Literally the worst Wallgreens Pharmacy that exists. Getting a prescription refilled is a long horrible experience. The Pharmacist are not knowledgeable. I have had pharmacist literally tell me their store can not refill a popular asthma inhaler. I’ve had prescriptions refilled and then I go pick them up and they give me the wrong medication. This last experience was awful per usual, but a little over the top considering the Pharmacist literally hung up on me when I questioned why their store was not able to refill an inhaler prescription.

Run of the mill Walgreens… It’s got a big parking lot and like others have said two Red Box, but one of them always seems to be broken… It’s 24 hours and is convenient right off Chicago Ave, but there are questionable cats in the parking lot regularly, let’s just say I wouldn’t leave my car running when I swing in for a quick item. They do have Apple Pay, but unlike other terminals I’ve used it still requires you to use the pin pad for selecting credit/debit and to OK the amount. I only stop out of necessity, the prices are just too high in comparison to Target or Cub.

I used to go to this Walgreens because it is the closest one to my house, unfortunately, after being shortchanged of my prescriptions once, and being told they could not get my prescriptions, after waiting for them to be ready, a second time, I don’t think I’ll be going back. To be honest, the store isn’t well kept at all, and apart from the long waiting in line for prescriptions and checkout, there’s nothing that stands out about this store.

The WORST pharmacy I have ever been to… Not only was I told the wait would only be 10 minutes(and it’s 45 and counting) but every other person after me said something along the lines of, «It’s still not ready? They told me it would be ready 3 hours ago!» Then the guy behind the counter would say, «Yeah, we’ll get that done for you in a couple minutes.» WTF? If it takes that much time to fill a script why isn’t it done by now??? Never, ever, ever, ever, EVER coming back!

I come here because its around the corner from me. They sell some teething Homeopathic’s that I find very effective. There nothing special here. The Red Box is nice. It’s on the bus line. I’m not sure I can say more. Oh yea they sell cheese balls here. :p

Overall this is a pretty average Walgreen’s. I’ll confess that as a teenager, one of my first jobs was working as a «beauty advisor» at a Walgreen’s… so maybe I have unusual expectations, but when I worked there I was expected to greet any customer that passed me in an aisle and ask if they needed help, etc. While the employees here aren’t unhelpful if you approach them with a question, they’re not as outwardly friendly as I might expect. The makeup area in this Walgreen’s is particularly awkward because there’s an extremely long checkout counter in front of 80% of the make up — maybe that’s to decrease shoplifting? I found it annoying as I couldn’t see half the products and no employees either gave me the ok to go behind the service counter or offered to help me with the out of view items… I’ve also used the pharmacy at this location, which can occasionally have a longer wait time since they seem to only have 1 or 2 staff back there. There is a redbox out front which is handy. The parking lot is not very well lit in my opinion, which makes me avoid this particular Walgreen’s after dark if I’m by myself.
