I had never ordered from here I ate this pizza from a party and it was delicious but after the oder I picked up today the pizza was horrible and I called to give my opinion no business skills on how to treat a customer and as far as the pizza I know not to order from here again

Good, reasonably priced food. I recommend any and all locations. I have never had bad service or an attitude here, and the menu is 100% reliable.

Husband loved the train themed atmosphere, with the G scale train running overhead in the bar area. Wonderful pizza, had the Meat on Broadway, just the right mix of sauce and cheese, we chose the thin crust and it was delightfully crunchy without being scorched. Our server Brenda was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Definite worth a return visit for us.

I live and north and there aren’t a lot of options for sit down restaurants but this is by far my favorite pizza joint around! My mom never goes out to eat but this place she begs to go to every time she comes into town!

Broadway is a Twin Cities institution but I’m a little worried they are falling behind. They haven’t expanded into the craft beer scene as much as other pizza/beer joints, and the pizza is so-so compared to some of the other options around(Including both dive bars and the newbie Punch type places). The pizza is a little plain without much sauce and a little less tang than other spots. The service is good — the ambiance is a little dated. Sit in the bar area or in the unique train car in the second room. But don’t sit at the tables around the train car — the lights are really bright and uncomfortable to sit under. This is still a good option, but there are a lot of other options out there as well.

Hands down — the BEST pizza in the entire Twin Cities area. When I was a kid in the late 60s, long before it evolved into a full-fledged restaurant, this was just a neighborhood«drinking man’s» bar that my Aunt Joyce used to take us to. We weren’t supposed to be in there — but she managed to get us in to have some pizza. People came from miles around for this pizza, so there was always a wait. The bar was small and had only a few booths. We lived in Chicago, so we would go here when we were visiting. In fact, it became a tradition and was usually the first stop when we rolled into town. Since that time, I have always made a stop in when I’m in town and really look forward to it. Brings back a lot of great memories with one of my favorite Aunts.

Since I moved to Minneapolis recently I’ve been trying to find out the best local places for eats and drinks. Broadway pizza has been one of the places that I’ve actually came back for more. The service there is always great, with the last time especially so. I’m always indecisive when it comes to ordering food and give me too many options and I just freeze. That freeze moment happened when I was asked what kind of dressing I want for my salad. Not a big deal to most people but I froze and told Jessica(our server) to just pick one for me so she came back with two! Ranch, and Parmesan something(which is really quite good) because they were both her favorites. That kind of going above and beyond, plus the awesome menu made me give this place five stars :)

I’ve gone there twice in the past month and had an amazing experience each time. First of all, the people there are incredible and deliver some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. Their are super-friendly and eager to make small talk about the weather or whatever sports game or current event is going on. An electric train runs around the place on a track and the whole place has a neat train theme. They have a nice beer selection and all that but what REALLY is noteworthy is their pizza. Oh. My. Ghawd. I had their signature ‘everything’ pizza and it was terrific, but this last time my girlfriend and I decided to try one of their weird pizzas. So we tried the Pork & Sourkraut pizza on thin crust and it was MINDBLOWINGLYGOOD. It was calendar-cut and we ate all but 3 tiny pieces of it, and that was only because we couldn’t fit another bit in our faces. We took those three pieces home. Wow.

Great place to go for the lunch buffet! They haven’t changed their style for years. The guys at our office have created their own pizza speciality made that is always ready when we come in! It is called the«amigo» basically a Mexican pizza with hamburger, tomatoes, cheese, sausage, and jalapeño peppers. Ask for the«amigo» next time you go for lunch!

Fun place to go, love sitting in the«dining car» of the train set up when seated in the restaurant. It’s also fun to sit in the bar and watch the toy trains go in and out above the bar. They specialize in thin crust pizza, which is quite yummy. I agree that Broadway has the best thin crust pizza… I’ve taken friends from out of town here to this restaurant, and they love the food and fantastic views of the Minneapolis skyline overlooking the Mississippi River. If you are going for the first time, try to get there through West River Parkway for a very nice scenic route.

Love the original location in NE& sitting in the ‘caboose’ with or without the shorties. Sat night 9pm, this joint was packed w families, shorties & bday parties. Great family feel… I just enjoy seeing people laughing, chatting & inhaling pizza. Forget the New York crust, forget the Deep Dish… classic thin crust RULES!

I know people love this place and think their pizza is great. To me, its just ok. I’m not sure that it really stood out to my taste buds. Nice option for lunch with the pizza buffett and salad bar which I wish would get replenished a little more. I’m sure they do and were just busy the day we were there, but a tad frustrating when in a hurry to get back to the office. Service was a little spotty with the lunch buffett service. Refills of water were a little hard to come by, but our server was pleasant. Would swing back if in the area, but not sure I’d make the special trip.

BESTPIZZA. I’m from California. We have Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Lil Caesars, etc. Along with little pizza joints that offer faux NY style, Chicago, etc. We bought a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. It’s thin, yet has the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and meat. It had so much flavor, I can’t even describe it. The service was quick and the staff was delightful. My mom and I went to the bar side to watch some baseball for a minute and enjoyed a tall glass of Shock Top off the tap. All I can say is this is a great place for tasty thin pizza and beer. I really, really wish we had one on our side of the country.

I use to love this place. They have great pizza. That said, their online ordering system showed that they do delivery. I put in an order for delivery. The manager called and said she canceled the order because, contrary to what their website says, they do not deliver. The manager said I could«come down and get cash» or they could just reverse the charges. Of course my friends and I had been playing poker and drinking beer so none of us wanted to risk our or others lives by driving so we opted for them to reverse the charges. Of course I was told the charges would be reversed but they were not. I was charged $ 75 for food I never received. I used a debit card from an account I only use for entertainment(thus, I keep a low balance in it). I incurred 2 overdrafts because Broadway Pizza did not reverse the charges and I had made 2 additional purchases from another restaurant, assuming they had actually refunded the money. They need to fix their website or, if they won’t do that, they need to deliver when they accept a delivery order. That way, they avoid stealing from customers and/or causing financial fees for their outdated system. I’d say they are pretty shady. I will not eat there again because of this situation. That’s really too bad since their pizza is damn good.

The original location, well almost I think they moved once when the freeway was built. Just look for the train caboose out in front of the restaurant. It is easy to sneak in and out of downtown from this location and they have a decent sized parking lot with free parking. I do not think we have ever had to wait to get seating and if we did it was not very long. We have sat out some winter storms here and waited for after work traffic to subside. This is one of our regular restaurant stops. They are kid friendly and have a solid pizza and decent apps as well as free wifi. Tonight we were there for an early dinner and they had happy hour with $ 2 off apps.

In my opinion Broadway has the best thin crust pizza in the Twin Cities, thats why you should make this place a destination. They have a «NY» style crust which is thicker if someone else in your group doesn’t like thin crust pizza. I don’t think that it is really NY style pizza though, and while it is good I wouldn’t come here specially for it, however if you’re looking for a good pizza place in this area I would choose Broadway over other places. This location is a very neat looking place right on the upper Mississipi Riverfront and is very large inside, perfect for large groups. It’s got a big parking lot too. One tip I have for you is that while the riverfront location where Broadway is located isn’t a bad area you’re only 4 blocks away from some of the ghetto’s of North Minneapolis. So if you don’t wan’t to get robbed or harrased while stuck at a stop light I would advise only driving on the Northeast side of the river(opposite side of the river) or staying on West River Parkway.

I found my new pizza joint! This place is really good, probably as good as it gets. The thin crust is what they’re famous for– and understandably so. It was so delicious, very cheesy! I got the Classic Deluxe, with pepperoni, green pepper, sausage, mushroom and onion. The tons of cheese really is the best part. Also got the cheese bread. It includes 4 pieces of texas toast covered in cheese and served with giant tub of sauce. Pizza Heaven! Love Alert!

THIS Broadway Pizza is my fav in the metro! I have a couple other places that come close, but Broadway takes the win! The thin crust is perfect and sauce is fabulous — not too much, not too little. Toss red meat on one of those puppies and I have a smile on my face! Looking for an app? Cheesy bread with marinara. Yum! I have relatives in South Dakota and EVERY time they come, we take a trip to THIS Broadway. In addition to the pizza being delicious, the ambiance is just plain fun. You can sit in the caboose or the bar and watch the model train circle the restaurant above your head. Absolutely delicious!
