Residence Inn South Bend Mishawaka

I have stayed here 10 times in the last 2 years and it is always clean and the staff is very responsive. The rooms are as expected and I could not be more satisfied

Loud. Paper thin walls. Kids wandering around the halls unsupervised past midnight. Doors slamming every ten minutes. Weird guy yelling into his cell phone in the hallway at ten pm. Seems more like a cut rate extended stay motel than a business hotel.
Staff is nice overall (which is why I’m not giving it one star) but I’ve gotten no sleep the past two nights. Would never stay here again.

I had to stay here for work and am pretty sure they hustled me for a higher price. I wont go into details but I am pretty annoyed at what I was charged. Especially seeing as how as she was running my credit card I was looking at current prices and availability of theirs and it was not adding up.
Long story short I was put in a 1 bedroom suite. It was HUGE but needed a little TLC given the huge price tag! Unfortunately I stay in hotels in this town pretty often for work. I will go to my other choices from now on though.

Such a nice place to stay! Very clean and very comfortable bed. We have 6 month old twins and haven’t had a good night of sleep in…6 months :) I woke up refreshed and ready to go and so did the twins! We may move in!

This is our (my husband and me with our 15 yr old daughter) 42^nd night of our 52 night stay, and it has been wonderful living here! All are super friendly, everything stays super clean, we have had zero complaints with any part of this hotel!
We have been treated like family and we are truly going to miss all who work here: Cindy, Beverly, and the whole dining room staff, Maria and all the wonderful, respectful housekeeping staff, Scott, the maintenance man, and every single person who works the front office, including Melinda, the manager. I have watched the employees hug when they greet each other and ask each other about their families and their health. I am still always greeted wholeheartedly by all employees. When we walk into the dining room for dinner (2−3x/wk), the staff asks us if we would like our usual drinks (wine, beer, soda, juice) — they remember what we drank the nights before! We have enjoyed the daily full breakfast, not just a continental breakfast, but hot food, a waffle bar, an oatmeal bar, cereal bar, fruit, parfait bar, juice, and unlimited wonderful coffee all day and night with my favorite international delight flavored creamers. They are provide a variety of teas and hot cocoa!
There are extra nice touches that are not advertised that deserve mentioning: The hotel offers grocery shopping and dry-​cleaning services. Drop your grocery list or your dry-​cleaning at the front desk in the morning, your items will be delivered to your room later the same day! The fitness center has 4 cardio machines and a free-​weight set with an inclined bench. Machines have tvs, and the hotel provides a basket full of complimentary headphones or there is a larger tv on the wall. They provide clean towels, a water system, and the temperature in the gym is perfect. The indoor pool and hot tub are large and kept clean. The laundry room has two washers and six dryers that only cost $ 1.00 per use and work fast. Housekeeping is provided daily even for guests who stay long term, unlike other extended stay hotels. There is a beautiful double-​sided fireplace in the lobby with a room with a large tv and a community computer with printer. Free wifi every day.
The lobby displays a collection of awards and trophies and I see clearly how deserving this hotel is if those awards!

The sales manager from this hotel reached out to me and was able to get my previous rate back through a different way. I really appreciate the sales manager and general manager taking the time to keep me as a customer. They went above and beyond to help. I will be staying here at all my future visits as it’s a great place to stay!

I have been visiting South Bend regularly while my daughter attended college at Notre Dame but this was my first time staying at this hotel. I wish I had found this my first trip because it was by far the best. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed, and the pool and spa is just what I needed to relax after a long drive and at the end of long days with a demanding schedule of events. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting South Bend.

Convenient location to Notre Dame, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

My family and I stayed here while visiting family over the holidays, and we were very pleased with our stay. There are several hotels in the immediate vicinity and we’ve tried many of them. This is by far the most comfortable place we have stayed in this area, and we plan to make this our first choice for the next trip.
The rooms are large and very quiet. There were several youth hockey teams staying in the hotel when we were there, and we were not disturbed one bit by them. The pool is clean and warm, and the breakfast was as good as you would expect from this chain.

This is my second time staying here. The first time was for only three days. I was impressed then. This time, my wife and I are living here after relocating from another state. We’ve had discussions about not leaving.
Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and bath stall, great décor, very friendly staff, extremely clean, full kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove, etc.). Also has on-​site laundry facility, free wi-​fi, gym, indoor pool and spa.
They are dog friendly, and have no issue with my two big dogs staying here.
They serve breakfast daily and dinner three nights a week.
This place has been amazing!
