Toppers Pizza

online problems, can’t seem to get it to work.
need a better system for identifying orders. told mine was not ready when I got there, 10 min. later took my order off the warming shelf where it was sitting when I arrived.
pizza not that great for the price. only get from there because the grandkids like the Topper sticks.

Love Toppers. This one is a great store. Fast delivery and always as ordered. Wish they had an app for iOS/​Android but the webpage is mobile optimized and works good.

I’ll start by saying I’ve never had Toppers Pizza before I just moved to the area, and after a very long few weeks of moving and dealing with the headaches that come with it — I just wanted someone to bring me dinner,
So I took to Toppers’ website and ordered.
I ordered the Loaded Tot-​zza (without bacon), original Topperstix, and a 2 liter of Diet Coke. It came about 20 minutes before the estimated delivery time.
What really pushed me over the edge to give 5 stars was my delivery driver. She asked of I needed plates and parmesan, and I jokingly told her that the only thing I could find after this move was my plates. She asked if I had just moved in, and when I said yes she welcomed me to the neighborhood and asked me how I was liking it. Perhaps I’m not used to the kindness of strangers where I’m from — but I was very pleasantly surprised.
The pizza and breadsticks were really very good. Not the same type of pizza I had in New York, or even what I ate while living in the Chicago area. You have to understand what you’re ordering with some of the unique house pizza creations I will definitely be ordering again in the future.

Had a simple order two pizzas one hand tossed and one tallboy (which is an extra fee). Both came handtossed. Total bummer.

My bf and I called in an order for a «Toppers Classic» with parmesan garlic wings (bone-​in) and a 2 liter of Sprite. We also had some dippin’ sauces on the side. On the phone I had specifically asked for fresh cut jalapeño peppers and we got itty-​bitty sliced, pickled jalapenos that weren’t even spicy and was very soggy. The wings were basically just regular seasoned wings that had (very little amount of) parmesan garlic sauce poured over it. The pizza wasn’t even sliced when we opened the box and the toppings could’ve been more plentiful.
I’ve never had Toppers pizza during the day, we usually have it late nights but since we were craving pizza we decided to give Toppers a go. I’m kind of disappointed because all the other times I’ve gone here, the pizza was good but I could honestly say I was not impressed. Although the service was top notch, the food was not. Maybe next time I’ll stick to late night Toppers if that’d make any difference.

This is a good take out pizza option if you’re nearby. I’ve had good customer service when I’ve been there to pick up my order. House pizzas are pretty decent if you’re looking for something new.

I have had nothing but horrible experiences with this location. Probably ordered around 8 – 9 times this last year and the only reason why we kept ordering from here is because we like the pizza (when it’s not delivered ice cold) and it’s open later. After last nights order NEVER AGAIN will I order from this location! We ordered at 1:24am and were told it would be 45 minutes. After 70 minutes of waiting patiently we called. We were told any minute now (which is typical for this place) Finally at 3:10 am we called to say that we didn’t want the pizza anymore. The girl that answered the phone started to raise her voice and yell at me! She told me we gave her the wrong address and wrong phone number… WRONG! Horrible customer service I have never been yelled at by someone that’s job is customer service! Absolutely appaulled! NEVER NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN AND DEFINATELY THE GIRL ANSWERING THE PHONES SHOULD BE FIRED! You just lost a customer that was willing to put up with 30 – 50 minute late and cold pizza but NO MORE!

I just don’t get it. The pizza is mediocre. I like the mac n cheese pizza, but other than that it’s meh. It is cheap which is good, but it is still college quality pizza. I guess I’ll never understand why people would settle for this anymore than they’d settle for Pizza hut. For the price you can get a much better pie.
I do love the online ordering. But that’s true of most places I like.

First the bad, then the good.
On seven, yes SEVEN different occasions I’ve had trouble with Toppers’ online ordering system. (I’ve kept count because it became so ridiculous). I go to the website, put in my order, selected the time I’d pick it up at (I believe the first time you can select is 30 minutes after you order and then in 15 minute increments after that), then arrive 10 – 20 minutes after the time I selected, just to give them some extra time to make it. NEVER early.
Now I’ve had some successful, normal online order take-​outs so this isn’t a 100% of the time occurrence… However, on these seven visits, the staff hadn’t even touched my order yet. They didn’t even take it out of the printer or view the screen, or wherever the order arrives on. They usually have to do some hunting until they find the order, and then I’m there waiting for another twenty minutes.
Most of the time though when things went that bad, I was given a coupon for a free pizza in the future, so I can’t complain.
You’d think I’d learn to use the phone for ordering, but I’m very much a techy girl, so I appreciate the ease of online ordering systems. I love that Toppers allows that feature but just wish they could get the timing right :). I would hope my pizza was in the oven or at least being prepared when I arrive, but usually that is never the case. At least they recognize the mistake (time and again…) and offer me a coupon/​discount for having to wait an extra ~30−45 minutes.
Now the good… good enough for four stars!
Nonetheless, I keep coming back because I do love their pizza. I love the quirky flavors — Mac & Cheese Pizza, Potato Pizza, Taco Stix — three of my favorites. The plain cheese pizza is boring and if I were to order that, I’d go somewhere else. However, the spicy nacho cheese they use on the Mac&Cheese pizza gives it a good kick.
The Taco Stix + sour cream as a dipping sauce is such a weird combination but it works! Highly recommend those.
Also, Toppers always mails out coupons for some good deals so you can usually always find something at a discount if you sign up to receive their coupons.
While the service isn’t great, the pizza makes up for it.
I will add though that when I ordered online for this past Super Bowl, my orders were all ready on time, despite the long lines!
And I love that Toppers is open late… 2 or 3AM, maybe 4?
