We’ve long been frustrated with the service and experience at this Pick ‘n Save but my husband’s interaction was the last straw. He’d puchased a few things including a 12 pk of soda. When the cashier moved the soda after scanning, she tore the cardboard from the handle, opening the top of the pack fully. Rather than a common sense response of apologizing, offering to get a new one or even for him to get a new one, she huffed and tisked, annoyed that it had happened to her and didn’t even acknowledge it to him. Didn’t both thanking him or making any effort at all, just handed him the receipt and pushed the soda and his bags to the end of the counter. We live right by this location and drive by it every day to work, the gym etc and avoid going here at all costs, going out of our way to get our groceries elsewhere because of the crappy experiences we have here nearly every time. A good experience here is a day you don’t leave completely pissed off. The store is in disarray, with frozen food etc on the shelves all over the store, fallen candy there for weeks by the register racks etc. The staff is rude and unprofessional. You can expect to stand in line for at least 10 min most times. It’s been sad to see other merchants leave Mid-town. With so many other things outside of their control, it blows my mind that they can’t set standards for basic customer service and store up-keep. There’s no way upper mngmt management doesn’t know what a mess this store is, so the only conclusion I can make here is they just don’t care based on the location.
