I was craving Phở and this place popped up on Unilocal. One of the best Phở’s I’ve had in MN. Broth has a rich flavor. I was very surprised by how friendly and accommodating the staff is as well. Not only is the food really good but the staff is the friendliest I’ve experienced. I was fasting and they only do takeouts after 9pm, but they let me dine-in(they didn’t know I hadn’t eaten since 3am!). I will definitely return Phở some more :)

#1 egg rolls! This restaurant is never a disappointment. Fresh and delicious. Perfect locally owned family restaurant. If you like authentic Vietnamese food, this is your place.

I was in the city for a conference and walked over here from the hotel for some takeout food. Unfortunately I wasn’t hungry enough for a hot bowl of phở, so I opted for appetizers instead. In addition, I’m used to seeing all the different variations of meats, instead of just beef, meatball, and chicken when it comes to authentic phở. Cream cheese wontons were really good and for $ 5, you get quite a bit! Shrimp spring rolls were just so-so. The sauces they provided for each of my selections was delicious. Service was good too. Just wasn’t a place that would stick with me.

The food I ate was good, even though they screwed up my order. Service was bad but I’ll let that one slide because they seemed very busy at the time. I would eat here again.

I visited Minneapolis for a work conference and found this place. It was pretty good place that was within walking distance from my hotel. I had the wonton soup. The broth is a little sweet for my liking, but it was still good.

So far, one of my favorite phở spots and I feel like we’ve tried them all. Very tasty broth. Very good and friendly service! Also ordered cream cheese wontons and pork egg rolls which were yummy.

Great tasting shrimp spring rolls. Very fresh and flavorful. The phở is really good tasting and very fresh. It’s a small place, but the service is fast. Probably the best meal I had in Minneapolis. Fairly inexpensive and good portions.

Came here for lunch and ordered their Spring Rolls and Barbeque Pork Phở. The spring rolls weren’t good. In my opinion, they were underseasoned in terms of incorporating herbs, resulting in quite a bland spring roll. On top of that, the actual wrap was extremely tough and chewy, which was an indicator that the spring rolls had been made a while before I ate them. Their peanut dipping sauce for the spring rolls was also way too sweet; it needed more hoisin or oyster sauce to balance it out. The phở is what brought my review back to 4 stars. Although not the best phở I’ve ever had, as it was a tad sweet and the lime wedge was not fresh(was kind of dry and not juicy), it was still delicious, had plenty of meat, and they provided everything you need to bring up the spicy level at the table.

This is a neighborhood Vietnamese place with a nice, small diner atmosphere and appeal. It was very busy with eat-in and carry out customers, which is always a good sign. My Bahn Mi did not disappoint. Fresh, balanced, traditional, with thin sliced pork and veggies. The bread was crusty, but soft and light inside. The flavor profile was nicely layered and spot on! The phò was flavorful, but just a tad sweet for my taste. I always add a lot of Sriracha and chile garlic paste, so it balanced the sweet. The other flavors were all there, and I enjoyed the comfort food feel of the rich Broth and noodles. They must’ve given me 4 cups of vermicelli noodles, and I ate less than a cup! The beef was tender, but a little bland. They gave a nice amount of sprouts, Thai basil, Cilantro, and jalapeños. If I lived in Minneapolis I wouldn’t hesitate to put the Lotus on a regular rotation!

This place was excellent! The food, the speed, the service. Dave was a hoot and super helpful! We tried the cream cheese wontons and I got the Phở. The cream cheese wontons are everything I hoped they would be for a cheap unhealthy appetizer! If I’m going to go unhealthy, make it worth it! And they were good… hot and creamy on the inside, crispy on the outside and didn’t feel or taste overly greasy(impressive being that I’m sure they were deep fried). I got the House Phở as well… let me tell you. if I lived in Minnesota, I would be stopping here probably on a weekly basis for this stuff. It’s a little bit sweet and filled with so much goodness. It’s a HUGE bowl. I can put food away, but I could not finish this… I took it with me and rather than throwing it out since our hotel had no fridge, I obviously had to finish it… you don’t let House Phở go to waste, even if you are ridiculous full. My friend got the Sesame Chicken, which Dave(server) said he really liked and he had a special way of ordering it… I can’t remember the specifics now(I think it had something to do with jalapenos), but if you’re there and you like spice, ask them to make this Dave’s way. Fast forward to the next day where we came back to Lotus.(That says something in itself, as I love to explore new places, but I found myself dreaming of more Lotus). I tried the Pad Thai lunch portion the next day. It’s still a good size portion and it was good! I love the cilantro and the noodles and chicken were done well, not overcooked and chewy. This is a place you can’t miss in Minnesota. Thank God for Unilocal or I probably would have never found this little gem that was super close to our hotel. Strip mall food places aren’t exactly the most reliable places, but this place is a «don’t miss.» I’m pretty sure they’ve ruined me to anyone else’s Phở. Thanks Lotus.

DoorDash was fast & delivered my dinner HOT& in a timely manner! 5 stars for them! I ordered the Phở with all the fixins then added a generous squeeze of fresh lime & a couple tsps of spicy sirracha… Mmmm… Lotus’ phở has to be one of the BEST I’ve ever eaten. I went with the beef this time, which was tender & tasty, but may try another protein the next time I’m in town. You should definitely spring for the large bowl so you can take your leftovers home to enjoy again later. I also had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp which were also delicious!

Stellar. Huge portions, casual environment. Only drawback is that they are very often busy and parking was limited– didn’t affect me as I was walking over from the Hyatt. Ate here virtually every day of my trip. The food is so delicious, that you simply can’t get enough of it. There are some very nice restaurants right now the street, downtown is loaded with them, but honestly– the food nor the service compares to this location. It’s no surprise that virtually every review out of this place is 5 stars. Great people, will come here every time I’m in town.

Not bad! Solid phở, a bit soft-flavored probably backed off on the salt. Yummy spring rolls. Very conveniently located if you’re staying at the Hyatt.

Have been waiting to go here for years. Don’t understand how it took so long for the Lotus experience to finally happen. but holy phở, so happy it did! Sweet broth phở! I usually adore savory, but this is the place if you’re craving a really satisfying, inexpensive bowl. We came around 2:30pm, just in time for the *lunch special* which is 11am-3pm. Attached a photo of the deets. For just $ 8.99 I got a small size bowl of phở(just the right portion for all the other food you get with it), 1 spring roll app, and chicken fried rice. What a DEAL. Everything was as good, if not better than expected. Service was the best. Our server mentioned they were understaffed but I didn’t notice at all. There was the cutest little girl who was one of the owner’s/cook’s daughter running around, which was adorable accompaniment. My boyfriend comes here at least twice a week and I see why now — get the beef phooooo!

First time here. Service was amazing. Phở — even more amazing. This has been by far the best bowl of phở I’ve ever had. The broth was amazing. The noodles had the perfect bounce. Great place

Being from Hawaii we have a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and eat Phở even on the hottest days! I arrived in Minneapolis very hungry I have a lot of food allergies and was so happy to find a place that had so many options for my diet. I love this place and its in walking distance from the Millennium Hotel! The Phở really did warm my frigid soul! 48 degree weather yesterday and 35 degrees today! I’m going back again but this time gonna ask for less noodles the broth is life changing and I love that they put cilantro in it!

One word. Integrity. Have I ever been here? No. Let me explain. I have ordered Phở through a ‘food delivery’ service from here. This is my 3rd time. I just finished my bowl of delivered Phở. Every time the Phở was made and packaged exactly as I described. Yes, the delivery guy ordering gets credit too. But, let me tell you the Phở is always on point, the appetizer is always on point. This place, food wise(don’t know about service since gone through delivery only) has always been good. Please give this place a try if you’re nearby or want to order it through a delivery service!

So this little hole in the wall is amazing. Everything I’ve had here is amazing, and that includes Chow Fun, Fried Rice, and wontons, but the surprise star here is the Phở. I’m proclaiming Lotus To Go Go(yes there are two Go’s in their name, for some reason. Check the sign if you don’t believe me) has my all time favorite Phở. The broth has a unique, almost lime taste that makes me want to just pick the whole bowl up and drink away. Incredible Asian food that is so good, it’s my new gold standard for the cuisine.

Yum yum yum! I was a first timer here over the weekend and wondered why I hadn’t dropped by sooner. Yes, the parking stich stinks, but its so worth it to get your butt in here to try some damn good food. The fresh spring rolls are amazing(ask to mix them up with shrimp and bbq pork and thank me later) and the phở was out of this world. The broth makes it stand it from other phở I have tried in the twin cities. We finished off the meal with some banana wontons: holy crap. Get these. Immediately. I will be back very soon to eat more phở.

Ordered a small Phở with meatballs from here through Door Dash two nights ago. From having eaten at many Vietnamese places, I feel like the takeout here is not proportional. I got a small soup container of broth with 2 meatballs thinly sliced up(I usually get 5 whole ones if I get a small back home in Boston). And then the noodles came in a pint size takeout box. The soup to noodle ratio was way off and I actually finished the soup first and just ended up throwing away the rest of the noodles. With that said, the soup and noodles I did eat were tasty. The vegetables were mixed in with the noodles and came with two cups of sauce(siracha and hoisin). Maybe I’ll get a large next time and hope for the best!

The cold weather of Minneapolis has intensified my craving for warm bowls of noodle soups, which led me to Lotus. We were here during lunch time and the place was packed. The restaurant was small so the seating was limited. We were able to grab two seats at the bar, which was on the first come first serve basis. Parking may be troublesome during the busy hours because the lot in front of the restaurant was shared with many other businesses. The lunch option is a great way to try many different items on the menu. However, we only ordered the noodles soups by themselves. The phở was good, but it did not taste authentic. It was definitely more Americanized since the broth was quite sweet. I preferred the bun bo hue since the flavor profile of the soup was more balanced. The portions were generous. I was stuffed by the end of the meal!

I love Vietnamese food and the flavors were on point. Don’t judge a restaurant by what it looks on the outside. The inside is nice and friendly. The staff are nice people. You have to try the rice plates. It was either a rice plate or phở. I’m a bit skeptical about trying the Phở(although I heard good things) so I went for the rice plate. It was by far one of the best Vietnamese rice plates that I’ve had. Two thumbs up! I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

After eating burgers and sandwiches, I finally had some regular food! Went for the comfort food of chicken in black bean sauce with white rice. It was perfect, with the just right amount of gravy. I had to slow myself down, else I would have inhaled my food. I licked the plate clean! Chased down by a taro bubble tea. Other bubble tea options were mango and Thai iced tea. I will be back, this place is close to where I am staying!
