Great bar, great service, great food. Been coming here for about a year and I have never been disappointed. Great happy hour. 60 cent wings on Mondays and they are delicious. The overall atmosphere is fun, diverse and cohesive. A good choice for any occasion.

Pretty fricken amazing burgers!!! Parking lot, balloon animal guy for kids on Saturdays and pretty fast service. Our food came out pretty quick and we got a table right away on a Saturday at 7pm! I highly recommend the tailgate burger. I got mine without the bun. This is a sports bar with sports bar prices. Fantastic. Just wish it was a tad closer!

This is my favorite bar for bar food! Their homemade soup is excellent and all their menu items are on point! Great place to eat.

Terrible service. I’ve been there twice and the bartender was not friendly at all! Sat at the bar for 10 minutes while she totally ignored us, on her phone and one 2 other people at the bar, we finally got up and left. THEN she«saw» us. Will never go back

Watched the Superbowl here on Sunday. Crowd was great and food was really good for a bar(good fries) and prices were reasonable. Waitress(Jenna I think) was really funny and service was good. This is close to home so will be coming back.

Warm beer, but the food is typical/good like any other sports bar. The wings are good… meaty and filling. I’m kind of a wing fanatic so I come here once a year or so just for some«different» wings. But, for the past 3 to 5 visits or so the last 5 years, I’ve always gotten draft beer and the beer was always just a bit chilled but served in a room-temperature glass. So, on this visit(Dec 2015) I decided to get a bottled beer in hopes I would get a cold beer. Wrong. I drank ¾ of it and gave up. They have a few local beers but mostly the big names otherwise(sigh). If your a sports and TV grill and bar person, this is your environment… if you don’t mind a chilled beer.

This place serves its purpose. It has decent pub food at cheap prices. It is a great, towny style place, to watch the game. There’s always seats, and the service is quick.

The locals are snobs and the bartenders are not friendly at all. The wings are very good but it’s not pleasant with miserable people.

Went there for the first time to watch Sunday night football and while it was surprisingly quiet(maybe because it was a Packer game…), the TVs all around the bar and restaurant could be seen from anywhere which was great. Nacho special was a deal, delicious burgers and I had a salad which was loaded with toppings. It’s always refreshing to find a salad that will actually be filling! This is a place that I will probably go back to for the next football game.

Very good American food the pulled pork sandwich and waffle fries are among the best I’ve had anywhere. Well staffed with happy people who seem to care.

I had been to Tailgate probably 10 years ago and it really didn’t leave an impression on me. I decided to try it on a recent Saturday night mostly because it’s pretty close to my house. I went with my wife, son, and two friends for dinner. What we discovered is that kids eat for free on Saturdays and there was a guy making balloon art/sculptures which were kind of mind blowing. The waitress was great. Food-wise, the dry rub jerk wings were really interesting(in a good way). I tried the New York Strip dinner and that was pretty decent. I also sampled the Portland burger and found that to be delicious. As mentioned in other reviews, it’s standard bar food. If you’re looking for a neighborhood bar/restaurant that’s affordable and lacks pretense this is your place. There are dozens of TVs too so would be a great place to catch a game.

Great service! The food is very good as well. The menu options and flavor/quality is definitely better than I’ve had at other neighborhood bars/restaurants. Great music, enjoyed the atmosphere and busy even on a Sunday afternoon. I also had the Cajun sandwich with coleslaw… very nice portion size. Shared the cheese fries… Reasonable prices with menu items that range from $ 5 – 20.

This is a great place to watch a game on the weekend. The food is decent and the staff is crazy friendly. More often than not, they have liquor reps hanging out on Saturday and Sunday during games handing out free alcohol, t-shirts and other booze marketing schwag. Great for big crowds and families. The prices here are very reasonable and it’s just a fun vibe for sports fans. Good place.

Great spot for happy hour or to watch the game. Lots of TVs and plenty of different options for seating(high-tops, booths, etc.) They always seem to have drink specials and the staff is super friendly. There are some real gems on the menu if you know what to get. Burgers are exceptional. Salads are sneaky good. Wings are always top notch.

Gosh I miss this place. I moved away from the area and boy do I miss their wings with their blue cheese dressing. I love the fact that they give you a vat of dressing with a normal order of wings. The Cajun wings were my favorite. The service was okay, I preferred to do takeout.

Wow! Had a blast. Stopped in and grabbed a burger, fries and beer. Lots of people, lots of great service. The food was amazing! I didn’t expect it to be so delicious! I love it. I will be back. I can even smoke in the back and chill.

Good food. Slow service. We waited 5minutes by the hosting station to be sat. Ended up sitting ourselves.

A seriously nice and hardworking wait staff. Every Tuesday, a group of us touch footballers trots in like we own the place, rearranging tables and making a ruckus. All 20+ of us receive separate checks. Not an ounce of attitude is detected, and one particular waitress remains high-energy and jovial throughout the service. But, truth be told, the food is standard bar food, which is not a «cuisine» that excites me tremendously. On Tuesday’s, they’ve got half price burgers. Kinda wish they offered a veggie burger. Instead, I request a veggie wrap, rather than the Italian veggie sandwich on their menu, which I’ve also ordered. It’s a special request, and I appreciate this loads(again speaks to their great service). It suffices as a belly-filler, but it’s certainly not crave-worthy – maybe not even«good»(but, again, physical activity precipitates a decline in food standards). They’ve got beer, but they’ve also got a small selection of wine. I ordered a wonderfully refreshing glass of Chardonnay at under $ 5 for a generous pour. Tailgate is a clean establishment, with plenty of screens to play all the big games, even giving the Little League World Series(Biloxi vs. East Texas) some screen time. It’s not at all divey nor hip and trendy. Just your run-of-the-mill humble sports bar.

We just wandered in… We were out and about on a Friday night and tried to hit up a different joint, but it was packed, so we found this via Unilocal, so we popped in. I was pleasantly surprised! I expected a loud joint focused on race car themes from the outside. That is not what we found. The tables were mostly empty and there were a few spots at the bar available so we took a seat. We each had a couple of drinks, which were made well. We chatted with the bartenders and some of the other patrons. It actually seemed like a place a lot of people go alone. I saw probably 4 people eating and drinking at the bar by themselves. I used the restroom and it was very clean. Sadly, when I came out my husband had paid the bill and said, «ready to go?» Actually, I wasn’t. It was really nice to walk into a place, not know anyone, but still feel welcome. If I lived near this place, I would go there all the time, but if we are in this neighborhood again, I would more than likely stop in again for a snack and watch a game!

I love this place. For one thing, it’s right in my backyard. For another, they have NTN trivia. I love using my noodle while I have drinks and snacks. Fantastic happy hour. 3−6pm weekdays features 2 for 1 beers(bottle or tap) and standard one pour drinks. The late night happy, 10PM to Midnight 7 days a week, is the same except no bottles of beer(I drink beer almost exclusively so I don’t know if you can only get rail drinks on special). Both have food specials — I really like the Nachos, Potato Skins, and the Chicken Wings. There are tons of TV’s so this is a great spot to tune in, espcially in the fall, when baseball, football, hockey, and NASCAR are on all at the same time. Karaōke 2 nights a week — Tuesday and Saturday after 9. Parking can be tricky during peak times — they don’t have the biggest lot. However, you can park on the street, and next door at Tires Plus in the evening/night time.

The first time I came here was a Sunday around Noon, I didn’t really know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Great crowd of football fans and a very welcoming atmosphere. I wasn’t really looking for my next favorite place to eat, I just wanted to watch the NFL Ticket and drink a couple beers. They only have 4 cable boxes which means only 4 different games at once, but they will do their best to accommodate requests. I can’t really speak to the food, we had the Super Fries only, which were tasty but nothing special. They have quite few reasonable specials for Sunday during the games so definitely options available. Next time the Packers aren’t on TV I will keep Tailgate on the list of places to spend a Sunday afternoon.
