Brooklyn New York Deli Pizza

Nasty little place. Inside is trashy and the pizza is burned to hell. Not to mention the lack of sauce. It tastes like cheese on burned toast. The garlic rolls look and taste like they came from the frozens food section of the grocery store. Wouldn’t visit twice if I was a homeless person and if they were giving this trash away for free.

We’ve ordered from this place fairly often. They mess up orders often but that was ok. However, hair in the order was the last drop and I don’t feel like ordering any more. These guys were nice enough to refund the money but «aftertaste» will last awhile.

Tha Unilocal Daddy is from NYC and I kinda expected more New York style sauce on their pizza. Maybe, the Deli part is Brooklyn but the Pizza part is more reminiscent of New York style pizza. The service-​nice, friendly and accommodating. The Pizza-​crust was too hard and need more sauce… I was just eating cheese bread. The décor-​New York style, nice!!! Lunch specials: Good deals. So, check it… I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some garlic rolls. The Pizza-​needed more sauce and the crust cut my gums! The garlic rolls were sorta tasty! I’ll try the sandwiches next but the pizza needs to be better!

Great tasting food. Cuban Italian fusion! The pan con bistec (steak sandwhich) is delicious! Great for indecisive couples. Atmosphere isnt the best, it small and can use some renovations. But the food outweighs the bad!

Good food but took WAY LONGER than an hour to get the pizza!!! Don’t ever say it’ll take 45 – 50 minutes if it’s going to take longer and if it is don’t charge your customers because you did not stay true to your word!!!

I wasn’t too impressed with this joint. Coming from NY I guess I expected more because of the name. I got a large family and we had a calzone and was disappointed with small size, yes it was flavorful, but I’m used to sharing or having some for a 2^nd meal. We also got the Stromboli which again… disappointed me in the small size of it. The pizza was alright but Seriously… in Brooklyn if u order any of the above it’s gonna be a small pizza folded in half… not a personal size portion. I can’t say that I’ll go back again… not when I could get more for less and just as or more tasty at other places. They’ve been at their location for a few yrs now. I only tried them cause I had a coupon and figured let’s see. Sadly… even with a coupon I feel I overpaid. While the food was good, it wasn’t all that. I’m sure the older folks with low taste buds will find them to be great. But like I said… I’m from New York, my family is Haitian-Italian…so I’m a foodie and I like large portions that’s full of flavor. This place lacked both for me.

This place is great because the owners are wonderful people, their menu is creative and the food is awesome. They nemae thier sandwiches after trucks or suburbs (easier to order for groups) and their menu is quite extensive. They deliver as well. We even got free spumoni because we show up so often. I like the corned beef the best (not sure of its truck name)
