Dr. Lanham and his entire staff at Lake View Dental Center run an impeccable practice.
I cannot imagine a better dental experience for myself or my entire family — from the moment we walked in, through their children’s regular cleanings and my husbands cavity repair, the experience was pain-​free and enjoyable — even the kids are looking forward to their next visit.
I have not personally ever enjoyed the dentist or felt comfortable in the past, but this practice has changed my entire attitude.
As soon as you walk in the office, you are greeted by the front desk staff who are very open, welcoming and friendly. We had very little time to wait (thank goodness) and the office had space for the kids to play if we were to have waited with creative and worthwhile activities.
After just minutes we were escorted back to the children’s care room to have the kids teeth cleaned. The children’s area of the practice is as well thought out as any I’ve ever seen. They have television monitors on the ceiling so that the kids can watch a video while having their exam. A place for the parents to observe and lots of interesting books and toys throughout the room. Nothing about the children’s area was intimidating or caused any concerns. The hygienists that assist Dr. Lanham are some of the most talented, sweet and genuinely caring people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. And then there is Dr. Lanham — he is a gem! He took the time to explain everything to me AND my kids. What he was doing, changes we should consider with our current dental hygiene and more. He was gentle, gracious and so unbelievably knowledgeable. Dr. Lanham and his staff truly care that they are providing the highest, most professional and best levels of service.
The practice is about 45 minutes from Dallas, but WORTH the drive.
