MN Food Truck Fair – Blaine

There was way too much hype over this food truck fair.
It was only $ 2 for admission which was cheap and went towards a good cause for some children’s schooling benefit. Each beer ticket costed $ 6 which was a little steep, but to be expected at an event like this. I was really hoping to see TotBoss show up at this fair, but I saw the list and knew they wouldn’t be there. (secretly hoping inside they would come!!- if you haven’t tried them they are BOSS). It was a neat little set up, all the trucks arranged in a big loop.
A few things that turned me off.
–Lack of tables. There were only a handful of picnic tables and taller standing tables, and the food was not always easy to tackle while walking.
–Lack of shade on one of the hottest days yet this summer. There was one tent to get some relief from the sun. That was it.
Would I go again, yes. But I think I’d rather do a different location. At least in uptown you can go into the nearby shops for some relief from the heat.
