Thai Kitchen is among the best of the several Thai options that Milwaukee has to offer. Their food is very tasty, the servings healthy and the price outstanding. You can’t go wrong on this menu. I typically order fresh veggie spring rolls. One order is comprised of 2 large rolls! Impressive. The service here is also great. I can’t say the same thing for other Thai restaurants in the City.

I have only tried their Red curry, Pad thai and Thai tea. I liked it very much and prices are very reasonable. Service was good for dine in and carry out on different occasions. Will visit back again definitely. I tried the Native Thai spice level, it was extremely spicy so people who are thinking about it, give it a second, third and fourth thought.

I Unilocaled a place nearby after a Friday night hike on the Beerline Trail. I ordered my litmus test for Thai food. And the results are: inexpensive, spicy when you ask them to make it spicy, gigantic insanely huge portions, and friendly employees. Pretty solid. I ordered take-out, so my employee interaction was brief, but it was also pleasant. The Crab Rangoon recipe needs something a bit more, to my taste — maybe diced green onion or water chestnut to cut the straight outta Philly cream cheese flavor. Still totally edible though. The Pad Thai was about 85⁄15 in noodle/chicken ratio, BUT they gave me enough food for 3 good sized meals from that one order, so I’m really not complaining.

The two stars I given for this restaurant is just for their food. The waitress is sooooo rude! We had order a Tom Yum dong soup which served cold! When we asked the waitress that did this soup suppose to be cold? Cuz I had that in my country, the soup was served hot. She even didn’t give us an answer! She said nothing but just quick walk by our table, and ignored us. I swear she heard what we asked, she just didn’t want to answer it! WTF?!

Craving Thai food, and this place recommended me too. And happy I went up for the recommendation. It’s a small spot, nothing fancy but the foods great. The staff is also really nice. Asked a few menu questions… And they helped me out Got the volcano chicken, and it was great. Definitely way too much food for one person. So I got took some home. Chickens breaded with there sweet and spicy house sauce. Rice, was good too. It’s cool they come out with a large Asian style pan and serve you rice whenever you want it. And if you need some more to go, they’ll get it ready for you in a to go box. Crab ragoons were amazing as well. Order gets you 6 and they’re pretty large size. Nice app!

Love this place. No frill, fast, consistent, inexpensive, and delicious. I normally go for the curry lunch special. 6.95 is a steal. Just go here already.

One of those understated neighborhood places. Best sauces I have had. When you order chicken, beef, duck you get large pieces of meet. Their vegetarian dishes are equally as sumptuous.

This is my favorite Thai food in the city! I really only do carry out though as the restaurant is a bit dingy and outdated(reason for 4 stars). Highly suggest their red and green curry as well as the fantastic lunch special.

My husband n I just left this horrible place. First let me go by saying it took them 30 mins to make wotons. Really my around the corner Chinese restaurant can make them faster than that. Not to mention they were brunt n flavorless. Okay now waiting another 20 mins. For a beef salad, chickem volcano which was fried chicken and shrimp fried rice… wow. Damn near a hr for all of this. No one came to us to tell us anything. I nearly walked out. But my husband insisted for us to stay. Let me tell you don’t waste your time going to this place unless you have no time in the world for horrible food n slow service… i will keep my business going to KINGAND I … ANDTHEBANGKOKHOUSEHANDSDOWNBESTFOOD! This place serves the best Thai food I have ever had. With its cute and cosy ambience, the food has always been hot, fresh and lip-smacking. This is not a fancy place, a very basic daily to-go Thai restaurant. The place is clean, staff is courteous. I love the big vessel in which they go around serving extra rice– it’s a pretty silver dish with beautiful designs on it. I am a regular at this restaurant, and now that I have moved to a different city, I make sure to stop by Thai kitchen when I am in town.

I love this place. Which is why I’m going back before I leave Wisconsin. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s clean and the food is amazing which is all that matters. It’s really all about the food there. You must have the fried spring rolls and the red curry. I ordered the pad Thai and it was good but a little to much sauce for me. My husband ordered the red curry and I was extremely jealous. It was amazing. The service is also very good. It’s authentic Thai food which is what I love. I can’t wait to go back.

Really the best red curry I’ve ever had. Incidentally, I appreciated that Thai hot was truly spicy. But it wasn’t like some places that just add red flakes, the spicy flavors added a lot of complexity to the dish and really made it come alive. The fried spring rolls were also very good, as was the sauce they came with. And the price for dinner seemed like lunch prices. Great value. I’m going back again before leaving town.

The food here is always good. The lunch combos are a good deal if you ever get to eat there for lunch. I always go for the volcano chicken and seafood soup. That stuff is very good. Actually all of it is good I just love that stuff more.

I was in the neighborhood last night and in the mood(as I often am) for Thai food. I stopped in to this cozy, UWM-area neighborhood spot with a friend and ordered a couple of old favorites — Panang Curry and Pad Thai, with the necessary crab rangoons on the side. The curry was by far the outstanding dish of the night — great mixture of flavor, creaminess, and heat, with green peppers and green beans in just the right proportion mixed in with the chicken and sauce. The hot rice is brought right to your plate by one of the wait staff — and they’ll refill for you any time — loved this touch. Pad Thai and crab rangoons were decent — not outstanding — but hot and fresh and overall, very reasonably priced compared to some other Thai joints in the city.(Think 8.95 as compared to 12.95 I’ve seen other places!) Though the place wasn’t busy, it took quite a while to get our food — which we(almost) forgot about when we tasted the curry. We did notice quite a few pick-up orders being carried out(curried out, perhaps? I crack myself up!) so this is also an option here. The place is small and fairly bare inside — not super conducive to dining in or hanging out for very long — so I’d consider the take-out option for next time.

Last night I was back at my old stomping grounds — UW-Milwaukee. My co-worker and I stopped in at Thai kitchen for dinner before an event. There was plenty of seating at 5 pm on a Thursday night. Most people who stopped in stopped in for take out. The waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive, he had a very pleasant demeanor. The menu wasn’t overly large and confusing, something I have found at other Thai restaurants. We ordered a noodle dish and volcano chicken. I enjoyed the volcano chicken more then the noodle dish. The chicken was real chicken! Not small bits and pieces of chicken — the kind that leaves you wondering«what part of the bird was that?» — but whole chicken breasts cut into strips. The sauce was sweet with cabbage and carrots. We ordered a «one» «hotness» level, I would go higher next time. The noodle dish was good, but, the noodles were a bit on the soggy side so the texture was a bit off for me. The prices are reasonable. I would go back again… and probably order the volcano chicken!

I have been meaning to try this place. I finally did. The décor is the same brand of somewhat bland asian restaurant you may find at many other places. The server seemed a bit scattered and/or forgetful at first, but his head seemed to become screwed on somewhat less askew midway through my visit. As far as the food goes, I normally like to give initial judgment of Thai places based on their Pad Thai, but not this time. I went with the Panang Curry with beef. The curry itself has a lovely flavor, not too terribly different from other Panang I have had, though I thought it could be a touch more savory and that the«hot» should be aa tad hotter. The beef which was very thinly slices of steak left something to be desired. It had off flavors reminiscent of the scent you get of raw steak after it has been sitting in the fridge a day or so after the use by date. Overall, I would not suggest this place.
