TownePlace Suites Mobile

First visit here, so I hope this wasn’t typical. First thing I should have requested to be in the main building with the fresh coffee. You can put as many coffee makers in my room as you want, but I refuse to use one.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast area, there was no eggs or sausage for a solid 15 minutes, no one from the kitchen came out to check, it was only after someone complained that the eggs showed up. While on the subject of the breakfast area is there was only 3 or 4 tables to sit at, you’ve got two building that are 3 stories tall there’s going to be a bunch of hungry people there. Yes, every room has a kitchen but in the morning it’s time to get up and out to work.
I’ll try it again since it’s convienient to where I need to be in Mobile.

I love this hotel. I booked it without reading any reviews and then read the reviews and was worried. I originally got the room because of the online pics and because of the kitchenette. I’m in Mobile for 10 days on a business trip and a girl can only eat out so much before it gets tiring. After reading the reviews I thought about canceling the reservation but ended up keeping it. Boy was I happy I did! The place was spotless, the bed is SO comfortable, pillows are very fluffy, the ac works amazing!, bathroom, kitchen and fridge were spotless! Their breakfast bars is a huge help! They have cereal, hot oatmeal plus fixings, bagels, toast, eggs, sausage, fruit, milk, OJ, coffee, water, juice and yogurt. I love it! I was looking for a place with a gym, not only do they have their own fitness center BUT they also have an agreement with a gym near by that allows you to use their facility for staying at this hotel! I have checked them out and it is huge and fully equipped. I love that they have washer/​dryers onsite ($ 1) per load and the staff has all been more than friendly and welcoming! I have already booked my next 10 day stay while in Mobile ahead of time and will most definitely stay here again! I do recommend it and would say this has got to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I also wanted to add that in staying in one of the studio rooms and the room looks identical to the pics online!

Nice hotel in a good location. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants and highway.

Since this was the only hotel that we found to have a full kitchen and separate bedrooms we chose this hotel to stay for a day.
The Good
— Has a full kitchen
— Good location, very close to big mall
The Bad
— Doesn’t have a full breakfast, it’s a grab ‘n’ go breakfast with pre packed muffins and cereals
— Reasonably clean only, worn and dirty carpet, sticky floor. Clean linen though.
— In need of a major overhaul
— Doesn’t have a lot of kitchen utensils, only gives a miserable pot
Overall
I’m surprised Marriott still allows the property to carry it’s brand name. Needs to be majorly renovated. Try other hotels instead.

Stayed at this property from ¹²⁄₅ to 12÷21÷13 while traveling on business. There were several housekeeping failures: multiple times they took the used towels/​bathmat but did not leave replacements. The same with soap and shampoo. Ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night only to discover that they had not replaced the «reserve» roll under the sink that I had to use the previous week. They only vacuum once a week. The toilet was constantly clogging. I used the guest laundry once and I needed assistance from the staff twice to deal with faulty machines. On Wed ¹²⁄₁₈ a guy came knocking at the door, said he was the exterminator and comes by every 6 months to spray the rooms, (while a guest has their stuff in the room, really?). You get better housekeeping at a motor-​lodge than this place. The breakfast consists of some pre-​packaged cereals and individually wrapped muffins, definitely not what I would expect for a business travel hotel. I have to be in Mobile for an additional 4 week after the first of the year, you can be assured I will not be staying here

I am giving them a two for the eew factor of their room.
I stuck to the bathroom floor.
The room felt dirty to me.
Not what I expect from a Marriott.
The morning staff was very friendly…
