Santora’s Pizza Subs & Wings

Not impressed. Usually the local restaurants I go to are great. Or at least decent. Not this one. The wings are tiny. Which, in turn, are overly priced because of how small they are. 18 bucks for 20 tiny wings. And they weren’t even spicy. The nachos were served to us with cold cheese on top. It looked like they microwaved the cheese on top and then let it sit for 20 min and then served it to us. The middle layer of nachos were soggy and falling apart. Not sure why… there was barely anything on them. And finally, they seemed understaffed. Our waitress was running food, maintaining the bar, and taking orders. So it took 20 minutes after we asked for our check to finally get it.
Not going back.

My husband and I honestly love coming here and enjoying wing night and a few cold beers. They have several tv’s around the restaurant, so if you’re there for a game you’re in luck. The wings come in different hotness levels and I cannot get to much crazier then the Hot sauce, they have a nuclear one I am a bit afraid of haha! They do get pretty busy on there promotion nights to make sure to get there before their rush because there isn’t really where to sit until there is a table ready.

Very good wings. The special on Wednesday is HUGE. Love going there for a huge portion. Cool atmosphere and pretty relaxed. The beer on tap is good, the service was quick and the wings were VERY hot (be careful). My gripe is you have to choose either blue cheese or ranch. I wish both was an option. I haven’t been there in a few weeks but I’m craving to go again. Plus one of the waitress’s has a huge rack. Thanks for reading! Rack you later ;)

If the wings weren’t on the smaller side Santoros would earn that extra star. If you’re a fan of a solid kick in spice with killer flavor get the extra hot. Dope Friday night scene for some classic rock and fire wings.

First time here, great wings and $ 1.50 tacos on Tuesday! Good tacos too! Staff is friendly and very attentive. We will be back!

We were planning on eating next door at one of my favorite burger spots, but decided on trying this place and having some wings and beer instead.
It has more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant and looks to be filled mostly with regulars. It has a divey feel, but also very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and throughout our time there.
While it was cold and drizzling outside, the restaurant was too warm for us. (We came after a hot yoga class). The outside seating area is covered and has heaters so we requested to sit out there. They were very accommodating even though no one else was outside.
The server and other staff checked on us often and I felt they did a great job of remembering we were out there.
It happened to be a Tuesday so they had a taco Tuesday special. I got some chicken and carne asada tacos and my daughter got their Buffalo wing chicken salad. I also wanted to try their wings to go along with my beer.
The wings were old school, with no breading, which I liked. They were crispy and had the perfect amount of buffalo wing sauce. I would go back just to have their wings again.
The tacos were tasty and my daughter enjoyed her salad so overall it was a good alternative to the burger from next door that I wanted.

Great local bar with good people. Been coming here since I moved into the area and keep coming back for the frosty beers on draft, the good cocktails, and tasty bar food. The taco Tuesday is super legit. Def stop in for some friendly service, jute box tunes and cold beverages.

I got a call from Kristy, the manager, following up on an earlier review, asking how they can improve upon my negative experience with Santoras. First time in as long as I have been on Unilocal that a company has done that.
The issue was that I was working a double shift, with no breaks or meals, and so I called at 2130 to place an order. They close at 2200, and no one picked up the phone. I tried a couple minutes later, same issue.
I found out that they are undergoing some changes, and were having phone issues at the time, particularly when it was busy, and no one could hear the ring. Their phone system integration has been addressed.
As I said in my original review, their food (particularly the wings) is great, and my ONLY issue with them over several years, was this one time. Because I was really impressed with Kristy’s effort to reach out, I decided to stop by today for lunch, and ended up staying much longer than expected.
Previously, I had only ever gotten takeout. This time, I stayed in, and had a great time talking with the others who were around me. With the upgrades that are in progress, I was really glad to see how opened up it looked. And the food was still great!

Great wings and a place that cares about its customers!

Been going here for years, hands down the best wings around. Highly recommend extra hot or nuclear hotness.

This would be my third time here at Santoras. I Would be here more often if I live in the area but I’m from Long beach so I swing by when the time is right, either way this place is awesome the atmosphere is outstanding and a great place for groups. Lots of Tv’s so no matter where you seat you get a great view speaking of views they have some of the nicest & pretty waitresses and bartenders. This is a perfect for family dinners and friends. Either way every time I been here I had got the pleasure to be served by Emily a very kind and pleasant person and may say very pretty as we’ll.
her service here is outstanding always such a positive energy and motivated person. In my point of view this young lady needs a promotion she understand what a customers service is about.5 stars!!! to this location and the workers here happy holidays to everybody here

The vibe of the staff is friendly. I sat at the bar for less than an hour.
Being a big wings fan, I decided to try this place out. Unfortunately, the wings were pathetic. I wondered if they were using baby chickens. The sauce was also overwhelming. The sauce basically covered the entire dish and drowned the wings. Also the wings did not taste fresh but rather dry and flaky.
They seem to have good deals for draft beer and pitchers but if you go for the wings, you have been warned.
The original score was 2 stars but the staff and free wifi was a nice touch.
What would have made it better?
Bigger sized wings = 1 star
Fresh taste = 1 star

Wings are amazing but the place is dirty and they take forever and one day to take your order and they never check back with you to ask if your are ok or if you need anything else.

I mainly come here on Wednesday evenings being that they have «Wing Wednesday.» 20 wings for $ 12! I love the sauces here; especially nuclear! Although the wings normally come deep fried, I like having my wings baked. Sometimes they tell you it will take an hour to bake them but it really just comes down to how busy they are at the time. I suggest just having a beer and wait for the wings They always have a decent line up of beers on tap. I’ve had the salads and they are of decent size. Pizza is also tasty.
The place can be packed at times so sometimes large groups wait a while due to the layout of the restaurant. The parking in the front is ok but there is a lot of parking in the back.

Decent place for wings and chicken strips. I hadn’t planned on going here, my intended destination was Rockfire Grill in the same strip. Since Rockfire Grill was being painted, we headed to Santora’s.
Inside Santora’s is a bar area and regular seating. There are plenty of flat screens playing games. One of the tv’s was tuned to PBS, which I thought was unusual. Of course, later on, they changed it to a game.
We ordered onion rings to share and the portion was good enough for two people. I’d rate the onion rings as 4 stars. They were $ 4.50. I also decided on a half order of chicken strips, which the waitress told me was three strips. I actually got a couple of extra bits in the order. I chose mild and there was a little flavor and very mild heat. The strips were accompanied by celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. I really liked blue cheese dressing.
My better half ordered 10 wings, mild level because he wanted to share with me. He also ordered a beer for $ 4.50. The wings were good enough, but I prefer Wingnuts or possibly Buffalo Wild Wings. Our waitress came around to check on us a couple of times. All in all, it was a decent visit.

One of my all time favorite places. The best wings and pizza. Love the lasagne too and the prices are great for what you get and the quality of the food. Why the 1 rating? Drove there last Saturday night and walked in the door at 9:35 pm with the kids and the older lady hostess told us they close at 10pm and she wouldn’t serve us. YOU SUCK LADY! Every other restaurant in the world serves until closing. Ill revise this next month and kick the rating back up
For now I’m pissed.
So now it’s been a month with a 1 star. I remove them from my shit list and bump them up a star to 2. Hope that dumb lady is nicer next time we go.

Stopped by cause the nephew wanted pizza for lunch. We ordered a pitcher (adult juice), pizza, two orders of wings, and a steak sandwich. Hubby said the sandwich was on point. Hot wings were very good! Waitress/​bartender was very cool and helpful.
The only negative was that the pizza sauce and crust didn’t have much flavor.
It ran us about 70+tip which isn’t terrible.
Not sure if we will return.

We came here for their Buffalo Chicken Wings.
It was a Friday night here and this place was buzz in’ packed. The servers that worked here were all over the place especially the lady who worked register, bar, and phone orders she multi-​tasked and handled it pretty well.
Picked up our orders of:
— 20 pc. Medium Buffalo Wings: First bite was tasty. It was seasoned and had that buttery taste which was pretty good. It also came celery sticks, and the blue cheese it came with just kept getting dunked on.
— 10 pc. Nuclear Buffalo Wings: This is their hottest wings specialty on the menu. After a bite or two they tasted tangy. You could even tell it was showered with seasoning which I liked. What I didn’t like was the buffalo hot sauces on the bottom of plate were greasy. The hotness level on these in my opinion were not as sore throating as Wingstops Atomic Wings.
Overall, out of the two choices the Medium Wings did it for me for the buttery seasoned taste. The celery sticks that came with the orders weren’t out of the norm and I’ve enjoyed eating them. But I wish chicken wings nowadays get meatier.
Next time I’d like to tryout their pizzas. Picking for phone-​in orders? As you walk inside just go straight to the bar, there is a sign for pickups.
