Living on the East Side, I have many Chinese places to choose from. This is the one that I can always count on. The fried rice is good. The fried dumplings are quality and the general tso’s doesn’t disappoint. Overall it is good and the delivery is always relatively quick.

We were hungry on a Friday night so we ordered a Pu Pu Platter and a large Steak Fried Rice for delivery. The food arrived in about an hour, slightly longer than we were hoping, but we were never quoted a time so I suppose I should be thankful it wasn’t much longer. All of the food arrived only slightly warmer than luke warm, and it wasn’t really all that tasty. The fried rice did not taste like any I have ever had. It had less beef than I’m used to and more vegetables which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but the color and flavor were different too. I’ve had fried rice dozens of times in my lifetime and it has never been like this. The Pu Pu platter has its own issues. The Teriyaki Beef was cold and dry and cut very very thin. The Fried Shrimp were cooked perfectly, but the batter was really thick. The Fried Wonton was okay except that it had very little filling. The Crab Rangoon tasted fine but had no dipping sauce. The chicken wings were good. Overall, I was unimpressed.

Best Chinese in Milwaukee. Usually get their sesame chicken or General Tso’s chicken which is delicious. Also, I’m a fan of their Hot and Sour soup.

A friend of mine and I ordered delivery from here yesterday. Their menu says fast delivery. Yea Right!!! 1 ½ hours and 3 calls later we finally got our food. No apology, no offer to make up for the ridiculous wait. Just dropped off our food and went. The vegetable delight was good, but I was so hungry anything would’ve tasted good at that point. Never Again! This is the first time I wish Unilocal allowed Zero Stars!

I called and placed an order for shrimp with chinese broccoli in a garlic sauce which the person on the phone said they had chinese broccoli. I specifically asked because I could not imagine that chinese broccoli is common in Milwaukee. When I received my food I opened the container to find shrimp with cauliflower. I called the restaurant back and told them what I had and the man insisted that chinese broccoli is white. I explained that I had just moved from San Francisco and bought chinese broccoli from China town all the time and this was not chinese broccoli. After a little more back and forth I proceeded to tell them I would not be ordering from them again. I would not be writing this review if I found the food to be good it was quite the opposite. I ordered won ton soup and I do not know what type of meat they put in there but I am sure my cat’s food taste better than that mystery meat. The fried rice seemed like it had been sitting there for days the rice was hard. The shrimp had some sort of breading on it and the garlic sauce had no garlic. Maybe my mistake here was thinking that I could get half decent chinese food in Milwaukee. Oh anyone who is interested this is a link to a picture of chinese broccoli

This quickly became my boyfreind and I’s favorite chinese place in Milwaukee. They have awesome vegetarian options-including fake meat. It’s greasy and not healthy at all, but it’s very good and cheap.
