So good. The closes thing to eating at mom’s house. I highly recommend the huevos rancheros plate for breakfast. The salsa is magical. To top it off it’s easy on the wallet.

Came based on other reviews. Not crowded at lunch at all. Had the lunch special: enchiladas suiza. Really good flavor. Staff VERY friendly. I can appreciate that I am mere miles from the border and I can imagine that to live/work here daily Spanish is a must. As a non Spanish speaking business traveler it was nice to have no language barrier. Many local eateries this isn’t the case. Just sayin.

Great food, great service, great prices. We brought a group of 20 here for lunch this week. We had called ahead to make sure they could handle us. They setup the tables ahead of our arrival. They have a chips and salsa bar that’s really good. We all ordered off the menu and I think everyone was happy with the food, the service and the cost. Of all the taquerias in the area, we feel we really found a gem!

We went to the place yesterday for lunch. The restaurant was not busy as described by other reviews. We found the food excellent and services was good also. They do now have English menus, we had to use Google translation to read the Spanish menu posted on Facebook.

Only tried the tamales but they were dry and didn’t have much meat at all. Taste was nothing special. Plus one star for friendly service and unlimited salsas.

Can life get any better than authentic home cooking at a restaurant? Tamales Y Mas will make you remember what comida casera is really about. Not only do they have authentic Mexican dishes but they also offer Tex-Mex dishes that will satisfy your cheesy cravings. From the mole to the American Enchiladas topped with fajita, to the Pozole, and then the tortas are fantastic, but so are the Mexican burgers, oh and the flautas –yum, and moving on to the sopes, and of course the tacos Reynosa are great, all the dishes are winners. And let’s not forget about the tamales, I prefer the pork, very tasty! The staff is friendly and overall the environment is family friendly and clean. They also have daily specials that include your drink for those of us that are budget conscious. And now this review has made me hungry, time for some menudo! YUM!!!

TYM recently expanded into the space next door… Much more open! Food is just as delicious as ever… My opinion its the best Mexican food and tamales in the valley. Oh yeah and they cater too. We had them provide all of the main dishes and sides for a large family get together recently — Very reasonable and very good! No stress on our family and easy clean up! Very well worth it!

Don’t let the small size fool you, this little place is a gem! Generous portions, very reasonable prices, and delicious food. The owners are great people who are there to deliver what the food and service they would love to have themselves. My parents and tried the Asado de Puerco, Tacos Reynas, Barbacoa & Posole. They have authentic mexican sodas and fresh made flan in the cooler waiting for you to try them. So good. I hope they expand to Dallas someday soon!

Tamales y Mas is my «go to» place for ordering tamales for the holidays! You can always count on them being delicious and their salsas are great as well! I have also tried their tacos a la plancha, gorditas, and pozole – yum!

If you want tasty and inexpensive eats this is definitely the place to go. Hands down the best tamales I’ve ever eaten. I’m a big fan of the cheese and jalapeño ones! I highly recommend the pozole and the huevos rancheros. They also serve barbacoa on Saturdays and Sundays. The barbacoa is out of this world! It’s not as greasy as some of the other ones that I’ve tried. This is authentic mexican food at it’s finest. I happen to be related to the owners/managers…lucky me.

The food here is as good as it gets and cheap. I tried several different dishes and they have all been some of the best Mexican eats I’ve ever had. The tacos de tripas were awesome! With some of the homemade salsa poured over the top mmmmm… my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I’m a big fan of menudo and barbacoa and although I didn’t order it, i did get to taste some of my friends and it was awesome. Also tried several kinds of tamales and they were far and away the best tamales I’ve ever had. The perfect ratio of masa to filling. We tried pollo, puerco, frijole y queso, jalapeño y queso, and my personal favorite pollo y queso. All of the ones we tried were amazing. The tamales are dangerous, once you start eating, it’s tough to stop until you’re stuffed. I’ll be getting my Xmas tamales from here. Delias are good, but Tamales y Mas are better, and waiting in line for two hours at Delias is ridiculous. Not sure if it’s a regular menu item or not, but they had a chicharron en salsa that was crazy delicious. It was almost like a cross between chicharrones and carnitias. Meaty delicious chunks of pork and soft tender strips of chicharron en the most delicious salsa ever. Get it if you can.
