The Calamari here is to die for and the service is always excellent! One of my go-to places!

This restaurant I rate 5 stars because of its great noodles. The noodles tasted amazing and the service was great. What i loved about the noodles were they were perfect and they tasted great! I thought thought thought not just there noodles were great but there seafood and all other sorts got me really going. Also I forgot to mention that there ice cream is fabulous And I love that I could not decide what I wanted but of course I got the noodles.

Terrible service. Sat down for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Then after ordering, both course were delivered within 5 minutes. Waitress went out of her way to ignore us after that. I would have ordered another drink but never had a chance. We asked for the bill twice and yet had to chase her down to get it. Food was good. Bread was cold and brought out after we got our dinner. Too many other good options to go back to this marginal restaurant again.

Great food, reasonable price, and nice ambiance. I always look forward to eating here when I am visiting town. Our server(I believe her name was Jackie), was especially great. Thank you!

Calamari was excellent, it was tender and the batter was nicely seasoned. The tomato basil soup was good, nicely seasoned and a bit chunky. The fries were very meh, needed salt and were pretty soggy. The ahi tuna burger was great, it was cooked well with a nice seasoning and the aoli set it over the top.

I recently had my first dining experience at Bacio with 3 other friends. We all ordered separate items in order to share and we all agreed that every one of the items was exceptional and well worth the price. Our waiter was also excellent and was very professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. He also was quite helpful in his honest opinions of many of his favorite items not he menu. The ambience is a little loud for my preference, but it didn’t prevent us from carrying on conversations at our table. We will definitely be back.

Nice décor inside, limited menu and option, average size portions, very good service, except meat balls nothing stood out to me, on the little pricey side

I am super bummed that I forgot to get our servers name because she was awesome. We sat in the bar tonight and after a long night of bingo, we were famished! We tried… ready for this… the ahi tuna plate, the soup(tomato basil), which was fantastic, the grilled shrimp salad(also great), the wild mushroom ravioli with a creamy sauce(so good), fettuccine Alfredo and the best was the«drunken pig» pizza. O… m…g…a spicy tomato sauce, pine nuts, mozzarella, local goat cheese, bourbon bacon with pork cheeks and fresh basil! Everything was delicious and homemade. For dessert, the pumpkin crème brûlée was perfection and the molton lava cake was devine but the caramel apple cake stole the show with fresh apples and cinnamon ice cream. I can leave Minnesota happy now… cheese curds in hand.

It was a nice sit down restaurant with nothing but high end class that made you feel warm inside. The New Orleans dish I had was spicy on a cold and rainy day. The restaurant is a little dresser than I expected but they didn’t care if I just came in out of the rain. Will come back for sure.

I’ll start by saying I came here twice within a 3 day timeframe. The service here is excellent. Both nights I came with a big party and the service was seamless. The food the entire party got was all deadly. I got the filet both nights with wasabi mashed potatoes and the cream corn. The filet was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a perfect temp. One night we got a bunch of appetizers and the Parmesan shrimp was good. I don’t quite remember what we got for desert but rest assure it was tasty. If you are in the area you should make a stop.

Bacio has always been a stop for me when I am in the Ridgedale/Minnetonka area. Yesterday we stopped in for a glass of wine, only to be surprised it was HH. They had a wonderful happy hour menu that complimented the wine. The tuna crisps are wonderful($ 5). I am a huge fan of the tomato basil soup! It’s thick, rich, and lots of bites of tomato. The salads are great and my favorite is the chopped. They have 2 sizes available if you are not super hungry. I also love the flat bread pizzas and the pasta. The warm bread is pretty much evil and I cannot seem to pass it up! The service is impeccable here! Bacio has a unique look… There is lots of exposed brick which gives it a warm feel. Huge bar area. Free wifi(which should be everywhere), and patio is great in the summertime. See you next time I need a break from shopping!

Dining in the suburbs is not a hobby of mine. Why leave the city to eat at a chain? I have to «eat crow» with Bacio. The food is consistent and flavors can be comforting to the conservative and more challenging to the adventuresome. The salads are well dressed(like the Minnetonka folk that patronize the place). Last time I tried the prosciutto and fig flat bread which allowed all four of my taste bud types to indulge in the elements of sweet, salty, bitter, sour. My dining partner wanted walleye(they were out and the manager came over to apologize personally). Our astute waitress steered him away from something she thought he wouldn’t like(thank you). He instead decided on the sweet corn and mascarpone stuffed ravioli. It was topped with just enough bacon to entice him into ordering it(men of his generation are not vegetarian). He offered me a bite then I stole another and another off his plate. We both thought it was great. Now, is this authentic Italian? No, not really. Don’t forget that a Marshall’s store is next door. But it’s good food and not burgers, which means it’s on my shortlist of places to eat when I’m in the Minnetonka area.

I haven’t been here in a while. We decided to have dinner the other night. It wasn’t super busy, but our bartender Chris was great. I had the Creekstone Farms Hanger Steak with creamed corn and mashed potatos… medium rare. It was spot on. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I will go back.

Bacio… I have been here several times but I have never gotten a kiss here nor Italian food. Weird you say? I think so. However, not getting what your expected could be just fine sometimes. Not getting Italian food at a seemingly Italian restaurant was a phenomenon of its own as it happened to me almost each time I was at Bacio. It’s like going to McDonald’s in Indonesia. You left with rice and fried chicken instead of Big Mac. First time here was a couple years ago. I dined with my business associates. I was talked into getting a salad and adding a filet to it. I was the only one who ended up getting a full size salad with filet. The two guys who ordered the same got a small salad, with filet coming after the salad instead of on the salad. Not sure where the communications breakdown was as we ordered the same thing. But the girl got the salad and the guys got a steak entrée with side salad. LOL. I came here again for lunch several times and always ordered the salad with the filet. It was that damn good. I always really enjoyed it and at times craved it. This last visit, I came with a bunch of Unilocalers after a Beer Battalion. We came at sorta odd hours and it was perfect as it was Happy Hour time! Lisa A sold us on Bacio as she mentioned the awesome HH they have. She wasn’t kidding. It was probably one of the best HH menus I have ever saw and experienced. There were lots of selection of cocktails on the HH menu that were very reasonably priced. There were also several good portion of food items on there. We ordered personal pan pizza, bacon cheeseburger, turkey burger, ahi tuna spring rolls, smoked chicken wings, etc. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was not bad for the price of $ 5 or $ 6. It was a bit too juicy as it was dripping meat juice all over me. Geez. The fries tasted better than it looked, especially with the truffle aioli. It was yummy and you couldn’t stop eating it. My total check for this last visit at HH was $ 17 and I got a bacon cheeseburger, a sangria, and a latte. That was dirt cheap, considering the restaurant was beautiful and upscale in the ritzy Minnetonka. I’d say this whole thing felt like getting a really good quality Louis Vuitton knock off or the real thing at a flea market. It was a steal of a deal. The service was great also. Our server actually adjusted my check as I added the latte after the tab was closed. She just adjusted it and combined it with my earlier check so I didn’t have to have two separate checks. That was nice of her. I think I may come more often for happy hour in the future. It’s pretty damn awesome for the price and it actually really made my hour there happy. Literally.

My wife and I found this place and decided to try it for our 2nd anniversary. As soon as we walked in, we knew this place might be above our normal budget amount, but we wanted to splurge. The décor was higher class and very nice. The food was amazing! I ordered the 6 oz Filet mignon and my wife ordered the Walleye. Both were blasting with flavor and melt in your mouth. Then we had Gelato to wrap up our meal and that was equally as delicious. The only reason I give Bacio 4 stars is the price, but if you have the money for a spendy meal, Bacio should be toward the top of your list.

For starters, the décor is beautiful. You’d expect a restaurant adjacent to a mall to have a sterile feeling, but Bacio is warm and romantic inside. I dug the paneled ceilings and brick archways. I wish it weren’t so loud though. The heirloom grain salad is one heavenly pile of healthy eating. I’ve had it once with parmesan crusted shrimp and once with beautiful slices of tuna. If you’re looking for the perfect lunch in the Ridgedale shopping abyss, this is it. Overall, the food is good, but not good enough for the price point. A beet salad with six slices of beets and a bunch of tasty toppings should not cost $ 11. This isn’t Manhattan. I had the pesto crusted sea bass and was disappointed. It looked beautiful, and the pesto crust and beurre blanc were delicious. But the fish itself was badly cooked and unseasoned. For $ 35, I expect to get a piece of fish that’s cooked way better than I could cook myself, and this wasn’t. Also, the sea bass came with what I’ll call«suburban style wasabi mashed potatoes,» because the wasabi was virtually undetectable. Sad, because I love wasabi. My husband had lobster ravioli,. which had an impressive amount of lobster and an impressive lack of grease, but the pasta was so undercooked it was tough.

What a fun and cool place in the most random location! I’d go back, definitely. Fun interior, good service and food but I can’t get over the location by Ridgedale Mall… so strange. I ordered the Penne Sausage Cream and Red Sauce dish(can’t remember the name) and it was great. I ordered a small size and when I got it, wished I had ordered a large. However, my eyes are often bigger than my stomach and was perfectly full after polishing off the small dish. Just the right amount of sauce to noodle ratio and I’m a big sauce fan so was happy with it. My mom ordered the sea bass and the flavor was great on it. It was slightly undercooked and if it were on front of me instead of her, I would have sent it back. I wouldn’t order that dish as the sides on it were weird. Wasabi mashed potatoes aren’t my jam though. My dad had the spaghetti and meatballs… delicious! I would have asked for more sauce but the noodles were fine to perfection and the meatballs were great. It can be hard to find a good meatball so we were pleased. I’d go back!

I wish Unilocal have the option to give half stars. If that’s the case, I would give this place a 3.5 stars. The service is great though so I chose 4 stars over 3. 1. The crab cake on the appetizer menu was very good. It’s very meaty, lots of crab and has a pretty good flavor. 2. I had the Linguine Di’Mare — it’s essentially seafood pasta in a saffron tomato broth. The broth was a bit salty for my taste. There were almost more seafood than pasta :) My friend’s Braised Lamb Linguine was very good though! 3. It end up being a meal on the pricier side — there are other places in Twin Cities I would prefer to go over this place, but it certainly wasn’t bad. I may go back again since it’s so close to me. The atmosphere was great though — perfect for dates, business meetings, and etc. They seem to have a decent selection of wine as well.

The food is always spot on. The tomato soup is the best I’ve ever had. Had great salads and white fish here as well. The environment is a bit stuffy for my taste but most people like it’s fanciness. It’s a classy joint and has great service. Reasonable prices. Looking forward to coming back
