Have been here a few times for coffee dates with friends. Friendly, fast service. The Sportea and lattes are delicious and made with care. I also really like the little tables outside so we can enjoy the few months of nice weather around here. I wish they would add some more seating outside though!

I just finished the most delicious loose leaf Chai I’ve ever had! I came in with a foggy head from allergies and now I feel sooooo much better. My throat is warm, the tea I could smell was amazing, and I’m alert despite this being entirely decaf. That said, the staff and service here is always friendly and patient. Their lattes are my favorite in town. Yum!

We loved this place UNTIL my boyfriend and I went to get our normal Carmella and add honey to it. While we were drinking we noticed chunks in our drink and came to find there were fruit flies in our drink! We walked over to where the honey bottle was and at the bottom of the bottle was a pile of dead fruit flies! All the barista did was say let me get my manager and that was the end of it. We walked out and have never been able to go back!

I credit this coffee shop with making me like coffee. I have never enjoyed the bitter taste… until I spoke with the barista and was treated to a lesson in their brews, roasts, and methods. I ended up getting a medium roast Tanzania(which they do not have currently) pour over. Nowhere has been able to match it and I am resorting to spending money to prep it at home because I can’t find anything as good.

Good coffee but they are always in a hurry to close. They close at 6:00 pm. I came in at 5:53 by the watch and there was no coffee.

I’m an iced coffee junkie, and theirs is the best that I’ve found in Milwaukee. I’ve had great service at all of their locations, but I’m partial to this location just because I can go next door and get a bagel at Brueggers!

COLDBREW! Three years later it’s time for an update. This Stone Creek Coffee is my go-to for cold brew coffee. I’ve tried most other roasters’ take on it and Stone Creek is by far my favorite. It has a richness and boldness that others don’t(and it loooooaded with gawd damn caffeine). Hungover? Afternoon energy crash? Stone Creek Coffee’s cold brew fixes those. There’s a difference between cold BREW and iced coffee — seems obvious but the flavors are worlds apart. I buy Stumptown cold brew at Whole Foods and nope not all things from Portland are better. Stone Creek beats Stumptown here. NOTE: Stumptown comes in brown glass stubby bottles. I’m waiting to get pulled over by the police for open container while driving. Staying on topic, the Stone Creek trainer Jaimie is often the head barista here. This dude is cool. We always talk coffee and if I travel I try to share whatever beans I bring back with the guy. I buy my Hario 02 pour over filters here. TIP: They’re cheaper buy a few dollars here than Colectivo.

My favourite Milwaukee based coffee shop. Offers unique drinks and concoctions not offered by Collectivo or Starbucks. This location has limited seating, but bonus… bagels!

Carmella was delicious and that boosted me up my study. The shop is small but cute. Nice view and sunshine from window. I sat down for hours, and had a productive day. I would go there again!

The coffee was good and the service was friendly. My only caveat is in the winter, I head to coffee shops to get something warm to drink in a warm, cozy location where I can get to work on my computer. I chose a seat as far from the entry in this coffee shop and still I was tempted to keep my winter coat on while I sat here, sipping my latte. Other than that, it was clean and pleasant :)

Am forced to downgrade this place. It just celebrated its 20th anniversary, but if it continues to provide terrible customer service, it won’t make it to another 20 years – if even 2 years. Was in the area on a drizzly, icy day so stopped at Grand Ave. and wanted to buy a half pound of the cinnamon blend for a gift. They directed me to the Factory Store – not that far away, except it was an icy day. They admitted they had it, but only in one pound bags. The fact they had it and were NOT willing to break it down into a smaller bag tells this consumer they no longer deserve my business. I could understand if they were busy, but they weren’t. This is not the Stone Creek I became familiar, and fell in love with 18 years ago. This is a Stone Creek that got too big for its britches. And by the way, next time I’m in Bay View, I’ll stop for a sip at its competitor across the street. Also great coffee, but easier on the pocketbook and with a greater variety of foods.

I didn’t realize that they were connected to a Bruggers… so I get my bagel(s) and my coffee! Win, win. Anyway, I decided I wanted to stop here because of the unusual flavours of coffee. Sometimes you just want something a bit different, not the usual cup o’ joe. So I went with the Cardamom Spice Latte. It was almost like a Chai Latte with coffee(which I enjoy by the way…). I really enjoyed it and hope to go back to try the Mexican Spice Latte!

Awesome locally roasted coffee. Brewed coffee is always food. Espresso drinks vary based on the server.

Doppio macchiato is really good here. Good shot & good foam! Plus sometimes you get cool latte art.

This is a nice little coffee shop. As with many of the Stone Creek locations, there is not ample seating room inside the shop. That is always a frustration of mine for Stone Creek. However, the staff here is always very nice. Because of how small most Stone Creeks are, i never go there with the idea of tuckering down for a while. maybe I’ll sip(slowly) my coffee while reading the paper, but usually this is a grab n go place for me. In the battle of best coffee in Milwaukee, Stone Creek wins. I enjoy the Milwaukee blend, but my favorite is Red Sky. I love their graphic design on their labels as well, so great. The service great. The baristas are super friendly. My perfect Milwaukee coffee shop would include baristas and coffee from Stone Creek, the Radio Head bagel sammich from Roast, and i would like to enjoy that all in an Alterra store.
