This review is in regards to the Minneapolis location. I arrived at Kisa Boutique looking for some business casual clothes for a new job. I have passed the downtown Minneapolis location in the skyway many times and there have been many times during the year that I’ve seen sales on much of their clothing. I think the sales, and regular prices in general, are extremely generous for European made clothing. The male sales associate the male sales associate there was very nice and suggested different clothing for me to try on. The store space is quite large for a boutique and has many, many clothing option from women’s business dress to casual clothing. I’ll definitely be back to shop again!

So frustrated with this place! I used to go there all the time, and now the last 4 times I have attempted to go, they are closed during business hours. The hour listed on the door do not reflect when they are open. I have purposely left work to go during listed business hours, and I show up and the door is locked and the store is shut down. I saw something in the window I wanted to purchase and showed up so many times trying to buy it. I even called to ask when they are actually open and no one answered or ever called me back. Super unfortunate, as like I said, I have purchased items there before and have enjoyed myself. Now I will not go there again, nor would I recommend trying to go there. I ended up reading the tag of the item I wanted through the window and just ordered it online.

Some cute items especially original handmade jewelry. They didn’t have a lot of small sizes but the sales person kept giving me big sizes. On a fat day I don’t wear a size 6 or 38… if I did I would shoot myself!

A tantalizing selection of feminine to flirty European(Turkish) pieces. Lots of fun prints and styles that can be worn casually or dressed up. Don’t expect H&M low prices. You’ll pay about $ 40-$ 50 for a blouse, but one that won’t disintegrate after a wear or two. Even though European sizes run smaller than U.S., I’m unfortunately still too petite to fit into any apparel properly! As consolation, Kisa sells some great jewelry, including Turkish oya, which Kisa’s website describes as: «a wide range of lace making and handiwork skills; crocheted motifs and three dimensional needle lace flowers unique to each region of [Turkey].» So beautifully handcrafted and unique. I think they’d dress up any basic tank, tee, or dress. The owner, Emily, is warm and welcoming. She shows genuine interest in getting to know her customers and assists however she can. I’m a terrible and impatient shopper. She listened to my needs and wants and selected items for me to try, almost adopting the role of a personal shopper. If you’re in the LynLake area, I’d definitely recommend browsing the racks at Kisa.
