Wendy’s

I don’t usually eat at Wendy’s but took a chance on this one. The cashier was very soft spoken and came off either indifferent or newly employed, but not rude. The menu on the wall was not designed for ease of reference. In the end I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries and a soft drink (Honest Tea). The burger was fine. The fries arrived barely warm and had obviously aged in the warmer. Curiously the Honest Tea was warm and the ice dumped in the cup never did cool it down. And so I will not be eating anymore Wendy’s or any restaurants owned by the Bridge Corporation.

Obviously, with fast food reviews are about service and if they manage to get it right– not here. Ordered a chili with onion and sour cream– no spoon, and they forgot the crackers and chili sauce. Ordered a potato with JUST chili and sour cream. They put cheese all over it and left out the sour cream. It’s been about 3 times now that they have done this.

My negative experience occurred through the drive-​thru. I will never again visit this establishment due to the poor customer service I received. When I got to the drive-​up window after I’d placed my order, I was «greeted» by an unpleasant cashier who, in between slamming the door and giving short, rude responses to me, started talking to the person next to her about personal matters. After receiving my food, I’d had enough and wanted to speak to the supervisor only to discover the person laughing and gawking with her WAS the supervisor. She made light of the entire situation and claimed her cashier had done nothing wrong. No apologies, no accountability for being rude to a customer (and a loyal one at that). No thanks. The burgers aren’t that good.

I recently went here & placed an order thru the drive thru if you haven’t gone to Wendy’s lately you don’t know what your missing. Wendy’s has caught the attention of many people including myself due to the fact that their new hamburgers (Dave’s Hot N Juicy & The W) are becoming one of the best fast food hamburgers around. They can cost a little more than your typical fast food hamburger but I promise you that the freshness & taste will certainly make up for the cost. Service here was good & so were the fries so if you’re driving past a Wendy’s, don’t have a lot of time & are craving for a good burger check out Wendy’s new burgers I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Wendy’s is a welcome change from the standard fast food burger fare offered by McDonald’s. The food is somewhat better quality, and as everyone probably expects, quality does vary somewhat, but I would note that this location has a bit of a history of messing up orders. Best to verify your order when it is taken, especially through the drivethru, and check your order before you drive away. Not a frequent problem, but definitely more often than the average Wendy’s.
