Located in the Public Market (and online), Brew CityBeer Gear sells Milwaukee/Wisconsin themed t-shirts and sweatshirts. They specialize in the «tailgater» which is a hood with a special pocket to hold your beer. Brilliant — and necessary!
On a recent visit, I scored a «Drink Up, Witches» tee for Halloween. It make me laugh every time I look at it, but I’m easily amused. There are probably a few dozen designs on display, and most are pretty funny. There are also cheese scarves.
Quality is at the American Apparel level and the prices are pretty reasonable. Great for gifts for out of towners, or to show your Milwaukee pride by sporting a «We Drink More in the 414» shirt.

I got a freaker!!!
Yep, it’s a sweater for your drink. This lil cozy will keep virtually any size drink cool. You should check them out. I’ve been waiting and waiting for a super cute one and I finally got myself a green one with a cupcake on it.
Other than that there are some pretty cute/funny Wisconsin shirts.
I do have to say that both times I’ve been there the staff hasn’t been very friendly…
