The amount of food they serve is well worth the wait. Really hospitable service, got tons of food for free as well(because I came right before they close). Would definitely recommend this place to people wanting to try different types of foods. Very flavorful.

This place serves Jamaican heaven! After a tip from an Über driver, my husband and neighbor decided to check this place out and we were so glad we did. We order three plates lunches of the jerk chicken, red beans and rice(with curry from the curry chicken on top), plantains, and a side order of a patty(similar to an empanada filled with jerk chicken, beef, or vegetables). We order to-go since it is a take out place/catering place only. We honestly only needed one plate lunch for three people because how much food they give you, but nobody was complaining about having leftovers! My husband actually polished his off since it tasted so good. I have had some Jamaican food before, but nothing this flavorful and loving. You can tell this stuff is cooked with the heart and soul! If you live in Milwaukee, you have to make this a regular food spot. Thanks for the great find, Pepper Pot!

2÷14÷2015 It’s officially safe to say that we’ve found a jerk chicken spot! Normally we would drive to Chicago just to get jerk chicken… the food here is AMAZING… Customer Service is great(and I’m a stickler when it comes to great customer service). They’re very generous with the portions, and what I also love is that you can see your food being prepped. Plantains were prepared and fried in front of us. Food was fresh, and still piping hot when we made it home. I’ll recommend this place to any and everyone… you most definitely get your money’s worth!!!

My girlfriend and I like to try different local restaurants and every now and then we hit the jackpot, this was one of those times. The owner and chef Mr. Dwight Jackson came out front and spoke to us. I could immediately tell Mr. Jackson had a passion for perfecting his dishes and when we dined I was not disappointed. My girlfriend ordered jerk chicken, I ordered ox tails. Both dishes came with red beans and rice, plantain and we chose cabbage for our third side. The entrée prices average around $ 16.00, our meal totaled $ 27.00. This was our first time eating authentic Jamaican cuisine so we really didn’t know what to expect, let’s just say we will be going back. The spices in the food was not over powering but well balanced. And I will add nothing was dry or over cooked. Lastly, the portions are very, very generous. I will be eating off my meal for the next two days. This is a must do for true Jamaican cuisine.

I fell in completely in Love!!! My family is from the Caribbean and my friend recommended I try this place because they were on point. They absolutely did not disappoint! I ordered the oxtails, rice and peas, and cabbage. Plaintains also came with the meal. The food was seasoned perfect and it was heaven from the first bite! The oxtails were tender with a hint of spice. The rice and peas were nice nicely seasoned with the sweet hint of of coconut milk. The cabbage was good but could have cooked a little longer, but still very tasty! I will definitely visit them many more times to come!
