I have taken pants to be altered there before and always used the coupon they put in the mailouts.
This time, I called and asked how much the alterations to widen my pants would be (the holidays were good — haha) and was told $ 8.00, so I brought 1 pair to see how it worked out before bringing in the other 10 pairs.
Long story short, I went to pick them up and was told $ 15.00 (Way more than the other places I checked with). I told him he said $ 8 and even saw the amount written on the ticket, then scratched out. He said never, it was harder than he originally thought.
I told him to stick the pants up his ass and left without them.
The other problem is they have odd hours and it is difficult to go before 10AM on the certain days they are open.

I’ve been going to SAMs Tailoring for 10 + years and have received excellent service and the best alternations for all of my clothes. I’m tall and slender and typically need many of my things altered and they do such fine work… Very fast and reasonable prices. I wouldn’t trust my precious clothes to anyone but Sam!

So bad. Unprofessional. Rude. Took 2 skirts and 3 dresses there to get altered. I needed them for work– they said one week. Saturday, the day I was supposed to pick them up, they called and said they weren’t ready with no explanation. Said they would be ready by Mon. or Tues. and they would call– they weren’t and they didn’t call. Finally after two+ weeks they were ready, and I found out it was because a machine was broken. They should have told me that so I could take them somewhere else, as I needed them for work. And. they were argumentative instead of apologetic, with no discount. My father-​in-​law had the same problem with them when a machine went down. With so many tailors, I highly recommend skipping this one. They don’t care about their customers so clearly they don’t need us.

they shouldn’t get any star! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM YOU WILL NEVER GET IT! I have placed an order online for a man’s shirt. At first they send me an email regarding of the size I need, so I replied with information. Next day they replied an email saying that item will be ship out within next 3 days. 2 weeks later I call them for the first time, they told me the package got return due to the unknown reason. I was very kind and ask them if they can send out again but please email me with tracking number. I waited again for another week and half, Sure enough no package or tracking number email. I call the 2^nd time and spoke to someone claimed to be the manager «John Anderson», he told me he doesn’t know what happen but he will send out the package right away I will received within 3 days and he will email me the tracking number himself to me. so I waited for one more week (4^th week now) and still nothing! I finally wrote the an email asking for tracking number or refund my money within 24hrs, do you think they care enough to email back to me with any info??? Of course not!

Sams tailoring also owns Tiffany Couture. I purchased a dress that has been clearly worn, soiled and altered! In addition to that I was suppose to be receiving a Sherri Hill dress, but when entering the serial number, the designer emailed me and stated «the dress could not be authenticated» Tiffany Couture is not an authorized dealer. Please beware of this company before you conduct any type of business with them.

Had a pair of slacks hemmed and didn’t pay attention when I picked up the pants. As well as having a dirty spot on the white pants, they were hemmed with a 2 ½ in hem, and I am 5 foot 1 in. tall. I took back the pants and asked them to rehem them. They said that they would have to charge me again, as I should have let them know that I wanted a smaller hem. They didn’t care that I said that I would report this on Unilocal.They won’t have my business again.

I have been going here for so many years! They are the only people that do a quality job on my clothing. Also i recently bought a evening dress from there, They are selling Dresses now and they are all so pretty! Everyone that works there are so nice! I would defiantly suggest you give them a try. They have been in business ever since that shopping center was built.

Well to follow-​up, When I tried to pick-​up the jeans, Sam’s was closed even though they said they were open this day. So I waited until the next business day when they were open and I called beforehand to make sure someone was there and the lady who answered the phone told me that I had 30 mins, to be there, bc they were closing @ 1pm. The time i called was 12:30pm. i hustled over to Sam’s got my Jeans, paid $ 5.00 and will never go back. flakey and lacking integrity – forgetaboutit…there are other tailors around who are more stable!
