I have been in a lot of Travel Centers of America. This one was spic and span right down to the bathrooms. It was in the middle of nowhere practically, but it had a convenience type store that caters to truckers, fuel center, restaurants, showers, and a fitness room. There could have been more that I didn’t catch, but it seemed to have pretty much anything you could want for a quick stop. There were not a lot of gluten free options in the convenient store, but they did stock cheese, sausages, cups of fruit, and things like that to hold you over. The employees were friendly and helpful. They seemed to stay busy with customers and general cleaning. I would recommend stopping here for fueling, food, and more.

Closest thing to a Dennys in mocksville, food is good, the all you can eat breakfast meals are great, its not a buffet style, not everything they cook has grease involved, we enjoy it more now under new management,

I pumped $ 55 worth of unleaded into my SUV. I needed a printed receipt for company reimbursement. The pump printed out a blank receipt. I pulled my vehicle into a parking spot and I went inside. – One register was open, two people were behind the counter — neither of whom knew how to smile or interact with the general public. – I spent ten minutes waiting at a single register for a receipt. The GM begrudgingly printed a receipt out for me without uttering one solitary word. – My impressions after leaving were that these people were ONLY courteous to truck drivers. – There are MANY other gas stations in the area, including Shell stations. – I tend to go where my business is appreciated, which isn’t this place.
