If i wrote a review back in 2012. I would tell you how outstanding, helpful, laidback, and patient the employees were. This place was packed with customers going in and out. I’ve recommended many friends and family to check out their selection of hookah, and tabacco products.
Now two years later, somewhere along the line things went sour. Partially rude, not helpful, impatient, and uncomfortable vibes radiate from employees. The customers seem to have declined dramatically (possibly the not so welcoming greetings, and lack of patients?)
I often miss the greetings from past employees, and owner which made me feel very welcomed and comfortable to have a look around at the new selections of tabacco and other new items. Even carrying out simple conversations are a thing of the past.
The owner, and his wife are very down to earth and friendly. I’ve always enjoyed visiting this little smoke shop, so im not going to say to avoid checking out house of stylez, and because of my opinion of employees, as times do change.
Therefore, visit house of stylez it’s the best smoke shop I’ve found. (I’ve been all around modesto) they have hookah tabacco varying from the bottom to top (imo) starbuzz, fantasia, social smoke, fumari. Coals such as cocobuzz, coconara, exoticas, and other quicklights. Eye candy glass peices, hookahs, and too much for me to illistrate.

Miguel (I probably spelt that wrong) was my piercer for my tongue. He was friendly and the store seemed clean!

I Love House of Stylez… They have very friendly staff. I recently went to get a tattoo n it looks awesome :)…n also i get all my piercings there n now I’ll be getting all my tattoos there too. The staff makes you feel welcome they are amazing :)

I recently came back here with a friend to get my septum pierced, my friend got her nose pierced. They mover into a way nicer location on mchenry by target. It used to be really expensive for a piercing in Modesto but they dropped the prices down to 20 or 25 with jewelry! I forgot which it was haha. It’s very inexpensive now which is great! I had gonzo pierce me. I got my septum done and it hurt but I was expecting wayyyy worse. I love house of stylez! Gone get all my piercings here!
