This review is for Marilyn Marmo, the salon’s esthetician. Upon entering, the salon as a whole is a very clean, welcoming atmosphere. The check in desk is promptly run and welcoming to the guests; it feels like a luxury salon. It has a modern interior, IS a luxurious place, but without breaking the bank or snobby attitudes that can accompany a stereotypical «luxury» salon. Marilyn’s waxing services can turn anyone’s opinion of waxing into a positive one. She is clearly passionate about what she does, and that shows in the experience her clients have. I have course, thick hair, on my head and (tragically) legs as well. Marilyn goes above and beyond to make sure I have a positive experience, despite the fact she’s ripping hair off my body! I love her small (but not cramped), intimate room, which always has beautiful wall art and calming music playing. It’s a total zen zone; partnered with Marilyn’s dedication to her craft, it’s a great experience all around. If you’ve never been waxed before, or waxed by Marilyn, you’re missing out on no longer spending time shaving and her rescuing your skin from ingrowns, razor burn, and anything else it’s been through. She’ll also save your eyebrows! Don’t go around with tragic brows anymore when Marilyn will reshape and/​or tint them, and of course they will look natural and match. Highly, highly recommend her!

I went for a spray tan today and they did a great job! It was easy to get an appointment, the tan was applied evening, the coloring was beautiful, and best of all, it was $ 30– $ 40! This is less expensive or very competitive with other places in the city. I will definitely go back.

Annie is the greatest! I followed her here from another salon, which thankfully only added a few minutes to my drive. But heck, the quality and care that she gives is so amazing that I’d probably follow her to Canada if it came to that! (hopefully it won’t, eh?)
She does awesome work on highlights, and her cuts are super cute. And she’s the ONLY stylist — in all my many years of trying different stylists/​salons — who can comb through the snarls in my «world’s thickest hair» without it hurting! Not even *I* can claim miraculous pain-​free brushing on my own self! She’s gentle, friendly, and super talented. Very glad I found her, and I won’t go to anyone else!

Annie is FANTASTIC!
I love getting my hair cut, and eyebrows waxed with Annie –I’ve been going to her for years! She has this attention to detail that I haven’t ever had in a stylist. This is super important for men’s cuts, there’s so little room for error. I’m going to Annie the next time I need a dye. Time and money well spent!

I followed Marilyn from Salon Junallo to here and as always she’s a wonderful, professional esthetician. Still the least painful waxes I’ve ever gotten and she’s still an excellent conversationalist. The salon itself is fairly new and while I had some trepidation about visiting due to prior visits to this shopping center to grab chipotle for my husband yielded an adventure in parking, the salon has their own marked spaces if there’s a lack of parking in unmarked spots.

I’m new to the neighborhood and decided, even though I’ve gone to the same fabulous stylist for a few years, that I wanted to stay «local» and start building relationships in my new neighborhood. (my old stylist is 25 miles away)
I noticed that a new place opened a couple blocks from my home and decided to check it out. I first went in to get some general information and check out the salon. I was greeted by a fabulous receptionist who talked to me about the salon and the services they provide. She spent time explaining the process and was very personable. The salon looked clean, tidy and did not have that cluttered look many places do. I went home to think about things and get the nerve to make the switch.
After a couple of days getting the courage to change hairstylists, I call ME and spoke again to the wonderful receptionist. I explained what services I needed and what type of stylist I was looking for. She gave me a few names to consider and I decided to go with Mr. Tommie Forcier. I was not disappointed.
Tommie has over 25 years of experience and was a joy to work with. He listened to my needs (I had both color and a cut) and gave his opinion to me when I asked. Tommie is professional but a lot of fun and made me feel at ease right from the start. I was very pleased with my color and cut.
ME is a very nice salon. I had a great experience with Tommie, but have a feeling the other stylists do good work too (for what I saw while there). I’ll definitely return and encourage others to try it out. I do not think you will be disappointed.
