I’m really torn what to rate this place. I walked in to drop-off a coat that needed a new zipper. The lady there did not greet me when I walked in the door — which I thought was odd because it was a very loud door with a bell on it. In all fairness, she was in the middle of something, so I figured I would let her finish up. After at least 3 minutes without an acknowledgement… things started to get awkward. She still hadn’t look at me at this point. I finally broke down said«Hello?». Still no response. I waited about another minute before I said something again. Still no response. This happened one more time. I started to seriously wonder if she was deaf. I had no idea what to do. Well, after at least 5 minutes(which felt like an eternity), she finished what she was doing, walked directly over to the counter, and started to help me like I just walked in the door. I was so confused. She definitely could hear just fine. So, I left my coat with her… and totally unsure of what I got my coat in to. Fast forward 16 hours… she called and my coat was done! I was in shock. Pleasantly surprised. I went to pick it up — nervous how things with go. It was totally normal. My zipper was fixed. And I left happy. I was torn between a 2 and a 3… just because of how things went down when I dropped off my coat. From other reviews, sounds like the lady(maybe owner) is just socially awkward.

I like having a tailor in my neighborhood. The work is top notch bar none. I’ve used them to fix ski pants, put in hems, repair torn pockets and dry cleaning. The only drawbacks are cash only and open til 5pm weekdays only. If you’re looking for the best quality in town though I’m willing to deal with minor inconveniences.

Fazio’s gets three stars because I went in knowing what to expect from previous reviews. It’s a local business and I strive to support those in my neighborhood. The owner is old school, there aren’t going to be any«how was your day?» conversations around here. Strictly business. I had two pair of pants hemmed and was in and out with measurements in 10 minutes. The owner is not much for conversation unless you want to reminisce about how the neighborhood used to be. Cash only. Small shop with an entrance shared by the barber next door. Craftsmanship was impeccable but took about two weeks.

Terrible experiences throughout. Rude greedy owner is a liar with poor social skills and generally lacks decency. Did a terrible repair to a button hole on my shirt then lied about dry cleaning my shearling coat. Do business with the younger lady who seems decent and has an actual idea of how to tailor something. The older lady must have given up on life at some point and takes it out on her customers.

Cash only. 2 week turnover time for a simple hem on one pair if pants. Not friendly. Horrible hours(she held my pants hostage for 3 weeks because they aren’t open after 5pm m-f)
