Logan’s Roadhouse

We decided to give Logan’s a try. We were seated right away by a hostess that seemed confused as to what her job was. Not sure what the problem was there. Anyhow, our waiter came by and took our drink order and had I known he was never gonna refill our drinks the rest of our visit we would have ordered 2 for each of us. My daughter ordered the chicken fingers and said they were fine, which I would hope so, pretty easy order. My husband got the country fried chicken, fries and mashed potatoes. He said it wasn’t anything exciting or full of taste. I ordered the pork chops, sweet potato and mushroom skewer. The mushroom skewer tasted like I was licking the burnt pieces of a grill and the pork chops didn’t really have much flavor. Someone other than our waiter brought our food and we never saw anyone else for quite sometime till I literally stood from our table to flag someone down. The girl that came over asked if there was something I needed cause I looked lost. I thought well that’s an odd observation. So I said we don’t know what happen to our waiter but can we get refills, napkins and more sauce for my daughter? She brought it all back with out a word and barely slowed down enough to drop it off! Finally we see our waiter after quite sometime when he brings us our check. He’s all smiles and talkative (I’m assuming this is when he tries to win a decent tip– to late buddy you had over an hour to work on that!) telling us about the horrible snow and how he hopes were careful getting home blah blah. No explanation for where he was or why he went m.i.a but we paid and got out of there! Next time I’ll just go to Texas Roadhouse.

This review is actually a 2015 review I hadn’t posted yet. The food was good here the reason for this review is service related. I ordered ribs as an appetizer. I was wearing a light grey shirt. When the ribs came out the young man carrying them (not our waitress, but another dude helping out) seemed like he was going to stumble and the ribs looked stacked precariously on the plate. Sure enough he makes the table but the ribs tumble and one of them loaded with sauce and grease hits me in the belly and hits the floor.
Okay stuff happens, but what happened next didn’t make me happy. The young guy looked a little frazzled and apologized. he said he’d replace the rib. I thought he meant he’d replace the order of ribs, or not charge me for them. I was mistaken.
So we are eating and my waitress comes by and apologizes. Then another employee says I heard about the rib and we’ll have another one out to you. Then another employee which I’m assuming was a manager came and apologized.
So our main meal came out and the food was decent. I almost forgot about it and then finally a plate with a single overcooked rib comes. Now usually I handle stuff like this right there but I told my wife I wanted to see what they would do. The replacement rib was overcooked and gross I didn’t touch it.
After the meal the waitress brought the receipt and apologized again and left. I looked at the receipt and there was the rib appetizer. What i expect from a service professional is to make an attempt to set things right. one rib isn’t enough. A free order of ribs, or no charge for the appetizer would’ve been sufficient a gift card would’ve been extra. Now they’ve lost a customer and I’m a man who reviews stuff.
If you want decent service don’t go here, the food is decent but you can do better.
I felt for the waitress but she got no tip.

Nothing negative to say. We had the road house burgers. It was perfectly cooked and just delicious. Great atmosphere. Good view of the TVs. Overall a great time. The waitress, Courtney, was awesome.

Went on a slow Monday night. Service was incredible fast and attentive. They were very helpful and very nice. Food was pretty good, only downside being the rolls tasted old. I ordered the roadhouse burger and it was good. The burger itself was pretty bland but the other ingredients made up for it. My girlfriend got the steak and shrimp, said it was alittle dry but had good flavor. Only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star was the food was good but not great and the bathrooms and floors were very dirty, but what can you expect when everyone throws all their trash on the floor.

Full disclosure… my husband and I are steak snobs. Not that we require the meat to be perfectly aged and cost a fortune. It needs to be perfectly cooked. Having spent many post work out lunches at our favorite steak place we have developed an appreciation for a perfectly rare steak with perfect seasoning and at a reasonable price. That means rare. A little bluer for my husband and just out of the blue stage for me. And it means not paying more than $ 20 for a 12 oz steak and even that is higher than the best steak place we’ve been to.
Now…Logan’s met our needs, but with some blows to our expectations. The positives? My husband and our other drinking companion loved their chilled beer glasses, our two dinner companions expressed only one concern with their meal, and my husband’s steak was cooked perfectly for him.
The negatives? One of our dinner companions and my husband ordered rice, which ended up tasting like something off of the instant rice shelf. My steak arrived medium rare (way too leathery for my taste) and my side of mushrooms was so cold, yuck! I figured they cooked my steak too early and let it sit while prepping the rest of the tables’ order. I told the waitress, who got the manager to talk to me and they replaced my steak and mushrooms with a much rarer piece and wonderfully hot, grilled mushrooms. The second steak was a nice touch customer service wise, but it did lack flavor and was a little more to my husband’s liking than mine. They may have rushed the order the second time. Sigh.
Pricing and sides were wanting as well. We’ve had more affordable steaks, cooked just the way we like, with an extra side option for less.
Otherwise, the atmosphere and customer service was adequate.
It was our first visit to Logan’s and because we’re so picky about how our steak is cooked we’ll probably defer to our regular steak location.

This particular restaurant used to be a lot better. When came here quite often until recently. After some staff changes, quality of food and customer service has diminished. Your food is some times great and other times cold and mushy. Rethink a stop here.

This was as good a Logan’s experience as one could hope for.
I’ve been to more than a few of these franchises, mostly in the South. I am very particular as to how I like their grilled chicken prepared. This is the first, and only, Logan’s that got it exactly right the first time.
I chose to go on a slow night so as to give them the best chance at giving great service. These folks exceeded expectations in all respects. The bartender was working her first solo shift and was constantly going back and forth from the kitchen to check on various food orders. She made the effort to go back there and explain my order precisely, instead of just relying on the automated ordering system. This was also a Logan’s first for me.
I saw several servers hustling around and not just dogging it, despite the low customer count. There is no doubt that this management team is ON IT. If you enjoy the Logan’s concept, you simply must come to this location. If you think you might like to try Logan’s for the first time, same thing.
One major issue: How in heck do they not have any .38 Special music on their free jukebox!!!

We had my mothers birthday lunch at this location today. I honestly do not have an issue with the food but the service was so slow that I thought we would never get our food and when it did finally arrived several of our party complained of cold food. My main issue with Logan’s was the filthy bathroom, it wasn’t just dirty from current use… this is that long term not being cleaned properly it was literally as bad as a old truck stop bathroom that doesn’t get cleaned. The kicker was someone had mopped the floor it was soaking wet and they ignored everything else.

I was a little worried eating here after reading some of the reviews about poor service but that was not my experience at all. I sat in the bar area and within a minute of sitting down was greeted and brought a menu. A couple of minutes after that I ordered.
My food was AMAZING! I got the 22 oz porterhouse cooked to medium rare. They cooked it to perfection (I’m a tough critic on steaks, my wife calls me a meat snob, whatever that means) It was a fantastic steak! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was it took a little long to bring my bill after I finished eating (and I’m kind of nit-​picking here, it was probably only about 5 minutes or so but not worthy of the 5^th star for me).

I’ve been here a couple times now and I love it! Huge $ 3 domestic beers, peanuts, delicious hot rolls and super fresh dinner salads… I’m usually full by the time my food comes! Service is excellent, always very friendly and prompt. The wait can be kind of long sometimes but we usually can find a bar table, which is open seating. Definitely worth a try!

Food was awesome, service sucked! I don’t know what it is about this restaurant, but we always get lousy service. Too bad because when we get good service we tip awesome!

Kathy is amazing!!! Best waitress ever!!! We were a party of six and she had four other tables and she was on top of it… Onion brewski is amazing… The wings are good but the onion petals are out of this world!!! Good Caesar salad too… Great for dates of groups!!!

Great service, fun, and numerous tasty eats! This is a peanut shells on the floor place with pretty tasty food. I had blackened chicken salad with nice Cajun seasoning. Helpful nice service, my iced tea glass was never empty.
Great carry out service, all details attended to. I will be back… when they get a mechanical bull, till then their hot bartenders will have to do.

Tonight they did a great job… perfectly prepared and seasoned ribeyes. Delicious. Our server was fantastic.

I like this place, steaks are always good and cooked right. Prices are reasonable. Service is always good. Their shrimp is not always the best– but if you like steak at a reasonable price and a nice setting– this is your place!

I loved coming to Logan’s before, and now that I am gluten free I enjoy it even more! They have so many options and a great gluten free menu. Wonderful night out when you are on the Whole30!

Service is very slow. Reasonably priced and a lot of items on the menu. I probably wont go back just because our steaks are always fatty and over cooked.

Really hit or miss at this place. We went once and it was bad, but not the worst experience ever filled out the survey someone from their home office responded by sending us a gift card. The second time they were really good, everything was cooked perfectly and the waiter was attentive. So we went back tonight, before you lay into me that it was a Friday night issues are to be expected we eat early usually around 5pm so waits and over crowding usually are not an issue; it was worse than the first time, waitress was terrible probably the worst I have had in at least a few years, food was under cooked, and it just was over all a bad experience. The only good thing to come out of the night was the manager was a good person and understood our issue, I just wanted the food that was poorly cooked to be taken care of, he took care of all of it. Their manager is great, just wish the place was managed better prior to the food arriving at my table.

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Logans offers reasonably priced bar and grill foods, plus steaks, and pork chops. They have quite a few entrees under $ 10.
