Best bacon we’ve ever had! Really — get the bacon. I’m not even a bacon person, but this bacon is THE bacon. The biggest flaw of this place is that it’s kinda pricey, but it’s a great location.

The atmosphere was the best thing about this place. It was very cute and very busy. My husband had an omelet which he liked. I did think the coffee was very good. I had the ginger pancakes with apple butter. They were tasty, but heavy and dry. The homemade apple butter was good and helped with the dry pancakes.

Great surprise for breakfast after a long day of riding. Had Swedish pancakes with bacon and both were excellent. Service was very good, staff was friendly and attentive. Two large heated patios make it so you are not waiting around for a table. Will return for sure next time we are in Moab.

Great breakfast place. Chorizo Benedict, traditional Benedict and the Swedish pancakes were great. Order the bacon! Good coffee. I’d go back for sure. Great outdoor patio.

Basic two eggs and bacon with potatoes. Nothing special except the price! Three times what it should have been.

Wow! What a great menu. We were going to go eat somewhere else but there was no parking. There is plenty of parking near here. The potatoes and extra side of «soul food bacon» were so flavorful. Great ambiance outside, perfect weather and nice staff. Highly recommend stopping here, open most days for breakfast only.

Came here twice on my Moab trip back in April. Both times, the food was quite delicious, and the bacon was thick and very good quality compared to the generic bacon at other places. When I go to Moab again, I will definitely be coming back here, even if its just for tons of bacon.

Good place overall. Very solid four star location. Coffee was good but not notable. Waffle was good but not notable. Eggs were done to perfection and exactly as ordered. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Only reason I won’t give them a 5 is the meal was quite expense, $ 36 for two eggs sunny side up, waffle, 2 sides of bacon, coffee and OJ.

A great surprise for breakfast. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The chorizo and eggs were very well made and the portions were designed for big people appetites. The sides and the salsas were also tasty. THIS should be your breakfast stop in MOAB not the other ones trying too hard or seriously too little.

This place was nothing short of awesome! I had the ginger pancakes… god, I will dream of them later. So amazing. I stuffed myself, and paid for it later when bike riding, but so worth it, I would do it again. My wife had the eggs benedict which she found delicious. It was a chilly morning, but they had a heated and covered patio which was really nice. The service was outstanding! Our waitress’ name was Wendy. Let me tell you she hustled! Every wait person in the US should take lessons from this woman. She WORKEDHARD, hustling up and down the aisles checking to make sure all patrons had coffee, water, that all was to their liking. She earned her tip.

When I was in Moab, on my last day before heading back out on the road, I stopped with my friend who is a local saying we need to try this place and the wait would be worth it.(It was Memorial Day, so it was understandably busy.) We put our name down and waited in the very nice waiting area outside that had a large tree and plenty of shade. One of the great things about this place is that it is JUST a breakfast place and like they say in the menu, «Why do something we’re not good at?» And they really do it well. The food was awesome and the menu is super simplistic. I am boring and got buttermilk pancakes, but boy were they great. I also got sausage patties in leau of bacon because they won’t let you order it as a side which will never stop baffeling me. They were just okay, basically the same kinds that you would get anywhere. One last thing was that there were blood spots on my napkin and I had to ask for a few one, a little worrying, but no big deal as they promptly replaced the napkin and the silverware.

Overpriced. 3 Swedish pancakes w lingonberry jam w/no additional sides for $ 11. Bacon or sausage is an additional $ 4. Nothing special to make them worth the prices. Omelette or eggs Benedict were better options but for anything else you’ll get more bang for your buck somewhere else. Our waitress was short and rude and we got sat inside right next to the cash register and silverware and it was loud and annoying.

This place is pretty cool! The omelet with mozzarella, tomatoes, pesto and added bacon was super good! Their pancakes were just ok, not really worth $ 10, and the thick cut side of bacon was great. Hot chocolate was good, but super rich. Fun atmosphere, nice waitress. Kind of expensive but definitely tell worth a try! Cool for people watching too. Closes Tuesdays.

The ginger pancakes with apple butter were outstanding(and HUGE might I add), and the coffee was incredible. Service was attentive, and it took almost no time at all to get my food.

I’m really surprised at the ratings this place has. I came here after a long hike to Delicate Arch. I was in the mood for something really tasty considering my big appetite after the hike. First I noticed that the prices here were slightly higher than most the places we had been eating at in Utah. I figured it must be better quality. I had the eggs florentine which I was pretty excited about. However, when the food came out, I was so disappointed. The eggs florentine were so bland. I had to add salt to my meal which I never do. The side potatoes came out cold and tasted like they were deep fried in vegetable oil that had been in the fryer for days. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone passing though.

This place is yummy, sweet, and in a great location. The seating room we were in was small but I liked it and felt almost like I was in a house. Everyone was really friendly. The Swedish pancake was so yummy and light and delicious. And it comes with a raspberry jam that compliments it well. My boyfriend ordered the Southwestern Eggs Benedict that had a nice bite to it, and the waitress was really good about refilling our coffee. Yay!

I was not impressed with the Jailhouse Café. The service was lousy and the food was average. Although we were seated right away, we waited more than 10 minutes before our waitress came over. More than 20 minutes later we finally had some food and what I thought would be a quick breakfast took almost an hour. Jailhouse Café serves breakfast only with some southwest flair on classics like Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine. The outside patio was pretty nice, mostly shaded and cool in the morning, but would be unpleasant on a warmer day. My breakfast was fine, but it was really nothing special. I had a traditional breakfast with two eggs over easy, fried potatoes, bacon and wheat toast. It was pretty good overall but nothing special. Not sure I would eat here again or recommend it. Jailhouse Café is certainly not deserving the flowing five star reviews that many others have given it.

This place… was awesome. I liked this place a lot for our 2 day stay in Moab. On our way out to Arches we stopped here for a solid breakfast. That’s exactly what we got. Plus, our waitress was very very friendly. I ordered the Chorizo scramble I believe it was called and it was great. Tasty with the jalapenos for sure. My wife ordered some eggs that came out perfect. We also ordered the Swedish pancakes as dessert and they were great. They weren’t too thick that it felt like eating an entire cake. They came with some loganberries(sp?) and it was great. All in all… this place was great. It would be a 5 star location for me if it were perhaps 5 – 10 dollars cheaper but I understand why it isn’t. I’d come back.
