Royal Wok

This food is amazing. Always hot and very fresh. The chicken fried rice is a favorite along with sweet and sour chicken. I always get a spring roll as well. Everyone that works there is friendly and welcoming !!

Best in milwaukee period! ! I eat Chinese food all the time and you can’t beat what they have to offer! Plus the owner and the staff are very kind and friendly!!! This makes them a great experience! !

I do not want to start off my review and talk about this place being closed. I think it’s because he had a sign on the door closed for a few weeks in a row. Tak works his b%$# off and needs to take a break sometime and travel and maybe visit his family in another country. As of Sept. 2015 he is totally open and doing great. He has one helper and works 6 days a week. So sometimes you need to close for a few weeks in a row to see family and relax.

I talk to a lot of people and they try Chinese Food everywhere. Many of my friends are content with trying Chinese food and not really bother doing a comparison. Or they say it’s good but I don’t think they are picky. If you are picky, then this review is for you.
I am very picky about my Chinese Food. I can tell you that Royal Wok’s Shrimp Fried Rice is incredible. When I open up that container, I can tell by the smell that it is the flavor I have longed for when I went to many take out Chinese restaurants that had that great high temperature wok cooking smell. Their Fried Rice is awesome. No matter what style you get. I sometimes get the combos. I mostly get Shrimp. I am very impressed by the size of the shrimp and also how many shrimp he puts in his fried rice. He doesn’t just throw it on the top. It’s everywhere in the container.
Also, his Egg Foo Young is also awesome. Nice and large and plenty of Shrimp. That’s my favorite flavor when it comes to Egg Foo Young.
My wife orders shrimp dinners and loves them. I need to try more items so I can give another review on other items.
I really don’t want to list restaurant names but I will. I think he blows away King’s Wok and Royal Garden. I know he has them beat in the Fried Rice category.
Tak is also very friendly. Loves to try out his English speaking and is a great guy. Support this place on the corner of Green Tree and Green Bay in Glendale! You won’t be sorry! Tell him «Bob sent me» from the Unilocal Review! :)

Unilocalers who say this business has closed are wrong. I live nearby and Royal Wok is open and thriving 6 days a week!
Always good food. Often only a 15 – 20 minute wait from call in to pick up other than Fri. Nights.

This location is open, we just ordered 2 combination dinners tonight. We have not found any dish that we do not like. The salt and pepper fish is very good. Any of the egg foo young dishes are also very good.
This is a small restaurant more targeted for takeout with a couple of tables inside.

Great service, great food. Best Chinese food in the area. I personally recommend the Orange Chicken and Egg Foo Young. Don’t forget to add an egg roll.

My favorite fresh chinese place. the owner is so friendly… the food is excellent. Ive been coming here for years. this place is highly recommended. also… no msg upon request.

Agree with the previous reviewer on the sesame chicken being rubbery.
The owner was nice and friendly and made sure I got a big helping of all the items in my combo meal.
Several people came in while I was dining in to pick up their carry out orders and they seemed like repeat customers because the owner recognized them.
I may be back but this restaurant needs a facelift and some better cooking procedures.

My go to for take out. Don’t go often but am always greeted as if I’m a regular. No problem getting ‘made to order’. The rangoons as mentioned in another review are not what you expect but are also called ‘cream cheese puffs’ not crab rangoons. So noting that, they are actually pretty good.

We ordered sesame chicken and rice. Pretty run of the mill, but it was rubbery and bland. The rice was overcooked and the crab rangoon had very little crab in it and was stuffed with mostly cream cheese. I will not be returning as there are much better chinese places in Milwaukee.
