BEST WESTERN Mineola Inn

My husband and I thought it was a very clean and comfortable stay. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The décor was actually pretty turquoise and brown striped curtains (trendy). Breakfast was good and had plenty of options. Clean serving and seating area. The only thing they need to add is conditioner for your hair and sugar free syrup for all of us diabetics!

We hosted a car show in Mineola and this Best Western was the our hotel where most of our members stayed. We rented nearly the entire facility and found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating to our group. This location is relatively new and is in good shape, but don’t expect the Waldorf… it’s a Best Western! We especially enjoyed one of the employees named Dee (who I think may be a manager) Many of our members commented on her good sense of humor and friendliness.

well you don’t really have a choice of where to stay here, so I guess you just have to deal with it.
The good: The free breakfast isn’t bad. Scrambled eggs (from a box), sausage, gravy, cereal, waffles…
The bad: (1) The key to my room I don’t think ever worked on the first try. Even when after the second day I got them changed. It normally took 2 or 3 tries and I stayed there 4 nights. (2) The tv had problems where the picture and sound would be jumbled about every couple minutes for maybe 4 seconds. (3) Also, even when everything on the clock radio was off, about every ten minutes it does ‘white noise’. Weird really. They changed out the radio and it still did it. So maybe electrical power surges? Who knows but the radio was unplugged after that.
The ugly: mold on the shower curtain. So beware of room 226 in the shower. I forgot to tell the lady as I checked out. It isn’t a lot of mold, but they should just throw it into the washing machine. All for about $ 100 a night

Best in Mineola. Great customer service, staff is very friendly. Nice, modern and clean. Free Buffett breakfast includes sausage and scrambled eggs, but food quality is of the cheaper variety. But great for a small town hotel. Recommended.

Pros: Large room with high ceiling. Jacuzzi in bedroom, in addition to full bath.
Cons:View of retaining wall outside window. Wireless internet not working. Towel holder in bathroom coming out of wall. Horrible, deafening noise when someone took a shower next door at 5:30 a.m.
Conclusion: Next time, I am staying in Lindale.
