I really wasn’t that impressed. Delivery took close to an hour for a salad and a sandwich. The salad was nothing special and same goes for the sandwich. The chicken was dry and the spinach in the salad tasted old.

I love this place! I was disappointed that they closed the location in College Point, but I’m so glad they still have this one. I love the chicken soup with the biscuit on top and their seasonal pumpkin pie soup. I just wish they were open on weekends.

I was sick so I decided to find a delivery place that can give me a hot toasty grill cheese and soup to go with it. I really wanted tomato soup but they had ran out. I imagine it was delicious, I settled on pea soup instead. The pea soup was great, probably 4 stars, but the grilled cheese was a rinky dink little grilled cheese sandwich you can make for yourself in 5 mins(and could probably do a better job). I expected a more gourmet bread at least with some sharp cheddar. I’ll probably give them another try since I’m sick and grumpy at the moment, but so far i’m not too impressed.

In my opinion, the food is decent. But, a bit over priced. I liked the outside sitting.

Visited Mama Soup for the first time today. Why didn’t I know about this place sooner?! If you like soups, sandwiches, salads, and more this is the place to be! Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Tyler was an awesome help. I will definitely be back for more!

Mama Soup you have a special place in my heart. The girls on the phone and delivery people are always polite and efficient. Quite frankly I’m a big fan! I either always opt for the Potato Leek soup or a Custom Salad with Romaine, Chick Peas, Black Olives, Hard Boiled Egg and Avocado. Their soups are delicious. The Chicken Pot Pie soup is something I sometimes take home because it’s that hearty and that awesome. They also take care of special requests. Such as a biscuit on the side with the pot pie soup. No problem! Have I ever been in the establishment? Honestly no… just because others have and they say it’s clean and they are lightning fast with the delivery. I prefer delivery in this area. Wanna know why? Because Old Country Road is sometimes a freaking NIGHTMARE! Anyway if you’re jonesin’ for some hot soup call Mama Soup and they’ll be at your office in no time!

Yum. I was very impressed by this hidden soup place. The soup selection is big and you can even sample the soups which is cool. The group I was with ordered wraps and sandwiches too and they all thought they were tasty. Didn’t get to try the bbq but I will definitely come back to see what else they can do!

I have never had to wait longer for a pre-made salad that ended up being 80% tomato, and a pint of under-seasoned soup. Over 15 minutes? Scheduling one guy in the kitchen while 5 other employees stand around and stare into brown paper bags on the counter waiting for something to appear to be put in them? Not for me, thanks.

I eat here a couple times a month when I’m running around and don’t have time to go far. The price is the real turnoff for me. A goat cheese salad is very good but over $ 8. So if you get a drink it’s definitely an over $ 10 meal. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great, lots of seating indoor and out plus the soups are so good

Reading the previous reviews, I couldn’t wait to go to mama’s for food. Boy, was I disappointed. The breakfast items were cheap, actually less than I expected for being in a building near numerous delis, a Dunkin Donuts and two Subways nearby. When I finally got to sit and relax on my commute I could see why it was a cheap wrap, that’s all it really was, maybe one egg in it but all wrap. After ordering breakfast I then went to look at the soups, of which they had at least a dozen. Being a newbie to this place(and seeing that the gentleman taking the orders was too busy finger blasting his cell phone while the lady that was packing the orders was staring him down while I tried making eye contact with either) I was curious and decided they were busy, I’d fill up my own cup of soup(thinking, well hell, they’re obviously not going to, they’re too busy trying to deal with each other). This is when it really went downhill. The lady behind the counter came over like I placed my genitals in the soup and read me the riot act. «This is not self serve, I’ll give you samples if you ask, but you don’t serve yourself, you have to place an order over at the counter»!!! At this moment I wasn’t sure if I were in shock, still asleep, should make a smart ass comment back or just guess that she was directing her disdain of her coworkers use of his cell phone. I came over to him, placed my order. As I did that, a young lady came in returning her order due to the toast being burnt. The counter guy was very polite to her, actually, aside from his cell phone usage he seemed like a nice fellow. I wanted to stick around and snoop some more on the young ladies order, but my food came up from the lady pa cking the order and I had to catch my train. When I reheated my soup for lunch two hours later, it wasn’t the worst, far from progresso or something you’d get from a restaurant that buys their soup from Restaurant Depot, but nothing that is that over the top. Yes it has hand cut chunks of beef, some of which there was still some fibers of fat in it(fine with me, is what gives it good flavor) but hardly worth the price or pathetic and rude customer service. Customer service… you know, it’s that thing that’s dying in business now.

We ordered catering from mama soups. They came over to deliver the food with 4 cauldrons of soup/chili, a nice variety of sandwiches, two different salads and a few bags of chips and soda. We had about 30 – 40 ppl to feed and everyone was well satiated. Even the guy who complains about everything said the food was good! It was definitely worth it! I had the tomato soup which was delicious, a bowl of chili which was good, and a buffalo chicken wrap which was also delicious! We do a family style lunch fairly often and will definitely get mama soups in the near future.

This place has everything! Soups, sandwiches, salads and even BBQ. They have every type of soup you can imagine and they even let you taste test before buying! I have had the potato leek soup, onion soup and turkey chili. All were absolutely delicious! I tried a few others and they were just as good. This is a great place for lunch or dinner, I love it!!!

This is the second time I have been here and would have given it all five stars but there was a mistake on my order. I have had in the past, the tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons and half a grilled chicken wrap-Absolutely delicious and the value meal combo was great, especially the price. Today, I ordered the French onion soup(another great tasting choice) with«Swiss cheese croutons”-but ended up getting American cheese-not Swiss :(So I was a bit disappointed — but the soups are delicious so far, I will definitely be back.

Was told about this place by a co-worker recently and I had to give it a shot. I had no idea it existed, seeing as how it’s tucked away in an office building with no real signage from the sidewalk. That’ll do it! I had a buffalo chicken wrap. Good value. It’s bigger than other places in the area. The chicken was tender, and the sauce didn’t overpower. They have some pre-made wraps and salads, but I think it’s worth the wait to have it fresh off the grill. There was a bit of a wait for the food, with only one very busy girl handling the pickup area. They’re new and still hiring more people, so maybe those kinks will be fixed in the future. Plenty of seating inside, and there’s even outdoor seating(covered) if you’re feeling adventurous. Will try other things on the menu as I’ll be making this my future lunchtime staple.
