I am visiting the city and found this via the Happy Cow app. I forgot already the bane of the smoothie, but it had kale, banana, berries and nut butter. Very filling and yummy. They have a nice selection of juices, cleanse juices, and salad bowls. The salads all are vegan friendly. I recommend it. I also recommend the Happy Cow app– it is excellent at helping find vegan friendly and juice bars around the world.

This juice bar is so cute and I love the interior(so picturesque)! The staff here are really nice and friendly. The girl who helped my friend and I out explained all their juices and gave us great suggestions. I came here specifically for their acai bowls which I was so excited to try. However, it was only 11 am and they were already sold out :(I opted for a chia pudding and Glow Greens juice instead. The chia pudding was good and the perfect amount for breakfast/post-workout snack. The juice was delicious and was great to have to rehydrate on our walk around Lake Calhoun. I enjoyed what I ordered but not gonna lie, it’s expensive. I don’t know if I can justify paying for it again, especially when I feel like I can make some of it myself — maybe not the juice but the chia pudding for sure.

$ 12 Acai bowl that was SMALL for the price and very little taste. Acai tasted more like frozen bananas that had been in the freezer too long. My advice would be make your own acai bowl from acai concentrate you can purchase at Costco!

I’ve lived around the corner for a year and finally went into Truce last week. A friend of mine started juicing at another place and I decided to dip my toe into drinking more juice. She gets her juice for $ 9 a jar(it’s usually $ 10 but when you sign up for a weekly CSA you save a dollar) and it’s good juice. I liked everything I tried. I thought that it was pricey, until I remembered Truce. All the juice here is organic and it’s at least 1 or 2 oz more. So for now, I’ve decided to juice here. Also, yeah, $ 9/$ 10 is a lot for juice. However, they don’t extract the juice in the way most places do and that’s why it’s not made to order. They have to do a bulk amount in the morning because it’s not chopped and spun but literally pressed between plates so hard the juice comes out. This process is much harder and expensive and it allows a fresher, nutrient dense juice. I would argue it always tastes better when it’s pressed not spun… especially when it comes to coconut water.

As much as I enjoy good quality food i also eat very clean and love my juicing. While in Minneapolis I sought out fresh juice bars and came across Truce Organic Juice Bar in Uptown. That’s right, certified organic fresh pressed juices. Now with that tag of certified organic the juices can get a little pricey but hey if you love the quality of what you put in your body, price doesn’t matter. I ordered the Cocobombe which is coconut meat and water. Kind of like a milkshake but very refreshing with lots of potassium. Next I ordered easy greens which is kale, cucumber, Apple and lime. Very refreshing, zesty and a little earthy but the benefits are amazing. Green vegetables cleanse the blood Lastly my friend ordered the morning greens which is apple, kale, spinach, romaine, cucumber, lemon, and ginger. They opted for a smoothie which is basically the juice blended with berries. They thought it was going to be sweeter but it was more tart than they expected but again, the benefits are amazing. I love this place but for three juices I ended up spending $ 30. I would recommend to anyone that loves healthy eating and juicing as they have soups, salads and acai bowls as well.

As an expensive juice bar, this is an occasional treat for me. I always feel great leaving truce. The employees are super friendly, nice. They helped me the first time I was there and didn’t act snooty or judgmental like some places in uptown. I had a delicious drink the first time I went there. The bar has an adorable aesthetic to it. I feel healthy, happy, energetic, and ready to take on my day.

I’m a big fan of truce juice, I first tried one at my yoga studio. The Juice is expensive($ 10 a juice) but it is fresh and delicious. I love the morning greens and lots more I want to try. It’s a great way to start your day! I also had the almond granola bar and it was delicious. As a big fan of fresh juices and smoothies, I wish more or these existed around MPLS. I will be back.

Totally love this place! Love the design and concept — it’s great to find a quick yet healthy option in uptown. The drinks are super fresh and inventive. Plus the extra energy and fullness it gives is the added high! Prices are expensive at $ 10 a bottle but worth the work they put in it!

Moderately priced, great fresh juices. The nut milks are nice and naturally sweet. The spicy cacao almond milk with cayenne is my favourite. Tastes like a healthy milkshake and makes cleanse days bearable! Plus they play great music — unknown mortal orchestra and tame impala both on while we were there!

I have been looking all over for a Juice bar in the Minneapolis area(preferably with açaí bowls), and I finally found one nearby! They are all over the place — my favorites in the west coast or Hawaii, but barely getting to Minneapolis now. I found TRUCE through their Instagram account, which drew me into their store because of their salads, smoothies, juices and açaí bowl pictures that looked really tasty. I have a major appreciation for healthy juice bars that serve juice and healthy foods. I have a sensitive stomach, and they rejuvenate, energize and make me feel awesome! My first impression was that the space awesome(very picture worthy!). I loved their white interior with dark wood. I have definitely grown another high appreciation for well designed brands, spaces, etc. being that I am a graphic designer, so thank you for that! I’ve met a couple staff members, even the owners, and they are all super nice, welcoming and friendly! I decided to go with an açaí bowl(I’ve tasted both options) and the cocobomb juice. The juice was SOGOOD. I’ve also tasted some green juices and they are all so refreshing and tasty! The açaí bowls could be sweeter, and I would love to see them add more topping choices(blueberry, chia, honey, nut butter, etc.), or choices that blend in mango, pineapple, or other fruits into the base of the açaí like my favorite juice bars provide. This would definitely add more sweetness to the bowl options, and I think the bowls would be much more popular if they added more of these options. For the pricing, I do agree with everyone else that it seems to be a little high — around $ 9 for juice/smoothies + extra charges for additions and $ 11 for açaí bowls… BUT I am so willing to pay that price for healthy, whole food that makes me feel good. Honestly, the prices don’t bother me too much because I’d rather pay for quality. Overall, 4 stars because I think they are on their way! I would love to see more sweet açaí bowl choices though! I’ll definitely be visiting TRUCE whenever I get the chance! I would love to see more places like this come to Minnesota, because we are definitely lacking them!

It’s a little over priced for the produce. I understand it’s Minnesota but marketing a product as fresh when it’s prepared hours before is misleading. Not much room to sit and no outdoor space makes it a little disappointing for being in Uptown. In more of a neighborhood setting and the building is to close to the street to add a patio. Very cold place, almost like a hospital but the place is extremely clean.

I want to love this place because it’s local and it’s some really awesome women making their dreams come true. Also, it’s literally around the corner from my house so it’s unbelievably convenient. But I can’t love it. The juices are intense. I was not made for juicing so I can’t do their cleanses. I wasted a lot of money on a few different occasions trying to begin their cleanses. Overall opinion: it’s not for me. Props to those of you who enjoy kale juice or beets straight up all week long.

Excellent customer service and great items that are very good for your health. I really liked the green juice I had. It has tons of good vegetables in it and very good for my mind body and soul. Try the maple water!

I haven’t read other reviewers’ thoughts about this place, but I suspect their concerns are the same as mine. Price. When I lived in Tacoma, Wash., I could buy a large, freshly blended vegetable juice for less than $ 6. Here, it’s nearly $ 10, and it’s NOT freshly blended. That’s because all of the«fresh» drinks are prepared first thing in the morning and placed in containers. This robs customers of two important elements regarding such drinks: true freshness and the ability to choose their own favorite ingredients. Because these drinks are pre-made, there’s a good chance what you buy will contain the juice of a fruit or vegetable you don’t particularly love. That was the case for me. If the drinks were about $ 6 each and were fresh, I’d come here five or six days a week and would spend about $ 40 a week. Because they aren’t, I’m going to treat visits here as a luxury and spend about $ 10 a week. I don’t know what the owners’ expenses for fresh produce are, as I’ve not been in Minnesota long. I can only relate my own experience at this place, and my eyes got wide in a 1940s-style«AaaahOOOOOOga!» cartoon moment when I saw the prices. Again, I don’t know what the costs are of operating such a place, and I’m glad my neighborhood has one. Every neighborhood should have a similar place, as drinking fresh veggie/fruit juice can help a person so much. So give this place credit for both its great service and the simple fact that it exists.

I tried Truce for the first time recently and I would say based on my first impression, it’s OK. I actually stopped in for an Acai Bowl, something that appears to only be sold at Truce… I’ve literally googled places in the entire state of Minnesota and found nothing.– if anyone knows other places that sell Acai bowls, LMKASAP. I ordered the House Acai Bowl and even though it was good, it was not the best Acai Bowl I’ve ever had. There were still frozen chunks of Acai in my bowl so it kind of ruined the experience for me. I also would have preferred granola instead of so many crushed almonds. The bowl itself was around $ 10 — so pretty expensive. The juice selection was limited, but very similar to the types of flavors offered Whole Foods. Parking is easy and free around the Juicery. The place itself is very cute and the staff are nice. Overall, I’d say I’d return if I was REALLYREALLYREALLY craving an acai bowl and too lazy to make one on my own. Other than that, I feel like the price point is just too high for the product line. Again, it’s hard to give this a higher rating when I visit California so often… where places like this are a dime a dozen and offer more product choices at a lower price. However, I will say that I appreciate Truce for even offering the option to order an Acai bowl. Stuff like this does not come by easily in Minnesota.

As soon as I enter Truce, the first words that come to mind are«foofoo». I know – where on earth did that word come from? I have no idea, and quite frankly, I’m starting to question my own sanity – did I just make that up? No, it can’t be. Whenever in doubt, Urban Dictionary is the way to go. I typed that ish up, and foofoo IS a real word. HA. It’s like a mixture of frilly, fancy, and elegantly fruity(now I just sound like a poet). You get the point; like an upscale restaurant in a juice bar form. But real talk. Truce radiates the chill vibes belonging to that of a juice/smoothie bar you would find out in Cali. The inside just feels fresh and healthy like Jonathan T. said. I’ve had the Easy Greens juice(kale/cucumber/apple/lime) which is extremely refreshing and leaves me feeling«detoxed»(I know *insert eye-roll*). What really makes me a Truce fan is their Coco-Berry Acai Bowl – acai, banana, coconut, almond milk, and cacao are blended as the base, which is topped off with banana, coconut flakes, walnuts, cacao nibs, and fresh berries. Just picture the girl in the York Peppermint Patty commercial – the windblowing in her hair, goosebumps forming – that is me. I honestly can replace a shower with that acai bowl – that’s how refreshing it is. The cacao nibs add the perfect crunch and hint of sweetness, and the berries are plump and juicy. I would stay away from the smoothies though since they’re way too thinned out. Truce uses high quality ingredients, which explains their incredibly huge price tag. Almost everything on their menu is $ 9+ which although their ingredients are top quality, I still think it’s overpriced. I’ve tried to make my own acai bowls at home to save money, however, I can never get it to taste as good as Truce’s. All in all I’m a big fan, and they’re pretty much the only juice bar in MN that executes their concept well. However, it’s not a place I can frequent much due to the high prices.

Coming from the west coast aka SoCal, I’ve had my fair share of Acai bowls, Pitaya bowls, Banzai Bowls, etc. I recently moved to the twin cities expecting to not find anything of the sort. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place just added Acai bowls to their menu… so of course, I had to try it! First, I’d have to say that the Acai bowl is pretty expensive($ 10.75). Back in SoCal they were probably around $ 6-$ 8 depending which type you got. That is expected, though, because I noticed that all the food in Minnesota is more expensive than I am used to. Second, the bowls in SoCal had way more toppings than the bowl at this place! They would have honey, multiple types of berries(not just strawberries), coconut shavings, banana, almonds, granola, and more. Here’s a tip: the granola makes it 10x better! Lastly, I would say that the taste is so-so. Not as sweet, less toppings, and more dollars spent, but I don’t regret trying! Besides that, major kudos to this place for making the Acai bowl available on the menu. The ladies working here are nice and the place is cute.

If healthy had a smell, I’m sure it would resemble something like the inside of Truce. The fragrance of greens and fruits being juiced permeates into the main room. And speaking of the main room, it’s small and minimalistic with some tables scattered about. Everything on the menu is EXPENSIVE, but I guess that’s the price for juice made fresh that day.(Haven’t we all paid a lot of money for an awesome meal, though?) I ate a crappy breakfast burrito that day and needed something to rejuvenate me. I bought two and here are my brief reviews on them: –The Hardcore Greens(kale, cucumber, chard, celery, parsley, and lemon): Yum! Love me some greens! While I don’t mind pungent smelling and strong tasting juices, I’m sure others don’t. No worries! This green drink is masked by the slightly strong taste of lemon. –Immunity(carrot, beet, ginger, and orange). Super spicy with a nice kick! It’s a drink that will make a person grow some chest hair! This would go wonderfully with tequila… Aside from the drinks, the person working behind the register was super friendly and helpful. While I would love to purchase a bottle every morning, the price point deters me from going there regularly. I’ll stick to my juicer for now. But if I’m in the area and need a healthy and refreshing drink, I’ll, of course, consider Truce.

Truce is a great little addition to Uptown that is definitely worthy of a trip for any health minded folks. Guys, you feel GOOD about yourself drinking these juices. And they taste good too! I like to think of it as a personal nectar of the gods(me) after a crushing workout. My personal favorite is the Roots juice, which is a combo of carrots, oranges, beets, and ginger. Great after a workout. I know someone who swears by the Morning Greens as a hangover helper. They also do juice cleanse packages, which aren’t my thing but they seem to know what they’re doing. Also, the packaging is so clean and stark I swear Dieter Rams owns the place. You’re right, it’s pricey at $ 9 a juice, but there’s enough fruits and veggies in it to make a decent meal. I do wish that staff was a little friendlier and that the benefits of each juice was more easily available(packaging or signage), but Truce is a great little post-workout treat yo self when you’re in the area.
