Good job guys. Fast two drive thru service. Always friendly. Good coffee. I like the little booth and small independant business. Would just like to see a menue better displayed and easier to read before you get to window. Might help u guys get more business in the crazy busy morning hours. Maybe a clearer enrty to window. I know that small lot is hard to direct customers but if u can crack the code i be able to stop more often

I had a hot Milky way. Problem is it wasn’t hot, it was cold. Maybe because it was free. I’m not quite sure. It was my first time trying this location. My Mom had one of there rewards cards and filled up and gave me her free one. Bummed it tasted awful and was cold.
The customer service was awesome, but I’m thinking it’s not gonna make up for a cold drink. Super bummed. Owell, on to the next…

The espresso is great and wonderful service. The drive through is quick and convent. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I go here close to every day for my Monkey Mocha fix. Every other week or so I get a free one, since they have a 10-​drink loyalty card. The baristas get to know you, and they’re always pleasant. Love the two-​sided drive-​thru, the cute little solar toys that change all the time at the windows, and the fact that this is a locally owned coffee stop that was here way before Starbucks came to Modesto. They also have many more syrup flavored — in sugar-​free too — available. And protein boosters. But I always get a Monkey Mocha, because it’s just that good!

Got a large black French roast coffee. Very watery. I wasn’t expecting espresso but this was pretty weak. McDonalds has better plain black coffee. I used to wait in line here but both windows were vacant at 6:50 am. The service was very good and it sounded like they were having fun inside. I’ll have to try their espresso next.

Always good coffee… Great service and fresh blueberry muffins! I prefer them to Starbucks any day, even if it takes alittle longer to get to work. So worth it. Only problem is I wish I would have tried it sooner.

The coffee at this place is literally the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had A LOT of coffee in my 21 years of life. Get the cappuccino chill or an iced americano. Their espresso is to die for. Service is great AND I’m due for my free drink! Support local businesses like this one. They deserve it.

I prefer Giacomo’s over any other coffee in town. The chocolate whipped crème is to-​die-​for! My fave is the Giacomocha — you can get it hot or as a Chill (blended). So good! I love the Buy 10, Get 1 Free card too :)

I moved out of town 4 months ago & tonight found myself back so I couldn’t resist a visit to my favorite coffee stop. Yup! They still remember my drink & as always, it was perfect! Thank you to the crew!

Giacomo’s is awesome!!! The staff is always friendly, on Friday’s they usually do a theme day where the workers dress up, they have stamp cards where you buy 10 drinks and the next one is free. They have almond and soy milk, chai, and for the non-​coffee lovers there is tea and delicious smoothies. They are VERY reasonably priced as compared to other big chain coffee places. They can make any drink hot, iced, or blended. The blended drinks are called chills and are the smoothest drinks ever, last but not least they have flavored whipped cream! They always have vanilla and chocolate, and whatever the days special is they do a whip cream flavor associated with that drink. Would highly recommend and encourage anyone who is looking for a locally run business and great coffee to give them a try!!!

My husband and I are totally hooked on this place When were out and about depending on what part of Town we can’t resist we’ll go out of our way to get a great coffee– their on Senic & Dale RD. They are the Best!

So yummy and reasonable plus there stamp system is awesome. I use to go everyday when I lived in Modesto mmmmm. super convenient and very fast service. Everyone was friendly at the one on Scenic Dr. The people that worked at the other location were very rude.

I love that they serve Almond Milk: D Soo delicious!

Tried Giacomo’s for the first time and was extremely impressed! Exceptional service! I had an Iced Milky Way and it was fantastic! I will most definitely be coming back!

I work near this location so I sometimes drop by for some coffee before heading to work. It is cheaper than Starbucks although I don’t know how much you can customize your drink since some are already pre-​blended. I always order a 24oz cappuccino chill ($ 3.75). They also have different flavors of whipped cream everyday so that’s a plus. When you buy 10 drinks, you get one free, so don’t forget to ask for your stamp card. Also, if you buy 5 drinks in one transaction, they still count that as 5 drinks, not like Starbucks where I have to pay and swipe for each drink separately.

Less expensive and WAY better tasting choices over those at $tarbuck$. Great frequent buyer rewards program = free drinks! Never a long wait in the drive-​thru, get in and then get on with your day! Friendly staff, great prices and speedy service!

I’ve been going there for year and I believe they are WAY better than Starbucks and cheaper. I’ve never had a messed up order. I always order the hot chocolate and plain bagel which they get from Bagel Land on McHenry every morning. LOVE the bagels. My mom continues to go there now since its on her way to work. Service is usually really good… every great once in awhile I get a weird vibe from the workers but other then that it’s all good.

Love love coming here. Aside from it being super close to my house, this place is wonderful. Prices are great, a lot cheaper than you know where but without compromising quality. Their scones are to die for and the staff is always very friendly. They even give my dog a treat if he is in the car with me. Can’t say enough good things about Giacomo’s.

This place is alright, but I think the raving reviews below are ludicrous.
I used to go here alllll the time growing up, and by that I mean for about a four year period during high school (currently halfway through college)…and I must say, their customer service and quality of drinks are totally variable and range from horrid to great. One time, I had a FLY in my drink. YES, a FLY!
WTH?
I hope sanitation agents inspect this joint.
I like the drive thru (it’s really the only option unless you walk up — which I imagine would be hella embarrassing!) as an idea, but when there’s a back-​up of cars this is a reality turned nightmare. Sometimes, they get out and ask you what you’d like, but I don’t know, I’m not that impressed.
You can also tell that their drinks are totally packaged/​premixed etc. The «chill,» which is a machine (just like a 7eleven slurpee machine, and any standard icee machine at Target or a PARK) often breaks down, esp in the summer months. It will cost you $ 4.00 for that large.
And oh, you say you don’t want whipped cream? you’ll get it anyway. The workers here are idiots and often mess up drinks. I’d say that they have an accuracy rate of about 50% (and that is a generous estimate). Still, when their drinks ARE made correctly (again not a dependable phenomenon), they are quite alright. If only they could achieve some consistency and significantly amp up their customer service and drink quality (and sanitation!) standards. THAT would be the day.

Let me up the star ratio here. Giacomo’s definitely deserves the five I’m giving them.
People, back away from the Starbucks, I realize the hype of the corporate giant has made most people oblivious to the wonders of mom & pop coffee shops but please… try to frequent these gems at least half the time so we can keep our coffee options open!
Call me biased if you want to (my husbands sister works there) but, since I started going to Giacomo’s when she started working there well over a year ago, I have not been disappointed once. And, since I work downtown and take Scenic to work everyday, (if I’m not running late) it is very convenient to drive through for a beverage, and is one way to make my morning more pleasant (as I am SOOO not a morning person).
My favorite winter time beverage is a large white chocolate mocha with three shots of espresso. Four shots is overkill… I learned that the hard way.
Recently, Laura (my sister in law) suggested I try a smoothie so she made me a strawberry lemonade smoothie which was so good I got one the following morning too.
I suggest giving this place a shot.
At least do it for the children will you? When they grow up and become frazzled businessmen and women, they are going to need their legal buzz in the morning. I’d prefer my future spawn to have a choice.
