Silver Isles Cleaners – Shoppes at Silver Isles

Worst place ever!!! Very expensive, almost double the price compared with next cleaner «one price dry cleaning» located next at the falls mall where is home depot, marshalls.) the old lady is very rude, she said the order will be ready for Monday, but it wasn’t, then on Tuesday the order was not ready, they missed one pant, she did not even apologize. That was my first and last time there!!!

1.5-star yes ma’am, and omg I hate leaving bad reviews. I went into this dry cleaners after seeing them on Unilocal and the fact that they had a Unilocal deal (for I believe it was 40% off for new customers). I dropped a wool winter peacoat off on Wednesday and she told me it’d be ready Saturday. I told them I had a flight on Saturday so they were gracious enough to put a rush on my «cleaning» for pick up on Friday (which is where the .5 star comes in) Little did I know, I should’ve just cleaned it myself at home.
Now, I don’t go to the cleaners too often, but when I picked up my coat, it was just as dirty as when I dropped it off. There was still a few but very obvious random hairs and fibers on the collar and back of it (it’s a wool coat which attracts hairs and fibers) and there were still small, light surface marks/​dirt. I asked the lady if this was normal and she shrugged her shoulders and said that sometimes stains don’t come out. Understandable, however, if I’m paying $ 20 I expect that surface stains that I can pretty much pull off with my fingers should’ve come out. I showed her how some of the marks were on the surface and could just come out with a few finger pulls or light brushing because they were on the ends of the wool and not imbedded or deep. she shrugged and told me all they could do is run it through again but she knows I didnt have time. Not rude, just not concerned, no further explanation, and who appeared to be the manager heard the whole conversation and was also none too concerned. The coat even smelled the same as when I dropped it off (like barely used winter coat from the closet). There was no difference at all, not even a hint of anything «clean».
If I didn’t know any better I’d think they just put a bag over the coat after I left. I can’t imagine this to be true of a business but I just don’t visually see or smell what I paid $ 20 for. I still have to take the coat home and clean it myself. Id have done better with my he washer/​dryer and Tide. Maybe my expectations were just to high that dry clean meant that it would mean… well, clean? I don’t know. I’m attaching photos

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. They did a horrible job with my POLICE ACADEMY uniform! They left a bunch of creases on the breast pockets and wrinkles throughout the shirts. Doesn’t look pressed, and doesn’t even smell clean! And not to mention, I paid extra money for them to expedite it. Guess i’ll be getting in trouble during my uniform inspection. Thanks for nothing, Silver Isles Cleaners!

Owner gave me a 40% military discount on all my dry cleaning uniforms, very pleasant with the service. I got my uniforms back in 3 days.

They wouldn’t honor my 40% off Unilocal check in deal. The lady was nice and gave me 20% off instead. I like the technology that messages you when your clothes are ready.

Wow I left one star because I could not leave anything lower. This place has got to be the worst Cleaners I have ever been to. Definitely the last time, where to start! I payed rush and was told 430pm the lady the moment I arrived and walked in the door was rude and tells me I was early and that she had advised 6pm. I told her I recall 430pm and on her ticket she wrote 430pm she got all defensive and asked me to leave comeback later or sit and wait. As if I have all the time to chill in her shop wasting time. Nevertheless, I sat and waited 20 min while they sorted the mess they had in back of people’s clothing. she then went on to charge me full price and offered no discount for my inconvenience. As I was walking out I noticed that my pants for one of my suits where wrong and totally off they where giving me someone else pants, all the lady could do was give me a goofball laugh and no apology! What a waist of space this business is in this shopping mall, game stop next door should look into expanding into there side and take those two out of there misery! Obviously two very unhappy business owners not doing what they love, taking it out on paying customers! I will drive an extra mile to the next cleaners next time and take my business elsewhere I suggest you do the same, save yourselves the waste of time and anguish…

so glad i found this place, as I was going to a dry cleaners at Monarch Lakes, but had too many issues such as ruining my shirt, writing my ticket manually, not doing what I paid for and credit card. I love the technology that they have installed that let’s the customer know your clothes are ready for pick up.

$ 12.99 to hem pants. $ 26 to shorten a jacket sleeve. $ 45 to taper sleeves on another jacket & let it out.
I don’t particularly know how those prices compare to other places. Admittedly, I was set back back when I first the heard the quote. My timid nature lead me to just go with it. Everything fit alright when I came back to pick up. Customer service was friendly AND they spoke English well (at least the person who took care of me did). HUGE plus for non-​espanol speakers like me. I’ll need to sample more places to really give a final verdict. Until then, 4 stars it is.

Their site says same day service. Call and they say no, cause they don’t clean on site. Can you remove an oil stain? Yes buy it’ll have to be dry cleaned. That’s ok. Is going to be $ 5.99 for 1 shirt. That’s fine. What’s the fastest you can do then? Next day service if you bring it in before 3 and pick up next day after 5. I was in 15 minutes before 3. Guess what? The truck was early and had just left so it was my fault apparently. What’s the quickest you can do then? Wednesday after 5. Ok then, right? Wrong. — there’ll be an extra charge for quick turn around. You mean that I’ll have to wait an extra day and pay you extra for what you claim you already do? Then fix your site to reflect the information accurately and stop claiming you do things so well. Ended up leaving and taking my business somewhere else. I wished there was a zero star choice because this other happy clients got very lucky. Apparently that’s an important factor when coming to this business. Do business with people and establishments that constantly deliver and take the reviews with a grain of salt.

I’ve been in this shopping center so many times and, until recently, had not noticed Silver Isles Cleaners. I am so glad I have discovered them. Wedged between Chili’s and a CVS (best place to watch stoned West Miramar teenagers at 1am), this business offers a VERY friendly staff and a clean and efficient product.
I was on the hunt for a new dry cleaner after a disastrous experience at another one nearby. I found Silver Isles Cleaners after receiving a coupon from them in the mail. Keep an eye out for them in your mailbox. I get a very nice discount because of them.
The service is fast and thoughtful and Silver Isles Cleaners is now my «go-​to» cleaners in West Miramar.
Grab a delicious café con leche next door at Tati’s Bakery to turn the otherwise boring chore of getting your shirts cleaned into a reason to give yourself a little Miamiesque jolt.
