From the outside, this place is adorable. On the inside it is cute and home-y. Very casual. The warm olive/pita bread appetizer is something I crave now on a daily basis. I’d never had warm olives before but they were lightly cooked in a lemon/oil base with Italian herbs. I love olives and this just brought them to whole new level for me. For being such a small business, I was impressed to see the array of topping options for pizzas. The service was quick and the drinks/food were reasonably priced. You can’t go wrong here!

The pizza was really good! If you’re not too hungry(the pizzas aren’t very big) and don’t mind being a little unique with your pizza toppings I would definitely go! Great sauce, great cheese and great crust. However if you are hungry and are looking for just a pepperoni and sausage pizza I would go somewhere else.

Neighborhood favorite pizza place! I typically order the spicy feta spread, along with the Alfredo pizza & another pizza to feed 2 adults, with leftovers. The buffalo chicken is another favorite. Ordering pickup is always super speedy, but I would recommend dining in to enjoy the super fresh pizza. Monday & Tuesday special is half priced wine with purchase of 2 pizzas!

Fresh ingredients, crust and sauce are amazing and the pizza always comes out really tasty. We have eaten here many times more and the food is consistently good. Service is prompt. As others have noted, the salads are really good here… I know, who would have known? The hummus is an excellent starter as well. We eat here at least 2x a month.

Wood fire pizza has grown on me since moving to the Twin Cities and Element is one of the lesser known but delicious spots to indulge. Element is not hidden but can easily be missed if you aren’t looking for it. It is on located on a small wedge of land on Broadway in N.E. and the restaurant itself is pretty snug inside. They don’t have too much seating but you can take it to go. They have their own menu of pizza creations and then the build your own options. I love the Hawaiian Pizza(Canadian bacon, pineapple, and basil) and most recently I tried the special, which was an herb pesto pizza with a choice of two toppings. The guy in front of the oven is a master at what he does. Bubbly dough cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of cheese. The pizza can hold its own once cut into slices too. At similar locations, it can get thin and soggy.

Wood fired pizza. We had a pizza and salad. The pizza was flavorful, but the crust was soft. With a wood oven I was looking for a crispy crust. They have of street parking, there are 10 tables for two the can be moved around. Overall it’s good,

I have been on a pizza quest and I have found the holy grails of pizza at Element. This is truly the best pizza I have ever tasted, and I continually ask my boyfriend to go here with me. He obliges every time, because it is that good. I typically go for the margarita while he goes for something meatier. But let me assure you, both are spectacular. The pizza is also well priced. I would even consider it underpriced, because it tastes like a peace of heaven well worth my entire annual salary. Seriously, this pizza is good.

I have been eating here for several years and am never disappointed. My go to pizza is the BBQ chicken, and for an appetizer the spicy feta and hummus is delicious. The bits of pita bread that come with the hummus are seasoned perfectly. The staff is always friendly and attentive for dine in and prompt with carry out. I often pick up pizza and they have it ready within 15 minutes. This place is a must if you’re in the area!

Outstanding, well balanced pizza. Crust stands up to toppings better than Punch’s. Even the salad was well done. I tried the Fire, Wind, and Element. All were excellent.

I normally don’t care for pizza crust, but I couldn’t get enough of this. I loved the chewy crust. It was done exactly the way I like it. My friend had been here before and shared what she normally ordered so I copied and went the same route. The Bianco I loved because I am not a big fan of red sauce, so this garlic, no tomato sauce base suited my palate just fine. Topped it off with some fennel sausage and red onions. Yum! Again, the crust was the true delight for me. I chose the Buffalo Chicken for my husband. He must not have been all that hungry because he didn’t eat much of it, but said it was good. I had a bite, it had a tiny kick to it. Must have been the sauce. I have at least 3 – 4 different ones to try next time.

We grabbed a pizza to go and ate by the river. .. nice and close for a beautiful day! The pizza had a nice crisp crust, just the way I like it! The staff was great. I will say if you are in a hurry, order ahead. It is wood fired pizza that you can’t rush when they are busy.

I get dinner here about every week — usually pizza, but sometimes a salad. Their pizzas are thin crust with fresh, quality ingredients and a focus on taste, not quantity. I’m always happy with everything I get. They have a wood fired brick oven that makes the crust crispy and adds a good flavor. One of my favorites.

After driving by Element Wood Fire Pizza almost daily on my way to the gym, my boyfriend and I decided to stop for a quick pizza the other night after seeing the amazing Unilocal reviews. I didn’t realize the restaurant was pretty small and order at the counter, but was pleasantly surprised that the counter staff was very helpful and did not rush us at all. Since we couldn’t decide on one pizza, they suggested we get half and half(good idea!), so we ordered half Fire, half Northeast. We also ordered a Caesar style salad to split, partially to try the rosemary flatbread. The salad and flatbread came out very quickly. The salad was a perfect size to split, my only complaint is it only had one cherry tomato. Other than that it was just romaine lettuce and dressing, but I enjoyed the garlic-cheese flavor of the dressing and the salad was not overdressed. The rosemary flatbread was warm with crispy pieces of rosemary on top — delicious. The pizza came out shortly after we finished our salad. The crust was thin and crispy, but not soggy in the middle. There are plates piled on the table to use, and unfortunately, 2 of the plates on our table were not clean and had food crusted on them, which is why I am giving Element 4 stars instead of 5. Pizzas serve 1 – 2 each, depending on how hungry you are. We were not too hungry at this visit, so we brought a couple pieces home, and they reheated well in the oven. The service is quick, prices good, and food delicious, so we will be back!

Element is definitely a hidden gem found in the heart of Northeast. I’ll be honest, I had my doubts about this place but after one bite, I was hooked. I actually don’t even like Neapolitan style pizza because the sauce I usually too tangy and the crust is all chewy and burnt but it tastes different here. My two go to items are the Nordeast(tons of meat with red sauce) with roasted garlic and then the spinach salad with raspberry dressing and walnuts. The Nordeast is light and crispy on the bottom but is slightly chewy on the top. This is hard to explain over Unilocal but biting into this pizza is definitely an experience everyone needs to have. The spinach salad is a good complement to any of the pizzas and helps mix up the meal so it’s not carb city the entire time. There’s a private parking lot and street parking available. The staff are very nice and friendly and are helpful with the menu. This is truly a place to try when you are in Northeast!

Element is a sweet little spot, conveniently located just outside of the big city, in a sort of quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the highway system. The building itself is small and from the outside looks a LITTLE deceptive, making you think its a bit older or something… don’t know how to describe it. Inside, you have a polished wood interior, with a seating area for MAYBE20 people and a tightly confined ordering counter. It’s a bit charming, but seems to not seat enough for the quality of food. Speaking of food, this place is awesome. The pizzas, which come in one size, are all PERFECTLY sized for one person, bordering on «too big» for people with smaller appetites, but it worked perfectly for me. Speed of service was incredible with the pizzas coming out within about 3 minutes of ordering. You get just that right amount of burn/char on the bottom, with a still relatively«airy» thin crust. They give you just the right amount of substance: crust ratio on the pizza, as some artisany/wood-fire jonts like to attempt to «wow» you with the crust/baking style and skimp on the actual ingredients. Ingredients on all pizzas appeared to be extremely fresh. My one gripe about the food is that the menu was too small! In that I wish there were some other appetizers on there outside of Hummus and salad. The pricing is pretty spot on as well. I paid about $ 7 for my Napoli. Overall, I’d highly recommend this spot as a place to hit up in Minneapolis, I actually drove all the way from Eagan to give it a shot, lol.

Half price bottle of wine with two pizzas on Monday and Tuesday. Their pizza is great, but the price can become a little steep if you’re not paying attention. There is plenty of seating inside during lunch, but it can get busy around dinner time, especially on their patio. Small parking lot available, but on busier days you may want to park by the 1019.(But not in their lot!) I do not eat salad anywhere else except for here. Their Caesar salad dressing is fantastic, and the small portion is enough for two people to split before the pizza arrives. The service is always fantastic, and the staff is very friendly.
