Awesome coffee. They have a bunch of unique roasts that I really enjoyed. Plus, from what I’ve seen, their employees are good people.
I met Joe of Valentine Coffee this past fall at the weekend farmers market at Cathedral Square while he was working the company’s coffee stand. He was one of those guys that immediately strikes you as genuinely friendly and interested in his trade.
They’re a relatively new business, so it may be tough to find them on a widespread basis. If you do see Valentine Coffee though, make sure you try it out. Great stuff, and you’re supporting a relatively new local business too.

Valentine Coffee Roasters barely edges out Anodyne for the small amount of space in my cupboard dedicated to whole bean coffee. I met Robb at the Wauwatosa Farmers’ Market and chatted with him most Saturday mornings while he prepared a pour over for me. (This is the closest thing to a Valentine Coffee House for now.) This past summer I wore a Valentine Coffee t-​shirt around Washington, DC and he got a kick out of the fact that his logo was in front of the White House. GREAT COFFEE and can now be found at Metcalfe’s.
