One of my favorite coffee shops in town. Delicious, quality drinks and food. All of the employees are incredibly friendly and the shop is very clean and well decorated. Perfect atmosphere for studying, working, and catching up with friends! Truly a treat.

Best breakfast sandwich in town! Order a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and you will not be disappointed. They make everything fresh and you can taste the difference! If you are being healthy and avoiding carbs, you can get two scrambled eggs, protein and cheese in a bowl. Delish. Coffee is not bad either. Cold press is strong and will get you going for the day.

Location 3⁄5: not super easy to find and reach, it’s in a building with other businesses. Interiors 4⁄5: nice atmosphere and look, but the place is not big and I think the use of space could be improved — a lot of chairs around me were available only because they exceeded from tables for 4 – 6 people were only 2 were sitted, and I didn’t see many smaller tables. Service 5⁄5: the guy at the counter was nice and the service pretty fast. Beverages 2⁄5: I only tried the Chai Tea(my favourite) and it kinda disappointed me… it was really similar to the one I make at home. Also, the large cup kept me away from a big percentage of the final foam. Prices 3⁄5: I don’t remember honestly, I think they are average with some small peaks on drinks. Wifi 5⁄5: regular well-working free Wifi with password. I may eventually come back to try some food and another beverage, just because it’s not completely fair to judge them all from one.

Great atmosphere, lots of space to sit, and a variety of seating – comfy couches in addition to table and chairs. The pour over Colombian was excellent, as was my breakfast burrito. I appreciated that they made it with egg whites as I requested. Also had a lemon cookie, baked there, that was delicious.

If you like real spaces, this is your coffee shop. A refreshing break from any chain coffee shop, this funky gem relies on well prepared food, baked goods and coffee to deliver a relaxed and honest experience. The always friendly staff and a variety of seating options/spaces make this one of my favorite destinations. Nicely done!

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee. A really enjoyable space as well, I’ve had a delightful time just reading a newspaper and have even had business meetings there.

Great place, albeit in an odd location, but once you find it you’ll come back again and again. You have to try the cranberry wild rice bread, as toast or on a breakfast sandwich. Full disclosure: I’m a huge sourdough fan, and their sourdough is pretty stinking good, but I stick to the cranberry wild rice bread just about every time. Coffee’s good, though they have changed suppliers(not by choice, the older one closed down, I believe). It gets busy during the week around lunch, lots of sandwiches and stuff, and there’s free live music on Saturday morning. That can get a little weird at times, but whatever, it’s free. Parking can be a drawback when it’s busy, but don’t let it keep you away.

I was working from home yesterday, but wanted to get out of my apartment so I headed over to Corner Coffee(after seeing its high ranking on Unilocal). I have to agree with most other Unilocalers that this place is really darling. Upon arrival, I plopped down my belongings on an orange leather couch with a table, then headed to the counter to order. Looking around, there were people scattered all over the café, but there were still plenty of places to sit — both couches/armchairs and tables. Since it was a chilly autumn day, I opted for the pumpkin spice latte. It wasn’t a bold pumpkin flavor, but good nonetheless, and I appreciated that it didn’t taste«syrup-y.» As a former barista, I can also add that it was frothed to perfection. I ended up working at Corner Coffee for 3 hours, well past the time it took me to finish my latte. It was cozy and quiet and I loved the eclectic atmosphere. A variety of people came and went — some in groups, some alone — but it never got crowded. Overall, I really enjoyed this little nook and will probably be lounged out there for many times to come.

This is a great neighborhood coffee shop with unique coffee blends. Full menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, soup, chili and salads. A real treat is fresh egg salad on Thursdays. If you choose to have your coffee ‘here’ rather than ‘to go’, get a china coffee mug and the first refill is free!

Corner Coffee is a great local coffee shop! The coffee is strong tasty. The bakery items are always hot and fresh. I have never had anything but good service from the friendly staff. There is free wifi and there is plenty of seating, with much of it near the window for a good shot of sunlight.

I really love this place. First off the atmosphere is great. Its an adorable little shop, and they occassionally have live music, which of the last two times I went(a friday night and a saturday morning) was really enjoyable. The people are friendly and I really enjoy their coffee(which you get atleast one free refill on while you’re there) I’ve tried the chicken salad sandwich and that was really really good. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, which was okay. The food items are a little pricey which is why I gave it a 4. There is also a little parking lot next to the shop, which is nice.

I just can’t recommend this place. As much as I appreciate the fact they are a small, locally run coffee place, I wouldn’t recommend anyone go there. If you go in the morning it will be extremely slow. Even if there are two people working here. I ordered a «vanilla white chocolate mocha». What I got was an extremely hot drink that tasted vaguely like coffee and water mixed together and microwaved for about 10 minutes. The scones were pretty much gone by 8AM. And it was just really slow, with the poor workers doing the best they could, but obviously under-manned. Did you know Bewiched Deli, which is very close to this place, also serves coffee and has great scones? Yeah I’d try them instead.

(What was going to be my ***** review.) This is my favorite downtown coffee shop so far and it’s just another reason why the North Loop/Warehouse District is my preferred corner of Downtown. I already knew I’d be a fan when I saw that they have coffee cup shaped bike racks complete with a little curvy steam on top. The interior is very well done and you can choose from the bar lining the front windows which has outlets galore for laptops, or hang out with a book on one of the sofas and they even have a little stage for live music. I noticed that included in the available reading material is a book on interior design and it’s obvious that was a major focus for this spot. Of course, visuals only get you so far and the espresso I had thankfully matched the amount of attention paid to the interior design and the pecan bran muffin was a pleasant surprise with the caramelized sugar: who wouldn’t like that?(Well, OK if you have diabetes here’s a heads up.) (What made that glowing review drop to just *.) There was a fundraiser for Burmese refugees with %100 of all proceeds from coffee purchases that day to be used for aide, such as food, which I planned to partake in, but not mentioned anywhere on the flyer was the fact that this aide included evangelizing efforts(you had to go to the website to find that out). Taking advantage of unsuspecting customers who bought coffee that day and weren’t made aware that they were paying for evangelizing vunerable, starving people in Myanmar is crossing the line. If you’re going to be using my money for hunger efforts with a side of bible-bashing then at least be up front about it so that I can at least respect that. A shame, because it was a new found top ten spot for me. C’est la vie.

Slowest staff in the universe. Every time I’ve come here, I’ve had to wait about 5 minutes for every person in line, including myself. Utterly unacceptable. Coffee is decent. Food is poor.

I love this place! I’ve been coming to Corner Coffee for almost 5 years now, and the changes they make have always been for the benefit of their customers. The people are what makes this place so great– the staff is wonderful and always smiling! The food is great, particularly the toasted sandwhiches and baked oatmeal. The place is really hopping during the lunch time, which I think only brags on the food and the staff there! The place has a variety of seating, a lot of plug-ins for electronics, and is a great place for a first date or a business meeting. The wi-fi always works, and they have a parking lot for customers to park in!(Now that the city made the street metered… lame!) So, check it out. They also have a rewards system for people to get a free drink or sandwhich!

Lately, it seems like I’m here every five minutes for a meeting. I don’t mind one bit, since Corner Coffee is a lovely place! The North Loop doesn’t have much in the way of coffee shops, so this is a very welcome hub for a remote worker like myself. It’s a perfect meeting place, especially when you can snag one of their free customer parking spots. Even the meters aren’t expensive here though. Inside, tables in different sizes make it really convenient whether you are meeting with a group or just hanging out with a book or a laptop. There’s also a lounge seating area and a nice sidewalk patio that isn’t noisy since it’s a quiet street. The coffee itself is actually not my favorite(if you are dozing though, their cold press will just about murder you with caffeine!). However, the staff(the owner Scott is one of the nicest people ever) and atmosphere totally make up for it and they have plenty of non-coffee options to drink up too. They also have a no-frills café menu of baked goods and sandwiches if you get hungry, plus live music in the evenings.

I’ve never been here at night, only during the day and it is a great place to study, or meet people for coffee. It’s off the path a bit but not very far from Downtown either. Outdoor seating isn’t polluted by tons of vehicles passing by like some places in the Downtown area, and there are so many different kinds of spaces inside. If you study best in a nook and cranny place you’ll love it here. The coffee I’ve had here is actually comparable to my favorite which is Dunn Bros, and you can park for free in thier lot. The area it’s in has a somewhat intense, old industrial look to it, not a bad area by any means but it might not fit everyones taste. It’s got character though, and I appreciate it since this is probably one of the most Historic locations in the Warehouse District. This area is almost entirely unaltered in appearance from what it looked like during the bloody 1934 Trucker Strike that took place here. Brick Streets, even the old granite curbing is still there, as well as all the buildings at the intersection where the Police opened fire, and killed some strikers near the old Duffey Paper Co Building. Most every class I’ve ever taken in my life that covers local History has covered it in some way, definetely a major event in Minneapolis, as well as National History. I heard there was a proposal to create a mural on the side of this Coffee Shop in memorial of that Historic event, not sure what the status is.
