I get a cake from here every year. I usually just walk in and get a premade cake, this years cake was pre ordered and horrid! First time I went order the cake they were closed for renovation. I still decided to wait until they reopened because the i loved the previous cakes and had never been disappointed. BIG MISTAKE! The icing just slid off no stops where made 10 minutes from the bakery to my house and when I opened the box this was what I got. I’ve emailed the company and have not received a response.
I’m highly upset because I begged for my cake to this bakery, literally. Cake was delicious but the customer service was disgusting; cashier treated me as if I was causing her pain to order my cake. Sadly never again. My mom cried because she felt as if her money was wasted when all she wanted is an amazing cake for my birthday.

I love love love flour girls bakery! Had a golf themed cake made here and the design was awesome. The cake tasted even better! Pricing was reasonable & I love the staff. So sweet!

This place is Terrific!!! The cupcakes are heavenly! The ladies that run this place are really fun and sweet and I love that it opens at 9:00 am. I love going there for the cinnamon rolls which are THE BEST CINNAMON ROLLS I’VE EVER TASTED! THEY ARE HUGE!!! They are very reasonable and their cakes, cookies, butter cake balls, all are great!

Delicious cinnamon rolls!!! We love Flour Girls bakery and everything that they offer… Our favorites are, of course, cinnamon rolls, lemon squares, cupcakes, butter cake balls, …too much to list! Try it! And the ladies running it are a HOOT!

Always go to this place whenever we have birthdays at work because it’s right down the street. The cookies n cream is my FAVourite. The employees are always extremely nice and the cupcakes are of course delicious. Not much parking in the front but don’t be dismayed… There is more available space around the building. Definitely recommend a stop to grab one. Reasonably priced for a gourmet place like this starting at 1.75 a cupcake. They also have brownies, cakes, cake pops and more.

The cupcakes are the best in Mobile. The birthday cakes are gorgeous and delicious. I love the coconut cupcake.

She began baking cakes for people. Birthday etc. People encouraged her to go into business. This place is awesome. Cupcakes and pastries and oh my the brownies are fabulous. So far better that other «cucake places». If you need a special design, they can do it!

Cousin and his wife had their little girl’s first b-​day and used Flour Girls. Man o man that cake was incredible! Two tier with top being lemon and bottom as buttercream. Very impressed with the cake presentation and the quality of the cake was very much superior.

Thought the cupcakes were very moist and flavorful. The frosting wasn’t too sweet and I like that they don’t over frost. The price is excellent for the quality but I am disappointed by the lack of selection. They say they have special flavors but in reality the only make the same few flavors.

I had the butter cupcake with vanilla moose. The cupcake itself is very soft! The moose is a bit too thick and the frosting is a little too sweet for me. Sherri is super nice and I will try different kinds until I find the one I like!
There is a minimum of $ 10 for credit card use! If people don’t understand, credit card companies charge about 2−3% of sales and more if the credit card charge is less than a certain amount. Just bring cash if you don’t want to purchase $ 10 or more!!!
Other than that! This place is really cute! Cupcakes are small, costs about $ 1.50 plus tax.

The cupcakes are mostly good… not great but good. The prices are high for the size of the cupcakes, but the workers are sweet. I will say that I had a pecan pastry that was simply wonderful… better than cinnabon, but the prices will keep me away… I mean $ 99 for a sheetcake… no way

I’ve been a customer since before Sherrie opened Flour Girls as a store front. She is warm, funny, and you quickly become more than merely a customer.
Her cakes and cupcakes are to.die.for.delicious. To be fair, I tried a couple of other cupcake shops that recently opened in the area, and while one had tasty frosting, both other locations suffered from horribly dry cakes. At Flour Girls, those cupcakes are FRESH. They are moist, the fillings are divine, and her frostings are scrumptious. My favorite is the simple white frosting because of the tiny bit of crunch from larger sugar crystals.
Her shop has taken off, and there are some customer service issues that I consider minor but that may be off-​putting to people who haven’t had the benefit of a longer association with Sherrie. All I can say is that when you have her attention, you have her attention. Waiting in line patiently does wonders. People forget and feel all entitled to break in line and demand attention. Forget it. Her shop is too busy for that nonsense.
Get there early, or better yet, make a phone call and place an order. Her goodies fly off the shelves, so don’t wait if you want a treat. You won’t be disappointed.

I have only had the Red Velvet cupcakes here and they were really good. My main complaint with this bakery is that they charge a WHOLE dollar to use credit/​debit … and they don’t even take AMEX. If you are going to charge more than gas stations even charge to use credit cards, at least take them all.

Thankful they are close to home…
I have stopped by this location on Hillcrest Rd. across from the krispy kreme doughnuts place a few times… almost every time they are out of all the goodies…
Lucky for me this time I loaded up on their special cupcakes (posted pics) that are filled on the inside with a secret special cream type ingredient they call «crack». There is no place to really sit inside (not a date place like YOLO is). Cupcakes are lower priced $ than YOLO but taste GREAT! She uses butter in her icing not crisco. These are so fresh and yummy — just show up early before the case is empty!
Owner Sherrie is so friendly and fun to talk to. NOTE: there is a $ 1 service charge on your Debit and CC payments. So you may want to pay in $ cash or check.
