I liked this place. I lived in the neighbourhood for 14 years and by the time we finally checked it out, I wished we had gone more! Great gyros, awesome service. Like others said, I just wish their Greek fries weren’t so bad. They were chewy and just had an old fast-​food taste to them. Everything else is so good and fresh– you can taste it.

I love this place. I will make this short and sweek, YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!! And you get a lot of food for your money. If you leave hungry you did something wrong.

Lincoln Gyros is a few blocks from our house and it is a great place to grab take-​out on a week night. I recommend calling ahead with your order because it does take awhile for them to prepare it but that is always a good thing IMO since it means the food is not prepared ahead of time. Great gyros, reasonable pricing and friendly service.

We stopped here Saturday for dinner. It is a very small place, with only takeout available. The girl behind the counter was very nice, and she told me that I would love it. We did! I ordered the gyro meal, which cost just under $ 10. We ordered an extra pita bread, and split the meal between the two of us. The meal came with a ton of meat, fries, a very small but flavorful Greek salad, and a soda. They even upgraded me to a big Coke for no extra charge. The meat was very good, and not greasy at all. Without asking for extra, which we normally do, we received a big container of Tzakziki sauce. It had a very good fresh dill flavor. We enjoyed every bite, and will likely go back. They have a very extensive menu, but it seems like the kind of place I would be hard pressed to get anything else beside a gyro. Especially after knowing just how good it was!

I was in Wisconsin on vacation and decided to try Lincoln Gyros! Very satisfied. All for around $ 10, you get a full dinner, including the gyro, fries, salad, and a drink. And it’s so much food!

If you enjoy Oakland Gyros, you just found it on the South Side! If you don’t order your gyro with fries you will hate yourself. The meat on the gyro IS NOT dry, which is my most common issue with some gyro places. Really, the only knock I have is that they don’t give you much sauce (ya know, that crazy cucumber stuff all gyro places have). I probably could have asked for it had I known, so just keep it in mind. I’ll be going back here REGULARLY.
