As a vegetarian, it’s insanely difficult to find a good veggie burger. There are some that aren’t bad but generally you can’t find one that’s spectacular easily. UNTIL I TRIED FRANKS! This is the best veggie burger I have had in a LONG time. You could tell it was freshly made, and not a frozen burger patty. I also tried their veggie philly which was good as well, although not as amazing as the veggie burger. Even if you’re not a vegetarian I would suggest trying it out. The gentleman (who I assume is the owner?) is very friendly, and I always have a great experience. I don’t usually leave reviews online for a place, but after trying this place I knew I had to!

I hate giving these kind of reviews and maybe other items on the menu are edible but the fish sandwich I ordered was the worst thing I think I’ve ever ordered from any restaurant or fast food place in my life. I don’t even know if it was a piece of fish or what it was. The tomatoes were cut huge and were disgusting, the tarter sauce was nasty, and the entire sandwich was just poorly made, sloppy, and ended up in the trash. Sorry to be so rude about it but that item should NOT be on the menu whatsoever. GROSS!!!

Stopped in again recently and had the Philly cheese steak and onion rings. The onion rings were decent but got cold fast. The Philly was something else. The ingredients were pretty good but the sandwich was so massive that stuff was pouring out of it and it eventually hemorrhaged and collapsed. These two items without a drink was like $ 9, which is a lot for this kind of greasy food. I want to like this place but I’m not sure this visit will encourage my frequency.

No one really knows about this place in my experience, but I think the dogs outshine a lot of other chicago dog options and the phillies are a complete surprise — I can’t say the authenticity is perfect, but there’s something so right so wrong about them.
If you need to get your grease on, this is really one of the better places to do it. I’d do a philly or a dog, not a burger.
