Great hotel! Clean, modern and a great location. Came here on business and enjoyed my stay, except when it came time to actually sleep! There’s a «night light» around the bathroom mirror that you can’t turn off. To make it worse the bathroom door is frosted so all night there’s a glow coming through to the room. Also, the carbon monoxide monitor has 2 green lights that flash every few seconds. Super annoying, please fix this! I may likely not come back to this hotel because of this reason.

Stayed here January 1 – 6. It’s my new favorite Minneapolis hotel! I used to stay at the Radisson Blu on the other side of the mall, but not anymore! The food is fabulous, both room service and restaurant. I haven’t tried the bar fare yet. The food was much better than I expected. Easy to tell the hotel employees were recently trained – they’re quite eager to please. But when I’m walking through the small lobby and there are about 8 – 10 employees standing throughout and they all say hi etc when I walk past, I feel like I’m somewhat being gawked at. It’s a little too eager, but I get it, they need to make sure the hotel opening goes well. There are some complaints on other reviews about internet not being free. It’s free if you register to be a Marriott member – easy peasy. Fitness room is alright, but the ambient temperature is too warm. The hotel room air vent(heat/ac) is louder than normal, but I actually found it an advantage as it blocked out the screaming children in the next room and nearby doors that close/lock loudly. I always travel with ear plugs, but didn’t need them at all; for me the white noise worked. I love the nightlights and dimmer switch in the bathroom lighting. Robes are thick and plush. But no slippers at this hotel – this is the first hotel I’ve been to that doesn’t have slippers(I called housekeeping and the front desk to ask). Parking $ 15/night sucks – this should be complimentary. I enjoyed my stay enough to head back again in a couple weeks. Next time staying on the executive floor to check out the lounge with food since their food is so good!

Wow! Nice digs. Had lunch at the Cedar & Stone restaurant in the new JW Marriott at the Mall of America. Great menu. Wife had a tasty burger w bacon & fried onions. I had their version of a Monte Christo that was delish. The coolest part of our visit tho’ was poking around the hotel lobby including two different bars and a few side rooms for larger or private parties. Very spacious. Incredible lighting & very modern chandeliers. Their Christmas decorations were awesome. Got a quick tour of one of their rooms. Again wow. Great views. Nice attention to details & décor. Very comfortable & inviting. Lots of staff available for guests. We are definitely coming back soon for a weekend stay.
