After the things I witnessed last night, I can no longer condone the patronage of this establishment. When the owners are too intoxicated to remember telling«NIGGERS» to leave the bar. Or when they say«You niggers aren’t drinking fast enough». I know its time to stop spending money there. Whats extremely sad is most of their staff is black! I was happy to see EVERY race get up and walk out of that place Saturday Night! What this world needs is more unity and less racism.

Ugh, wish I could give zero stars!!! First things first, the owner is a stark raving racist. It’s kind of amazing how blatant she is with the bs. I was in town visiting a few friends and they had suggested this place because the scene was supposedly cool and food was super cheap. We arrived and we’re promptly seated and then nothing happened for seemingly forever. What do I mean by nothing happened? I mean no menus, no server, no water … Nothing. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed so we let it go and chalked it up to the place being understaffed, though my friends said they had never experienced this before. 30 minutes into our«service», the owner is seen, or rather heard, going off on some African-American couple at the bar. I didn’t know she was the owner and assumed she was some crazy drunk patron but then she started hurling all sorts of slurs and stated that n****** weren’t welcome there. Ummmmmmm … Alrighty then, that and the lack of service was enough for me so my friends and I bounced. I clearly can’t comment on the food but service and, ahem, ambiance for lack of a better word were quite off putting and I would never consider going back. Consider yourself warned.

Not the best late night spot but a great happy hour hangout. Also a fine place to day drink. Great beer for $ 2 or $ 3. Shockingly good food as well.

Great selection of beer for $ 2 or $ 3! Beers that caught my attention O-Gii $ 3, Two Hearted Ale $ 3, Riverwest Stein $ 2, Outboard $ 2 Sliders were tasty. My main complaint was the onion rings. Disclaimer: I prefer crispy onion rings. The onion rings here are made with the local riverwest stein beer. Immediately grabbed my attention. When the waitress brought them out they resembled more of a donut than any onion ring I’ve ever seen. Very doughy with lots of batter. I would not recommend ordering them unless you are looking for an onion stuffed donut. As much as I disliked the onion rings I enjoyed the fresh fries. I managed to snag a few from the friend I was dining with. I will return but I won’t make the onion ring/french fry mix up again.

Their food comes in small portions with low prices, great for sampling different flavors, you can order three sliders of all different flavors. I particular like their Italian bomber slider we had. Ample meter parking at the door and across the street.

We stumbled in here drunk-ish one night and I wasn’t paying enough attention to be left with an impression. When coworkers suggested Two Bucks for lunch, I was confused. They have food? It’s appropriate during daylight hours? Yes and yes. The food is cheap. I like cheap. But that usually means the quality is also cheap, which is gross. Good news fellow cheapskates! The food is pretty great. Choosing from a decent selection, my coworkers and I have been pleased on the three occasions(in two weeks) that we stopped in. The sliders are fun variety and give vegetarians lots of options, the wraps are sizable, the burgers don’t fool around, and the fries get a solid B+. Service is always friendly, sometimes neglectful. The décor as Mike C said is nice as well. I feel comfortable here during the day, want to try all the menu items, and don’t leave feeling guilty about blowing a bunch of money on eating out. Solid choice for lunch in my book.

We came here around 630 on a Sunday night. There were only a couple of customers there. A waitress stopped by our table and told us she would be right back with our orders but she did not come back. The manager came over like 15 min later saying there was a private party in the back that she was helping with and apologized. Then someone came to take our order shortly after. The manager came by to check on us quite often throughout our meal and even at the end he thanked us for coming which was nice of him! My hubby ordered the pumpkin lagger $ 2(good but not the best he’s had), spotted cow(good) $ 3, and for his meal he got a green and gold, cheesesteak, and Italian slider $ 7. He said they were good! I got cheese curds in spotted cow batter $ 5(it was okay, there was not much cheese, mostly just fried batter) and a buffalo cheese flatbread $ 5 which I thought was really good. It was super thin, crispy, and the sauce was really flavorful. Our friend got the chicken tortilla soup and Caesar salad. He said the soup didn’t have many tortilla chips and that it tasted more like a chili. He said his dish was alright. He enjoyed the curds and spotted cow though. This place was pretty good and if I visit again, I’d like to try more items on the menu!

Love this menu. Very simplistic. The beer menu is great and most beers are $ 2. If it’s not $ 2, it’s only $ 3! Pretty sweet deal! Servers and bartenders are nice. I have never had bad service here. Boneless wings are great! Tasty and of good size! Slider choices are boss. There’s also a few breakfast menu items which I find very thoughtful of the chef! Honestly, the only things I have to complain about are: 1 noise level is always high 2 all the dips are soupy 3 pita chips come out too well done Keep up the good service and great menu! We’ll be back!

I’ve only been once but I plan on going here regularly. First off, the beers for $ 2 is an amazing deal. Second, the menu variety is great and there are so many things to try. Love the fact that there’s a few ‘breakfast’ options(flatbread, wrap, and sandwich). The sliders menu is extensive and you can mix and match which is super cool. The prices on all the food was great. Our server was the bartender since it was a weeknight and it wasn’t busy, but it was great attentive and spot on service.

Terrible place for service, but the food and drink itself is pretty great. For the price, you can put up with the attitude from the waitresses.

Love the look of the place. Sweet bartenders and waitresses. The food ranges between $ 2-$ 10. Food wasn’t that great though. Was disappointed in the garlic mushrooms. It literally tasted like mushrooms wrapped in a funnel cake. The burgers weren’t phenomenal nor were they bad. They were ok. Also, if you’re not a fan of onions, be careful when you get the pub poutine appetizer and the Italian bomber because the menu doesn’t tell you onions are in there. My bf didn’t have fun picking out the onions. Overall, this place was alright. You get what you pay for.

Have never tried the food but you can’t beat this place for beer. Great selection and what other bar can you get beer for $ 2 or $ 3? Most nights the crowd is decently low key, not a huge party crowd, but I have also seen this place get trashy. Always a random night too so can’t really plan around it. My one complaint is they need more bartenders on the weekend. It gets frustrating waiting forever to get served, watching people who arrived after you get served first.

Okay, so here’s the thing: like another Unilocaler, Erika B., said, if you like cheap drinks and pretty decent food, Two Bucks definitely fits the bill. Great selection of beer and passable food. What more do you want from a pub? Three stars for that — it’s just regular. Nothing special. My experience at Two Bucks was terrible. Saturday night, one of the busiest nights of the week for bars/restaurants, and tonight was no exception; and Two Bucks made the asinine decision to schedule ONEWAITRESS. ONEWAITRESS to cover the indoor seating area AND the outdoor patio. ONEWAITRESS to serve food AND drinks to at least 50 people at once. THEABSURDITY. My group waited a full hour to receive our orders, and other groups were experiencing the same wait times. This poor waitress, Caitlin, was running all over the place, trying to fill orders, put them in, serve people, bus tables… SHE’S JUSTONEPERSON. We complained to the manager that it took way too long to receive the type and quality of food we ordered; she comped one of our meals(the person who waited over an hour) and apologized, which is fine; but the part that really took me by surprised was when she replied, «I’m really sorry about that — the waitress is usually much better.» WHAT?! Two Bucks — SUPPORTYOURSTAFF. Hire more than one person to work your busiest night of the week. Caitlin — you were an amazing server. You should find a restaurant to work at where they’ll treat you like a person rather than an automaton.

Everything’s cheap, which is great. Solid selection of beers at very reasonable prices. If you land here at an off-peak time, you’ll be just fine. Prime time, however? You’ll be surrounded by throngs of the freshly 21.

When this place originally opened I thought Two Bucks was a deer reference and it was a country bar or something like that. Ok nowwww I get it. I stopped in here for football on a Sunday(not a Packers game). I was surprised how few patrons were there. We sat at the bar due to the fact that the high tables close to the bar only had stools and the bar had chairs with backs, reversed I guess. The bar is somewhat uncomfortable to sit at. They have the classic bar style with the area that droops out to lean your arms on. However if you’re not a sloppy drunk leaning on this in-your-way piece of wood half passed out, then it’s merely an inconvenience. The concept of two bucks, aka two dollars, two hundred pennies, two singles, twenty-six pesos, etc. is a great concept. They have a lot of good draft beers for only $ 2 including Riverwest Stein, Booyah, and Fixed Gear. For only an additional $ 1(if you’re not good at math we’re now at 3 whole dollars) you can get amazing beers(bottled) such as Ambergeddon, Fat Squirrel, etc. I must say I was quite pleased with this deal. I doubt there’s another bar in Milwaukee you could get craft beer on a Sunday for $ 3. So that was a huge plus for two bucks. The food menu is also tailored to the two buck theme but once you figure it out, the prices are pretty normal. There’s one appetizer thats $ 2, the rest are $ 5. They have sliders that are $ 2 but that’s per slider so they’re $ 6. Wraps and other items are $ 5, but they don’t come with a side(such as fries). There’s a lot of fried food but there’s a few items that wouldn’t normally be on a menu — deep fried pickles /deep fried oreos /deep fried snickers. We ordered the garlic /seasoned fries and the deep fried pickles to start. The fries must have been seasoned before they were submurged in the frying oil because they didn’t have much flavor. I’ve never had deep fried pickles before(primarily because I’m not Snookie) but they were«pretty good». For an «entrée» I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was ridiculously spicy. The bartender(as if she knew I wouldn’t like it) offered to make me a different wrap and not charge me. She said they made the sauce too hot, and indeed it was. I took her up on her offer and had the turkey wrap which was pretty good. Bored with the game, I decided to then try the deep fried oreos. Must’ve missed this at the state fair. They were actually very tasty. They had almost a funnel-cake like batter and were cooked perfectly so the oreo was chewy but still in tact. In summary: The service was really good and the price was right. The crowd there was random and the seating was uncomfortable. The TVs are nice and big but way too high up. The $ 2 and $ 3 beer deals are incredible. The food is average. I feel bad giving this place 3 stars but don’t think it’s worthy of four. Maybe I’ll come back for three dollar Ambergeddon. But probably not for a game or food. Also, there are no deer on the walls unfortunately ruling out the other Two Bucks theme.

$ 2 beers on tap that’s not miller/coors? beer battered cheese curds? Yum! Downside…small batch of cheesecurds for $ 5. Although the tacos were $ 2 on Tuesday. They were not that great…

I can’t believe Two Bucks doesn’t have more reviews. I know a ton of people who consider this a regular stop. You can’t beat $ 2 Lakefront or Milwaukee Brewing Company beer! I have had some stellar shots from a bartender who sadly doesn’t work there anymore. Regardless, they have a full bar if you’re into mixed drinks. Their bartenders are attentive, even to the ladies. The bar area can get crowded on the weekend, but there are also tables to sit at and a patio when the weather is nice. When it is crowded, they stop letting people in(more of an issue after 10 pm on weekends). The food is ok. Black and bleu sliders are my favorite. Food prices are decent too.

I doubted my decision to eat here when the first thing I noticed after I walked in was the«floor behind the bar» odor only I wasn’t behind the bar. When I entered the dining room, the smell was much less noticeable, so I sat down and reviewed the menu. Most of the menu consisted of sliders and flatbread pizzas. I started with the 2 beef 2 bean chili, which was only $ 3. It was made with black beans. kidney beans, ground beef and beef brisket then topped with cheddar cheese and green onion. I thought it was delicious and had good texture. Next up was the mushroom and swiss sliders on pretzel buns and the Two Buck Fries. The beef patties were well-seasoned and the pretzel rolls were soft and delicious. The fries are fresh cut potatoes tossed with sage and garlic. They had great flavor but most of them were over-cooked and had that unattractive brown color to them as a result, but overall not bad. One other thing I want to point out is that all of my food was served hot, not warm, hot. I really appreciate when my food is served hot and fresh, and after heating here I realize I don’t get served food this hot as often as I should. This was a surprisingly good visit and I would be willing to visit again.

Staff are really nice and welcoming this evening I had a choice of Mets v Brewers, and Utah st. v Wisconsin the bar area has 2 big screens. The restaurant side had 4 tvs. Earlier they had a good selection of music from a fancy digital jukebox. I happened to be the lucky customer to sit near the sticks of drafts they have 5 choices of LFB. For 2 bucks a pint! Not too many places can boast a beer selection of drafts and bottles for such a great price and wafts of food being prepped on the SW corner. They have outdoor seating that was clean. The large glass windows were clean too. Restrooms were very clean and bright. The bar was glossy and a little sticky honey or BBQ. No biggie they had napkins and bar rags. Btw.Badgers won and Brewers lost. This place is a good place to start or end up.
