This is a great breakfast option for the area. It is a little tricky to find as it is in somewhat of a gated community and you have to travel through a certain security checkpoint. The service here was great and they continued to offer to fill up our coffee mugs — a very big plus. The beignets were great and it came with a side of honey marmalade. Those are definitely worth ordering. There are a number of breakfast options and the food seemed to be fresh.

For breakfast, Another Broken Egg is hard to beat. The eggs benedict have always been cooked perfectly; the poached eggs are not over or undercooked, the English muffin is fresh, and the hollandaise sauce has been prepared to add to the flavor of the meal without overwhelming it. For those who like pancakes or a belgian waffle, they are very good here and the real Vermont/Canadian maple syrup is also available. I prefer not to have powdered sugar or whipped cream on anything for breakfast and they are always accommodating. The sausage is always well cooked and flavorful. There are a variety of omelettes also available. My favorite is the lobster and brie with multi-grain potatoes accompanied by a cup of Earl Grey tea with honey. Be careful when ordering pancakes and inquire about the size of the meal. Some are way too much food for a normal appetite. There are many less expensive places for breakfast in the Destin, Florida area. There are not any as good(although First Watch is coming in the Spring and may give Another Broken Egg more competition).

I ate here for breakfast every morning while I was in Destin. It was so good I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Loved the shrimp and grits, the Lakeshore scramble, and the mediterranean potatoes. So tasty and seasoned very well. Our server was always attentive and quick. Our drinks were refilled promptly which is a big deal to me. Perfect place and location for breakfast.

We have been Another Broken Egg and to this location in the past and had great service and food… today, not so much. The wait about 20 – 30 minutes, as the host said. We sat inside, greeted promptly and we ordered right away and the food came out relatively quick given how busy they seemed. This is where the stars get reduced… I ordered a «Southwest Scramble». It was served with a side of guacamole, salsa, and two flour tortillas. The guacamole was literally brown, and it was not just the surface. It was brown all the way to the bottom of the cup. The salsa was warm, runny, and had a funny flavor. The flour tortillas each had crispy hard edges and were pretty rubbery. The good news is the actual scramble was ok, not setting any records but it was ok. I think I had a one off bad experience and would go back, but this visit was bad.

After reading several reviews we decided to try another broken egg since we were staying at Sandestin and it was on the property. To our surprise there wasn’t a wait, but then again we did arrive right at 8:30am. We started off with beignets, and they were scrumptious! Both kids had pancakes, and let me say, they were the best thing we ate there. They had a lite sweet vanilla taste to them, they didn’t even need syrup. I had the traditional eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast plate. Bacon was crisp and not greasy, but my scrambled eggs had a smell and taste too them. Maybe I’m just used to egglands best eggs. My husband had the crab and shrimp grits thing. It was extremely heavy on the seafood smell and taste. The garlic toast was very greasy, so this in our opinion is not a good breakfast plate. Our server Cheryl was awesome! So sweet and on top of her game.

Service is good and they’ll text you when your table is ready so you can go anywhere… even back to your room. Food is good too.

This place has fabulous food. My husband, two kids(12 and 14), and I went there for brunch. We all had a different dish and each one tasted great. My daughter had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It was heavenly. My husband had Stan’s Mardi Gras Omelette, I had The Floridian, and my son had Baquizo Omlette. We will definitely be back. Our service was great too. Very friendly!

We’ve eaten at the old Destin restaurant, the new location, and this one in Sandestin once before, so we knew what to expect. Wonderful food as usual, great service, however longer than usual wait on the food. Of course we had a wait to be seated, but they texted you when your table was ready, so we were able to play at the arcade till our table was ready. Now on to the bad. The cigar bar is next door and the smoke went directly to our table and made our entire party ill. Our waitress promptly moved us inside(thank you so much!), but when the side doors opened, the stench still drafted throughout the restaurant. Could«Lumpy’s Wine Bar» have some courtesy to the customers at Another Broken Egg?

Wow, this was really good. Everything was delicious. Biscuit beignets were just as they are described. Beignets with a bit more of a biscuit texture inside. But all powdered sugar coated beignet on the outside! And a honey marmalade to put on top. My crab cavallo eggs benedict was fantastic. Poached eggs with andouille infused(yum!)(and also with diced red peppers & green onions) hollandaise sauce atop a big olé mess of lump crab meat over English muffins. Very satisfying. The wife got some healthy option — skinny omelet that involved egg whites, goat cheese, garlic cloves, red peppers, green onions, and asparagus. My head says yuck, but my wife said«very good!»

I was just made aware that when you get to the guard gate, you can ask them for a visitors pass to Another Broken Egg restaurant. We did and it was worth checking into. My dad had the Popeye scrambled skillet dish and I had the Belgium Waffle. The waffle was good, not the fluffiest of Belgium waffles but good. I really liked the sausage, you could tell they added garlic as an ingredient to it. It was a moderate crowd, no line, 35 minute wait to get served after ordering. A bit pricey; $ 35.00 all in with tip for breakfast but then so is everything in the resort areas. I would go back if I were staying at Miramar Beach again.

Waited an hour to be seated, 45 minutes to get our food — while tables seated after us got their food first and received service from their server. I saw the manager checking on each table — not ours. Our server, Iva, used part of our table to sort out her tickets and also reached across our table to get sugar packets for the next table. Also she did not check on us once. Food: banana foster Belgian waffle was good; but the shrimp lobster roll slider was 98% shrimp — don’t expect a bite of lobster. Overall we felt that because we were young we got overlooked by the staff. Therefore if you expect no tip based off of our age and serve us as your last priority you won’t get it; and we always tip at least 20%, but not this time.

Excellent service for my demanding request because my son’s allergicto dairy and egg. You probably wondered why in the world we’re eating at a place serving mostly eggs. I saw they have Salmon with sauteed spring mix and mushroom for my son. The dish came fast and super yummy. Their country potatoes is awesome too. Make sure you come hungry.

This is a great place for breakfast. The décor is very cheery and it’s very clean inside. The food was fantastic. They have omelettes, scrambles, eggs Benedict, waffles, pancakes, etc… We had a couple of the house specialities that were outstanding. The cinnamon roll French toast is a must try, very unique and not as sweet as it sounds. The service was great and everyone was extremely friendly. Great to find a breakfast place that is committed to the whole customer dining experience.

Please try the banana foster French toast, you won’t be disappointed! Great place for breakfast while at the resort. I pretty much had breakfast here the entire week I was there. The crab cake Benedict was excellent.

I don’t know if I enjoyed this place because I was on vacation or it was because they were just damn good. Really! First of all this restaurant is located on the bay so while you dine you can enjoy a beautiful view. I love dinning with a view. We visited the restaurant twice while in Sandestin and both times our visit was great. From the staff, to the food, to the bay view, everything was just the way we wanted it. I understand that being on vacation can make all the difference in the world but not necessarily. I’ve been on vacation and visited some places(that I’ll be writing about soon) and that’s not the case. As soon as we walked into the lobby that leads to the restaurant the ambiance was set. It was like walking on the red carpet. The hostess greeted us like we were celebrities. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our meal selections recommended to us by our waitress was exactly what we were looking for. And her interaction with us made us feel like we were sitting at our kitchen table enjoying a meal together. I would encourage you to browse their menu and become familiar with it before you go but be open to any suggestions. I’m sure you will be pleased.

This place is surprisingly good for being in a tourist area. We ordered several different dishes including the huevos rancheros, simply salmon, and french toast«bananas foster» style. Everything was fresh and amazing! I really liked my salmon because of the asparagus and cloves of garlic Service was also really friendly. I would recommend this place for breakfast or brunch, if you have time!

I have to admit when I first tried Another Broken Egg at their Baton Rouge location, I was less than enthused. The flavors were bland, the Bloody Mary was just plain, and it was just loud and filled with kids and the after church crowd. After I visited the location at the Wharf, my mind was changed. Sure the morning started off a little rocky with an awkwardly long look at my obviously over 21ID and a longer wait than I wanted for my morning coffee cocktail, but they were busy and our waitress was just doing her job so I told my impatient hangover to shut up and focused on enjoying my food. SUCCESS. I went for the Huevos Rancheros and they were delicious, but honestly what’s better than a Mexican breakfast — authentic or not, when you add salsa and sour cream to egg, black bean, and chorizo tortillas, you just can’t lose. Add some of their crispy home fries dipped in a pile of hot sauce and ketchup and you reach hangover heaven. And by the way, if you want a kick in the ass first thing in the morning, order the Café Rouge with Amaretto, Bailey’s, and coffee. You’ll forget whatever you drank the night before because you take the first sip and HELLO, YOU’REDRUNK! But it’s appropriate, because you’re on vacation in Destin!
