Although they offer pretty cheap deals, the place is not always clean and the teenage girls working the front obviously haven’t been taught what customer service means. When people ask you questions, and you reply with a snarky attitude, it does not make me want to return.

This was my first visit it and I was impressed.
They have a variety of tanning beds. The studio was very clean, the staff was helpful in picking out a package, and they sell all sorts of lotions too.
They also offer mystic tan. A great option for those of us who are trying to fight off the aging process.
The packages they offer for the price are really good! Honestly some of the best I have found.
It’s tucked away on the lower level by Whole Foods.

PLEASE do not EVER go here. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had going to a tanning salon. I have been to plenty and never EVER have I experienced such arrogant, rude pricks as employees. If the owners only KNEW how these little high schoolers were running their business there is no way they would be employed. Don’t even get me started on the dirty towel laying on my tanning bed when I walked in as well as an un-​sanitized/​cleaned tanning bed. I could see the person before me’s sweat marks so I washed it myself. When I got in the bed a DEAFENING pumping stereo blasted form the room next door. It was from one of the friends of the «employees» who decided to tan. No one stopped the tanning bed rattling music as it went on for my whole 15 minutes. I will be steering everyone I know away from this place.

I LOVE Lakeside! I don’t tan in tanning booths anymore but still go here for spray tans and they’re amazing!
By far the best price for a spray tan that you’ll find and they’re customizable which is my #1 favorite thing about Lakeside. At other tanning salons, there is typically only 1 spray tan color, but at Lakeside they have light, medium, and dark so you can choose which level fits your natural color best in order to have a more real-​looking tan.
On top of that, the employees are always very helpful explaining how everything works and will give you opinions on how long you should be in the bed or how dark of a spray tan to try. Love it.
I go to school in St Paul now, but I still drive out of my way to come to Lakeside for tans :)

Love this place! Super clean and the staff is always very helpful. They do get busy so I would recommend scheduling an appointment, but this is by far the best spot for tanning in the south minneapolis area.
