pm and they were closed. The posted hours say they are open 12 to 6 Monday through Saturday and the open sign was on. We called and the pre-​recorded message also said they were open. If the disgusting exterior wasn’t enough to turn us away, the locked door most certainly was.

The outside of the establishment looks dirty and sloppy… and so did the fella that worked there but I heard it was a good place… well my son, who is Autistic, went in there to buy a game using his Christmas money. We live out of town and happen to be in town at the time… and left home right after. When we get home, his game was broken, cracked in the center… and NO receipt was given to him at the time of purchase… ALSO he paid $ 25 for a game that costs $ 15 at GameStop… so LESSON LEARNED! Now we have to drive 90 miles to exchange his game for a working one… hate to say it… the guy says he will honor the purchase by replacing it… but we want a refund since we have to drive all the way back to Modesto AND my son says he actually checked the disk prior to ringing it up… This place is a NO GO… save your money and go to GameStop… Well, he agreed to replace the game but when we asked for a refund he said «NO» and we asked him to match the price and he said, «NO…I am not WalMart, I don’t price match»…he is ripping off an autistic kid using his own Christmas money to pay for a game… they do not make them lower than this guy… steer clear of this rip off artist.

This place is ok. Not too bad of a collection. Actually impressed by the amount of consoles they had available. It looked like they had a number of sega saturns which I don’t see all that often. Pretty much filled from wall to wall with games.
Only thing that will keep me from coming back is they seem to have a standard price for all returns on games. They don’t consider rarity or demand for any games you try to trade in. I think when I went the price per game was $ 3. They also have a restriction on some games you can’t trade for.
Also many of the prices on their games were pretty overpriced. Now I know that businesses need to make money but $ 10 for brain age for the DS is a little bit much if you ask me.
It makes me sad running into these stores because they have a pretty decent collection but they’re not going to sell much because their prices are marked up too high. Id want to come back cos they seem pretty nice here but I can’t roll with the prices. I’m cheap haha. I guess until I find a good retro gaming spot in Modesto I’ll be on eBay.
